The Bearskin Lodge On the River has an authentic and welcoming atmosphere, which makes it a good choice for your honeymoon in the Smoky Mountains. Located in the heart of town one block from the main thoroughfare, it puts you within walking distance of all attractions but just off the beaten track. The lodge and rooms are furnished in rustic mountain style, and the friendly staff will add a touch of warmth to your visit.
You can choose a room with a balcony overlooking the creek nearby, or with city views on the other side. Rooms have fireplaces to keep you cozy in the evenings, and refrigerators and micro-waves to heat up snacks. Relax by the fire pits in the front after a long day in the mountains or after sightseeing in the city.
You can walk to most attractions, which saves the trouble of looking for parking in the city. The entrance to the National Park is just around the corner. A wonderful winter stop. Way less crowded in January and February.
Great place to stay in Gatlinburg. Next to the bypass making getting into and out of Gatlinburg much easier. Many choices of different sizes and cost of rooms. We love the Lodge look and feel of the Bearskin Lodge. The free Breakfast is always delicious and hardy.
Christmas Lights in the Smokeys
Overall a great place to stay. Clean comfortable rooms, convenient location and great staff. Everyone at the front desk was extremely helpful. The hot cider and cookies were a real treat. The great Housekeeping crew came every day and kept our room in tip top condition.

From check in to check out our stay was A++++ Great location, friendly and knowledgeable staff, extra clean rooms, comfy bedding. The lemonade and cookies were a welcome treat as we returned from a day of sight seeing. We can't wait to return!!
Excellent Stay in Gatlinburg
This is a great place to stay in Gatlinburg. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, clean, and had a comfy fireplace. The pool and lazy river were enjoyable after a long day of walking. Also, the location is on the quieter west end of town....

Bearskin has great people first and a nice facility as well. We love the balcony and the rustic furnishings. Very clean as well. Very close to great restaurants and shopping. Great Smoky Mountain park couldn't be closer. Just an ideal spot for a Gatlinburg visit.
