Lovely place. Beautiful view of the lake. The accommodations are fine, we has a mid range room with two queens, A sitting area. Nice nice kitchenette. Big screen TV worked and had a respectable number of channels. The bath was pretty basic. Old style shower tub combo. There is a sink and vanity outside the bath, probably an extra place for shaving or makeup application if bath is being used. Mismatch bulbs (some clear, some frosted) were a bit off putting. Ate at the Sports Bar downstairs...excellent food, and surprisingly upscale for being the Sports bar. Wood fired pizza. Main restaurant was apparently closed for the season...or maybe it opens on the weekend. Beautiful main building. Nice sitting area for breakfast outside the dining area. Downstairs, there was a large private dining area which would be perfect for special events... like a rehearsal dinner. Sports bar as windows and outside seating, so it's not a cellar. Nice courtyard...fun wood bear carvings, putting green, cornhole, waterfall. Large infinity pool overlooking the lake. Two large adjacent in ground hot tubs. Overall, I got the impression the place was a tad rundown. Pine needles chocked the waterfall, some of the furnishing looked a bit old. Never could figure out how to turn on gas fireplace. The instructions were written for a replaced thermostat. Now that could have been from "end of the season" doldrums.... As I said, nothing too bad, it just needs some closer attention or a new manager or owner spending some money on the place. It would be fun to go back in the summer and try the restaurant.

Bed was squeaky and not comfortable. Both hot tubs were very dirty, when we got the courage up to try one they were broken. Called to have them fix it and they never did. Lobby and front desk were not open by 8:00 am as advertised. Continental breakfast was a joke, old apples rotten plums and some awful containers of a product called Mush (aka cold oats in goop). Staff was nice but didn’t have a clue about the area. No way to regulate room temperature…way to warm. Would I stay again, no.

I have stayed here so many times when we were real estate shopping and now live locally. We come back to Riley's Restaurant quite often, most recently for the wonderful Sunday Brunch. We love this hotel.

Absolutely loved our stay at Mountain Lake Lodge. Very easy check in. When we walked into our unit we were pleasantly surprised. Beautifully decorated and immaculate. Loved the porch with the chairs to sit outside with beautiful view of grounds. Very easy and quick ride up to Glacier National Park....

We had the most relaxing week staying here. The room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful.Great view of the lake close enough to town for services and we were able to get food delivered.

Where do I start Really outdated rooms and bathrooms Water tastes gross and looks kind of murky My husband said it was kind of slimy too Overpriced restaurant and all the areas nearby serve really mediocre pub food The views are ok but that’s about it

We had a great stay. Our room was really nice, large, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the balcony and view of the beautiful lake. We were a bit disappointed that on the night we stayed, neither restaurant was open but we found a great Italian restaurant, Old Bridge Pub, a few miles away. We had a really nice breakfast the next morning at the hotel.

We only stayed here for a night on our national parks tour but really enjoyed it. The room was so comfortable and little touches like the fireplace help to make it so. We used the pool and hot tub - what a nice view from both! And the more casual...

We only stayed here for a night on our national parks tour but really enjoyed it. The room was so comfortable and little touches like the fireplace help to make it so. We used the pool and hot tub - what a nice view from both! And the more casual restaurant attached to the hotel (Riley’s) had great food. Everyone at the hotel was very welcoming, from the front desk who let us check in a little early to a staff member who sat with us and told us all the points of interest around the area. Wish we had been able to spend more nights here!
