We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cypress House! It was a delightful home base for many adventures in the Outer Banks. Veda and Bill were the most excellent and accommodating hosts, replete with information about the region's history and ideas for places to visit and dine, not to mention the delicious breakfasts and conversations. A real gem is the nearby Wright Brothers National Memorial, full of amazing history; we could have spent an entire day there! October was a pleasant time to visit and avoid the crowds. Such a variety of awesome adventures, including: Wright Brothers National Memorial, Fort Raleigh National Historic Site, Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site and Museum, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Currituck Beach Lighthouse, Pea Island Beach, Wild Horse Adventure Tours, Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, Jockey's Ridge State Park, nearby seafood restaurants, sunsets and sunrises!

My husband and I had a great stay at the Cypress House. Veda and Bill were the best hosts. They were very welcoming, informative, and attentive to our needs. The rooms were clean and cozy. I loved the wrap around porch and the backyard is absolutely gorgeous. It was so nice waking up to breakfast each morning and conversing with other guests. I highly recommend checking this beautiful house out if you are looking for a location super close to the beach. We will definitely be back soon.

We had a wonderful weekend stay here with the inn keepers Veda and Bill Peter’s. We were very well taken care of in every way…clean accommodations, wonderfully breakfast each morning, great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The facility is a beautiful 1940’s hunting lodge with all the old charm and character but with modern updates of necessary areas. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to slow down a bit and step back in time a little to a bygone era.

The amenities are amazing; tea and coffee available 24/7, delicious breakfasts each morning, accommodating my Celiac Disease & Gluten-Free restrictions with ease. The friendliness & warmth of Bill & Veda Peters made them seem like friends immediately! I especially love the wraparound porch with a breeze and comfy rockers and seats - you can even have your breakfast outside on the porch if you like. The grounds outside are beautiful, and the inside even more. Comfy pillows, mattress and sheets that were so very welcoming each night. Private bathrooms with fresh thick towels - and beautiful views from each window. And the ocean just a few steps across the street!! We love Cypress House Inn, and will continue to come here every year when we vacation in the Outer Banks. We love it!!

Bill and Veda are fabulous inn keepers at this adorable and well appointed B&B. Their warmth and attention to detail fabulously compliments their cozy inn. Beach chairs and umbrellas are included. Rooms are very comfortable with amazing beds. A short walk to the beach. Highly recommend staying here.

We love The Cypress House Inn. This is our second visit to the Inn and our stay was great. Bill and his family are friendly and helpful. Bill has great dinner recommendations too. Breakfast is delicious and there is a different meal every morning. The house keeper is friendly and takes pride in her work. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. My husband and I feel very comfortable at the Inn. It’s a great location as it’s close to beach and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Wonderful and convenient location, fantastic breakfasts and hosts were extremely hospitable. Room was spacious, fresh and cozy. Beach just a short 2 min walk. Hosts provided beach chairs and towels, as well. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
