We had a really nice time at the Cameron House Inn! Amazing location, quiet and away from the busy-ness of Kitty Hawk but very accesible to some exciting sites and restaurants. Downtown Manteo is beautiful and it was so lovely to be 2 blocks away from a quiet waterfront in the middle of summer.

My husband and I had a wonderful time here. It was our first time out to the Outer Banks and we were so impressed and pleased that we chose the Cameron House Inn to stay. Manteo is a great a little town with restaurants, a cute old movie theater and easy access to the beach front. The Cameron House is easy walking distance to everything you would want to do in Manteo and at night you can enjoy a cup of tea while sitting in the big leather chair in the living room. Breakfast in the morning is amazing and cooked on site and yes you can leave your plates on the table because you are on vacation and being spoiled. My only regret is that we didn't come in the cooler months so we could enjoy the fireplaces. They have one on an outside patio and one inside the living room. Finally my husband and I stayed in the Creek Room. I would definitely recommend it, but that's because I love the big windows and getting to open up the curtains in the morning. Ps-as stated we came in July so yes it was hot but inside our room was nicely chilled it was always relaxing coming back to the inn after walking all over the town.

We were originally staying two nights but added a third. Great location. Great town. Christina and Abbie were great hosts. Christina’s breakfasts were delicious and creative. Abbie’s cakes are legendary. We’ll be back again

My husband and I stayed in the Featherstone room at the Cameron House Inn and absolutely loved it! We came here for our one year wedding anniversary and it was the perfect, cozy spot. The manager was so sweet and always made a wonderful breakfast! They also had homemade cakes and cookies which were delicious! It was our first time in the Outerbanks and the location was great! We were able to walk down to the pier and to the Roanoke Island Festival Park and were just a short drive away from Nags Head and Kitty Hawk so that was perfect for us! Would definitely come back here :)

We spent 2 nights at Cameron House Inn just one week ago. Rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious and welcoming. All the staff were gracious and helpful. The House had both an inviting covered front and back porch to lounge in. In addition to a great breakfast, yummy cookies and cakes plus a refrigerator with water and soft drinks topped off a great experience. We would definitely return.

We became friendly with the other couples staying there and every morning we shared our adventures of the day and any suggestions for visiting OBX sights . Chris said we really got along! Yes we did. You can always bond over cake in the late evening!

We spent one night during a visit to OBX. We arrived to notes on the door from the innkeeper welcoming us to the inn and providing instructions to our room. We stayed in the Avocet room which included a queen bed, 2 sitting chairs, a ceiling fan and a large tub and shower. The space was fairly roomy and the inn was beautiful. Snacks and baked goods greeted us in the living room and kitchen and water plus soft drinks were available in a small frig in the kitchen. There was a porch in the back with chairs where you could enjoy a fire but we did not go out there. It had been very windy that day so we’re avoiding going outside. There is also a resident cat who stays outside. The shower was hot and water pressure was plentiful in the morning. Everything in our room was in good repair and the bedding and decor was very inviting. Christine, the innkeeper, prepared a hot home-cooked breakfast and was a lovely host. The food portions were adequate for me but a little light for my husband. The triple chocolate cake, prepared by the innkeeper and her assistant was excellent as were the blueberry corn muffins served was the breakfast. Street parking was easy to find and outside the b&b. All in all, I would recommend the Cameron Inn B&B for an enjoyable stay.

This place is pretty close to the "classic" B&B. Chris, the manager, was very friendly, helpful, and cooked up a delicious breakfast each morning. Her recommendations for dinner were the best. The B&B has a spacious living room, rooms were good size, beds quite comfortable.

This was in mini vacation for my husband and I for some rest and relaxation... WE FOUND IT! The house was perfect and the hospitality from Chris and Abby were too! Oh, and you can't forget Jack... the resident porch cat. He was "purr-fect" too!

This is totally Heaven on Earth. From the time you step on the front porch you are welcomed into an Amazing old house. The woodwork and design of the house is beautiful. You can rest your weary feet on the front porch and swing or sit on the back porch...

You can rest your weary feet on the front porch and swing or sit on the back porch by the fire as your transformation begins. The house is centered to ALL the attractions on the OBX. The town of Manteo is so charming and the water area is just footsteps away. There is plenty to eat, drink, and great entertainment near by. When you awake the Innkeeper Chris has an AMAZING GOURMET Breakfast awaiting. Each room has a special setting and the beds are very comforting. Each day there is fresh baked treats to keep the house smelling like HOME. Abby and Leslie make sure everything is just right. The owner Beth & Mike Storie are near by if you need anything. All of their hospitality is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank you for such a WONDERFUL stay. Until next time, CHEERS!!!!!!

The house smelled of fresh baked cookies when we walked through the front door. Our room was very nice, clean, a simply decorated. The bed slept wonderfully. Breakfast was delicious and the service very accommodating. As many have said, the fireplace on the back porch was a special treat in the evening...along with the amazing homemade cake that was free for the taking! The house was very peaceful, cozy and relaxing, so much so that after making a reservation for just one night we decided to stay a second. I must also say that Chris and Abby were very gracious and kind hosts! (The house is just a 3 minute walk from downtown Manteo and there's plenty to see and do within a 20-30 drive.)
