Every time we visit Bariloche, we have dinner at Stag. The food is incredible, the service is top-notch, and the views are a dream! In summer, the weather is perfect for dining on the terrace. Highly recommended! Huge thanks to Ayelen for her amazing attention—she made our experience even better!

The service was fantastic and meals really good. The suite was wonderful with lots of stuff for relaxation and great balconies and super views. Most of all there was Alejandra. A pretty and kind lady to help our time there be so terrific. - Alan and Susan

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the lodge! The stunning views, fluffiest bed and cushions, and the staff is absolutely amazing! They helped us very well! We recommend everyone to go there… We only had two nights and we wish we could have stayed longer…

Beautiful property with stunning views, and exceptional service. This is the place to stay for your Bariloche holiday! There is an amazing heated pool and hot tubs overlooking the lake, and a path down to a huge beach.

Very pleasant. Room were great as were the hosts. Not a lot of vegan options on the menu would be the only comment as my wife is vegan, but the rooms were great. They are under construction currently as well The new part looks like it will have crazy good...

We stayed only 1 night but it was so lovely, we have to come back next year. They put flags of countries at outside of our room, it was so sweet. Our room came with sauna, steam shower and jacuzzi. And it was wonderful. The view from our room, patio...

And it was wonderful. The view from our room, patio and breakfast dining room was stunning. We played golf on the first day at Llao Llao and next day, we did an easy hike in the woods recommended by the concierge desk of charming hotel. It was magical! Next time we come back, we will definitely stay at Charming Spa again, and yes, I would love to have a dinner at your tree house! There are lots to explore in Bariloche. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Charming is a truly unique property consisting of five chalets with exposed beams spread over a manicured hillside overlooking a stunning lake. Each chalet has two or more rooms or apartments. Our room had a kitchenette and a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub for two, a sauna and a shower room which doubles as a steam room. The room itself was a generous size, had a fireplace and a large closet. The floors and towel rack are all heated and there’s a heat pump for heating and cooling. It made the room extremely comfortable especially on cold mornings. We had a private balcony overlooking the lake and the snow capped mountains in the distance. Breakfast is served in the main building and provides a large selection of anything you could want. The hotel is located about a fifteen minute drive outside of Bariloche town in an area with a large selection of restaurants and grocery stores. Managers Andrea and Augustin were always around and accessible for information and to cater to any request. They were both personable and caring and their presence greatly enhanced our stay. I can’t imagine a more unique or comfortable property. I think it’s the only place to stay when in Patagonia.

Ahhh the view is simply charming!!! The service is wonderful! Lionel & team are very pleasant. Wish we stayed longer. Truly a charming place. Breakfast is very “homey”. A quaint place while you’re away from home. Book dinner at Stag while you’re staying at the place

The Charming Luxury Lodge definitely lives up to its name…a delightful slice of alpine luxury with incredible lake views. Our ‘petit chalet’ was quite spacious providing all the comforts, including a lovely outdoor deck with glorious views of the lake. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate with a wide variety of choices including made to order eggs. Unfortunately we were only here for 2 nights. If ever we have a return trip we would definitely stay longer! We loved how the guests’ country flags were displayed outside each cottage.

We enjoyed it very much, we felt like home. Staff very friendly and willing to help to meet our needs. The views from our room were beautiful, the breakfast was excellent and the restaurant is first class. In a few words, we were treated like family. An unforgettable experience!

When your travels bring you to Bariloche, this should be your first choice for accommodations.

Yes, the place offers spectacular views, super friendly staff, clean rooms but it's very very dated. Our room was extremely loud, hard to sleep at night with the noise. The room safe had errors both days, had to be serviced twice and when we left, it wasn’t working but fortunately...

Yes, the place offers spectacular views, super friendly staff, clean rooms but it's very very dated. Our room was extremely loud, hard to sleep at night with the noise. The room safe had errors both days, had to be serviced twice and when we left, it wasn’t working but fortunately we got our valuables and passports out. Pool is extremely old, not clean. Bathroom is large, shower can be steam also, private sauna in bath. I’m sure it was state of the art when built but it’s old and tired now. Grounds needed attention, stairs and railings outside are old and worn. That being said, we had lovely breakfasts and a very nice dinner at Stag.

Charming was lovely and very helpful guest services staff! The food was excellent and the location was perfect for exploring this part of Patagonia! We loved our room, the spa features and all of the attention to detail including the gardens.

The service was also exceptional since they even managed to get a forgotten bag to Buenos Aires for us. Thanks again so much for a memorable stay. We would definitely come back.

I highly recommend that travelers chop a day or two off of their time in BA so they can add a day or two to their time in Bariloche at this property. So much to see and do here!
