Grateful to have celebrated my birthday in the most beautiful hotel, with such a picturesque view. The mountain backdrop is breathtaking. Can’t get enough of the view. The buffet was exceptional with the different themes and varieties. The staffs were kind and super friendly. The hotel is truly the place to be with a wonderful view and a peaceful atmosphere. Special thanks to Mr Gopal (Housekeeping Manager) and Mrs Auffray (Hotel Manager) for making my birthday a wonderful one.

This hotel is the essence of what 5 star service, products and atmosphere should be. Our trip was heavenly with all the food being out of this world, the staff being super friendly and welcoming but most of all, the hotel itself being surrounded with amazing views. Heartfelt thanks to the Mrs Auffray ( Hotel Manager) and Mr Gopall ( Houseekping Manager) for making this stay possible and helping and guiding us into have a wonderful experience.

Just arrived back after a fantastic 10 days at this hotel. The whole experience was exceptional, I will run out of superlatives during this review. Hotel room spotless and so cool with wonderful A/C, the WiFi was super fast. All the hotel staff from porters, reception, golf club, dining, cleaners, engineers were unbelievably polite, always smiling and extremely courteous. Food at every restaurant, including the sister hotel Le Paradis was Michelin star standard. Snorkelling, glass-bottom boat and water-skiing were included FOC. We paid for a 2 hour snorkelling with dolphins trip, again worth every penny as we swam very closely to Bottle-Nose and Spinner dolphins, they were very inquisitive and the skipper assured us they were please to see us, all this in their natural habitat. We also encountered Eagle Rays and a local Turtle feeding on the sea grass. My wife is now a snorkelling enthusiast. I paid a fee of approximately £70.00 to go SCUBA diving as I hold an Advance Open Water badge., the fee included all the equipment, insurance and an excellent PADI instructor. The golf facilities were perfect, with a range, short game area and putting green. the course was in excellent condition, I played at 06:30 on each occasion and with a buggy completed the round in under 2-hours, yes 2 hours! The back 9 was my favourite section the 16th hole is stunning and scenery would be hard to beat anywhere in the world.

Fabulous resort with turtles swimming in the bay excellent service, pleasant well-sized room a good and very reasonably priced spa, a great beach restaurant for lunch and to my surprise a world class wine list with some fabulous under-the-radar highly rated wines. Looking forward to coming back!

Amazing winter sun break. Fabulous resort, food, service, beautiful beach, today I was out on the lagoon and we saw a baby turtle. Spa is beautiful and massages well priced. Joelle in the hair salon is a marvel and sorted me out with a colour treatment and blow dry. H

The Dinarobin draws us back time and time again. Such is the standard of service, the friendliness and engagement of the staff, and the just incredible location it is difficult to look past the Dinarobin. In May 2024 we spent 10 nights at the Dinarobin and were due to spend another 7 nights at the Royal Palm. An unexpected closure of the Royal Palm led us to divert to le Trous aux Biches. This year we thought long and hard whether we would split our time between the Dinarobin and the Royal Palm but such has been the excellence of the service we have historically enjoyed at the Dinarobin we decided we are going to spend all our time there again this coming May. Perhaps when we retire we will fit in another couple of weeks at the Royal Palm but for now we just need our annual Dinarobin fix! Why do we rate the Dinarobin so highly? 1. The incredible personalisation of the experience. We are always welcomed back like valued friends and our daily dialogue and interaction with the staff is always a joy. No one is just a room number at the Dinarobin......the staff quickly get to know you and this personal touch makes all the difference. 2. The service is of the highest level......time and time again the staff at the Dinarobin have gone the extra mile for us. If anything goes wrong (and it did somewhat for our son and his family last year) Dinarobin's very professional staff will try their very best to remedy it quickly and without fuss. Our son and his wife were very impressed at how their issue was addressed. 3. The comfortable and spacious elegance of the accommodation is exactly what we want. The rooms are kept scrupulously clean by the housekeeping staff and in our previous 5 visits we have never once had cause to adversely comment to each other never mind complain to the hotel. 4. The food is exceptional in all of the restaurants. My son in law (who visited the Dinarobin in 2023) is the Head Chef of a top London restaurant. He was especially impressed by the quality of the buffet and explained to me how difficult it was to serve that quality of food to perhaps 150 to 200 guests every night. Some years ago on our second trip to the Dinarobin we booked the Umami for our first night. The setting was special but the menu was somewhat beyond my experience so I asked the waiter if he could just order for us. He responded positively and asked if either my wife or I were allergic to anything. I explained that I was hugely allergic to Manchester United and Manchester United supporters ........I expected this quip to sail over the Mauritian waiters head but instead he looked at me sympathetically, placed his hand on my shoulder and solemnly said "Sir, You Will Never Walk Alone". What an absolutely brilliant start to our 2 week holiday at the Dinarobin! 5. The Dinarobin is located next to a world heritage site on perhaps the best beach in Mauritius directly underneath the mountain. It is certainly the best spot on Le Morne with very significant acreage compared to the other top class resorts in the area. I have often walked the length of the Le Morne peninsula to its windy kitesurfing end. The acreage in which the other top class hotels are positioned is nothing like the size of the Dinarobin. Beachcomber were the first hotel group on Le Morne and they certainly bagged the best spot. The views and the walks are just stunning 6. The ability to visit and enjoy the Dinarobin's sister hotel Le Paradis which is next door is a big bonus enabling you to enjoy the water sports, the golf and a number of other restaurants 7. The 18 hole golf course is truly spectacular. My wife plays most days and if I am not fishing I caddy for her. It is a most picturesque course with some exceptional holes 8. The Dinarobin crescent pools are fantastic and if you are accommodated in the adults only Zen crescent the fabulous beach side batik bar is only 50 metres away. Hanging out at the batik bar is a great way to spend a couple of hours at any time of day. 9. There is good entertainment put on every night which in recent has really stepped up in quality 10. There is so much to occupy your holiday time from lazing, walking, water sports, golf, and if these activities aren't enough the absolutely first class concierge team will sort you out with deep seas fishing, a day out on a catamaran, climbing the mountain ( a guide is essential it is not a stroll!) or any other number of activities The Dinarobin deserves all the accolades it receives, it really is that good!

