Far exceeded my expectations. The view was unbelievable! The room was exceptionally well thought out in terms of shelves, space, etc... This is one of the cleanest and most comfortable small hotels I have stayed in. The family who own and run it are exceedingly helpful. When our transportation was late, they waited a while and then insisted they call a taxi for fear we would miss our ferry, and they were 100% right. And the location can't be beat!

If you're in any doubt about where to stay in San Cristobal Island, Galapagos, look no further! Casa Playa Mann is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at (and we travel quite a bit!). We were welcomed so warmly by Jose with a nice cold coconut drink and he took the time to sit down with us and explain the amenities. The hotel is a family business and we also met Lucia, his sister who was equally warm and inviting. Throughout our stay, they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and lacked for nothing. One evening, Jose even made a pharmacy run to pick up some hydration drinks! Lucia even went so far as to put my wet shoes out in the sun for me! Trust me, they treat you like family. They are also available to help you book trips if you need it. Our room was delightful! It was spacious and looked right out over the ocean. The huge balcony was amazing with comfortable seating, a small refrigerator and even a clothes rack should you need to dry out a swimsuit. At night, you can see the distant lights twinkle across the bay. I wish we had more days to simply relax and unwind in that lovely space! The room and bath were immaculate with fluffy white towels, bath products, etc. Breakfast was perfect and our eggs were made to order. At breakfast, we also got to meet Jose and Lucia's wonderful mom. The hotel also provides drinks that are on an honor system. You pay for what you take. Beach towels are available for free and if you are in the mood for a yoga session, yoga mats are also provided! And last but not the least, the location is amazing. It's a short walk to the beach or the quaint downtown with its restaurants and coffee shops! I wouldn't stay anywhere else on San Cristobal or even on all of Galapagos. It was hands-down my favorite place to stay! I hope to return someday!

Casa Playa Mann was by far the best hotel we stayed in Peru and Equador/Galapagos. Why? Not only the very confortable beds and pillows, the great shower, incredible breakfast with fresh fruits, granola and eggs with toast. (The yuka bread!!!!) but mostly the loving caretaking of Lucia and José

We had the most amazing time at Casa Playa Mann. It was the last stop on a 3 week trip and it was the perfect end with the most welcoming hosts. The location is great, less than 5 mins walk to the beach where you can watch the sunset and less than 10 mins walk to the bars and restaurant. We had the ocean view room where we could enjoy the gorgeous view - the hammocks were a bonus!. Jose and Lu go above and beyond to make every guest feel comfortable - if we are lucky enough to come back to the Galapagos one day, we will definitely be back to casa playa Mann!

A beautiful family run hotel, in an excellent position near to the beach & restaurants. Our stay here was so comfortable, the host Jose & his sister were so friendly & accomodating. The rooms were spotlessly clean & and everything was provided for a comfortable stay. Our room looked out to the lovely garden area, with tables, chairs & hammocks where you could relax. Breakfast was very good & set us up for the day. I just wish we could've stayed longer. Would highly recommend.

This place could not have been more wonderful! The staff are what made our visit extraordinary. The owners and their relatives were incredibly welcoming, ready to attend to our every need. The room was large and comfortable. There was a self serve fridge outside with beer and wine. Breakfasts were delicious. We dined each night at Mutu, a very short walk from the hotel, that was super gourmet. A short further walk brought us to the town pier where we saw sea lions and marine iguanas galore. Totally worth a visit!

My partner and I are so glad we stayed at Casa Playa Mann for three days in early October, 2024. After just finishing the Salkantay 3 night/4 day trek in Peru, we needed a relaxing break. This lovely hacienda provided that and more. It was a friendly family affair with the brother, sister and mother combination doing every they could to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble like getting tours organized, and providing scrumptious breakfasts. The ocean view room complete with a large verandah and hammock provided a perfect spot! Casa Playa Mann was a brilliant gateway to magical San Cristobal.

This small hotel truly catered to our every need with unmatched level of graciousness and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and attentive service. The rooms were cozy and clean! We had the perfect view of the water! Room #4 was perfect. The hotel’s location was close to the beach. Breakfast was freshly prepared and they adjusted serving us breakfast to meet our timelines! Wow!
