I don’t understand why this hotel is highly rated. It is certainly in a good location, but it was otherwise disappointing. It is very clean, but otherwise very plain and everything about it felt uninspired, from the service that felt perfunctory, to the breakfast that offered items comparable to those at a Hampton Inn, not Paris! We knew the rooms were very small, but we did not know about the steep, narrow, winding staircase topped only by the tiny (2 person, or 1 person plus luggage) elevator that was often tied up by staff. Finally, we had to dodge painters, wet paint, and repair men all during our stay. It was not comfortable and certainly not romantic- not really worth what we paid.

We came here for honeymoon and it was the best! The rooms are a bit small but still comfortable. Also, I think thats the baseline for hotel rooms here. The service was impeccable. Basith was so very helpful. Answered all our questions and helped make arrangements for traveling within the city. The hotel is centrally located making it easy to get to all scheduled tours. Outside the entrance you'll find fruit markets and delicious restaurants. All in all a great stay

We really enjoy our stay at this hotel. Hotel is very cozy, very well located. Surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. Our Hosts, Basith, Pablo and Elsa were really welcoming and always ready to help in any way we needed. Breakfast at the hotel was really good!.

Absolutely perfect location with a perfecly clean and comfortable room. The hotel is on Rue Cler, which is a cobblestone street with all sorts of shops, restaurants and stands. There is s a butcher, boulangerie, fishmonger, produce stand, flowers, chocolates and just about anything you could possible want. We were able to walk to most of the Paris hot spots from there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We has an early flight, but were able to drop off our bags prior to check in and explore the city until our room was ready.

My wife and I liked staying at this hotel. It was recommended by Rick Steves in his book on France. The hotel is located on Rue Cler which is a busy pedestrian street with produce and meat markets, shops, restaurants, etc. Our room was small but clean and functional. It overlooked an enclosed garden. Breakfast was good. The staff were generally excellent, especially Elisa who works the breakfast. The desk staff were also wonderful in providing information. Areas for improvement - shower has no tray to hold soap or shampoo. Had to use the shower floor pan. When we got there, there were several English news channels. However, the streaming was intermittent - on for 30 seconds, off for 20 seconds. I requested the desk staff to fix the issue. They eventually responded by eliminating all streaming for those channels. On the morning, we were leaving for the airport, breakfast appeared to be ready at ten minutes till seven. We thought, we would get some toast and coffee. We are quickly interrupted by a person other than Elisa to cease which we did. Apparently, she was not anywhere like Elisa. This person needs to be trained to be gracious like the rest of the staff. Certainly did not make us feel good just prior to leaving.