We have just returned from an outstanding 10 night stay at Dinarobin. This was our third return visit as we find the hotel and staff amazing. The weather was perfect for the whole 10 days with only two or three very light showers. The beach is huge, sandy and perfect for swimming / snorkelling ( I always use beach shoes as coral/ stones can be a bit sharp but not absolutely necessary) . The food was great and the buffet each evening was of a high quality with lots of choice. Restaurants were also available to book but we loved the buffet. Patricia the Hotel manger has a great team who always put the guest as top priority. From the moment we arrived we were given a warm welcome and were able to relax straight way. Thanks to all the staff and to mention just a few by name : Helena, Berty and Rosa at reception, Sanjay and Kivesh at the beach restaurant the Mourne Plage where we had the most relaxing lunches with sound of waves at our feet, all the Restaurant and Bar staff were great and the manager Nizad who surprised us with an amazing beach breakfast, the Boutique Bar staff who provided great service ; Emanuel, David , Vijay, Rajiv, Benzo (glad you were back) and of course Jessica with her amazing smile, the main bar staff were as amazing as ever with Boomesh as excellent host / front of house aided by his great staff ( great to see Pravesh back just before we left ). Special thanks to Kavita from the housekeeping team who serviced our room daily; was so friendly and helpful showed great pride in her job. I could write a whole book on our stay so apologies if we’ve not mentioned anyone by name or everything that was made the holiday so enjoyable but honestly you are all amazing. Hope to see you all again next year. Thankyou

There are not enough superlatives to describe the Dinarobin, it’s exceptional high levels of service and luxury,,,, but I will try. Yet another return visit ( 22 year of visiting now) and this time including the New Year celebrations,, Wohhhhh absolutely magical. From firstly having super weather for the evening, with beautiful tables set around the main pool area, to amazing decorations everywhere you looked. The food was outstanding my compliments to the chefs and Nizad for organising the whole evening of culinary delights. This was followed by great entertainment and a super disco with two amazing dj’s which rounded off with an awesome firework display that went on and on,,, just brilliant. Can truthfully say the best New Year Eve ever. The hotel again did not disappoint, in fact on each visit once or twice a year, I find improvements every time, it’s really hard to go round thanking everyone for making the holiday and the start to 2025 so perfect. I will though mention a few who really do warrant a mention. Have to start with the two amazing ladies who deliver time after time and hold a super team together,, Patricia and Audrey, two brilliant managers. The place would not be the same without you. Nizad and Pavesh F&B who always produce and provide super delights for everyone. Two exceptional leaders who lead by example. Umami is my favourite restaurant under the culinary expertise of Chef Singh providing beautiful food and it’s always a delight to be served by Abhishek. The variety of food in the buffet improves all the time, and I enjoy the wide variety on offer, whether breakfast or dinner, all supervised and served by the cheerful staff of Ravee, Sam and Cassy and the whole team. We even got to meet Fleur a new trainee this trip and what a delightful young lady she is. Of course I have to mention the Mahogany Bar under the supervision of Boomesh and Bhageruth Romesh who look after you so well. In fact Sun Deep (Pravesh) or as I call him,, pocket rocket,, so quick and efficient actually know what you want before you do,,, it’s great. Such super personable staff and so cheerful. Back to the Butik Bar, we were so well looked after by Emmanule and his great team. In particular Frankie, very hard working. In our suite we were taken great care of by Kavita under the super supervision of Shalini and Ashley. Our suite was always clean and fresh with those beautiful and comfortable beds. One last person to mention as the whole team of bellboys/ drivers of the club cars work so hard and take everyone from suites to destinations always with a smile, is Danny. You are great. So the hotel,,, luxury,,, beautiful,, exceptional customer service. Culinary delights at all the restaurants and super service The hotel is set in the most beautiful setting on Le Morne with the mountain as the stunning back drop, awesome sunsets, we were treated to many as the weather this trip (3 weeks) was superb. 2024 was a hard year for me ( more than most realise) so finishing the year at my most favourite place in the world and welcoming in 2025 was just wonderful. The Dinarobin has my heart and I would tell everyone to visit,, at least once,, it’s my heaven and will be in my heart always.
