This hotel is excellently located on the outskirts of Ajaccio in a residential area. It is positioned right on the water and has a large swimming pool and access to a private beach. The layout of the restaurant, bar, and rooms is modern, tasteful, and very functional. The staff is friendly and goes out of its way to accommodate guests. Breakfast is exquisite and very varied and the hotel has a restaurant right at the water for dinner. The cuisine is resourceful and reasonably priced considering the variety of the menu and creativity of its chef.

It was easy to take the local bus nr 5 to Ajaccio for 1 € instead of driving. I would recommend this hotel. It was clean, easy to get to and had a stunning view next to the sea.

We had a very nice stay. The location is very quiet, the view of the sea is fantastic. The rooms are air conditioned, very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The restaurant is highly recommended. Many thanks to the whole team for the nice service.

Enjoying a gorgeous south-facing waterside location in the beach area west of Ajaccio, the Cala di Sole has a lot going for it. Rooms with balconies facing out to see, a spacious terrace, large, salt-water pool (covered in bad weather but heated, I assumed, as it was 28C when we used it in late May), and an excellent breakfast spread (€19.50pp extra), this is an attractive place to stay. Disappointments include the lack of an in-house restaurant (the hotel is dependent on the nearby Paillote - beach restaurant - which has a more limited season), with snacks available from the bar only in the evening (and even then not on Tuesday). Other negatives: the early check-out time (10am), and the annoying music piped around the outside terraces. The related Paillote de Cala di Sole, a few minutes away, is a very decent beach restaurant open lunch- and dinnertime, though it closes Tuesday evenings. Ten minutes' walk away are the various restaurants of the Marinella beach.

We had the perfect privilege room (603) with two balconies and a panoramic view from both windows. Excellent breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and a huge natural honeycomb. We had the perfect privilege room (603) with two balconies and a panoramic view from both windows. Excellent breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and a huge natural honeycomb. It would have been nice to have refreshments offered throughout the day. The beach restaurant has limited opening hours (12-2, 7.30-9.30pm) and is closed on Tuesday evenings. The hotel bar opens at 5.30pm with no snacks on Tuesdays. It it a wonderful location for just relaxing by the sea and dipping in the seawater pool BUT the continuous mindless 'music' was intrusive and even reached our room. Only poolside was a peaceful haven.

Amazing view grom our room with a balcony. Endless open sea right in front of us. Very quiet room!!! Very quick access to a lovely beach. Friendly hotel staff. The breakfast is unfortunately too expensive (18 euro) We‘ll come back!

Amazing view, tastefully done interior, impeccable service. Special thanks to staff members who went extra mile to help with the delivery of the item we lost in the hotel. If we are ever back in Ajaccio, this would be the place where we would come back.

From start to finish the hotel was accommodating in every way. We arrived early and they gave us what we needed to enjoy our day while we wait for our room. Our room was spectacular. Was very clean and very spacious. They cleaned our room everyday. Lunch and dinner we at the beach which was very nice. Breakfast was near the pool area. We rented a car and had no problem parking. We found the hotel staff very friendly and there to help at all times. Short walk to a couple of restaurants and a short drive to others and Ajaccio. We would definitely stay here again. When checking out they were very efficient and were helpful in getting us a taxi and holding our bags till we had to go. On our bill we were not aware that we had to pay for beach towels. It wasn’t much but would have been nice to have told. Also make sure you indicate which cafe you get as it seems that they have different prices for cafe. We had the same cafe every morning but had different charges. Very minor negatives. Will definitely go back to this location and enjoyed ourselves greatly.

Lovely hotel, with astonishing view on the sea and the pointe de la parata. Nice and modern lobby and bar with good cocktails, which makes it a joy to sit down and look over the water. There is a large (salt) water swimming pool and private beach with beds and good quality beach restaurant for lunch and dinner. Our room was clean and large, but bathroom was a bit outdated. also missing a small fridge for some cold bottles of water. Private parking is another plus!
