The Arctic Suite was amazing! Heated Koi pond right outside the front door, had the friendliest, chunky koi fish ready to greet you as you walk by. Not to brag but I’m pretty sure the smallest fish said he would be my bff. This suite is adjacent to the custom stone hot tub that is deep enough to stand in the middle and be submerged to your neck. Hot tub at 10pm with a full moon illuminating our surroundings…ummm Talk about relaxing!! My fiancé and I went for our one year anniversary. Had the entire place to ourselves, there were no other guests at the time. Very peaceful!! Wine tasting was amazing, neither of us were fond of wine but now we own a wine rack and a bottle of every wine Bear creek has to offer! Being locals born and raised on the Kenai Peninsula, it is very hard to find something new and fun to do for date nights and/or special occasions. This is a total gem and will be our first choice for our Homer stays from now on. This beats the Lands End ten fold. Especially the difference in staff. The staff at Bear Creek are absolutely amazing. They are probably the friendliest most polite individuals we have ever dealt with on a trip. If you’re looking for a little get away or an extended stay, we would fully recommend Bear Creek. Locals or tourists are guaranteed to have a great experience!! Thank you Bear Creek staff for making our stay one of the most relaxing and memorable get aways!!!

This was an amazing place to stay even in the winter, with art shops and restaurants open it was the perfect weekend getaway!! The owners were kind & wonderful, they made us feel very at home! Love the hot tub and the Koy pond it was fun watching the fish from the hot tub! We stayed in the apartment because originally we were going to have more people.. I cant wait to come stay here in the summer too! The apartment was clean and the beds were nicely made up with a tv in both the King size room and in the Livingroom. The View the first morning was beautiful and the one from the hot tub is nice too! Will defiantly stay again! already talking about a girls weekend here!

The cabin was comfy and clean. We loved the hot tub and the woodsy setting. It was a great value with complimentary wine and chocolates, cozy robes and breakfast out at Captain's Coffee. Our only regret is that we should have bought more wine to bring home!

My husband and I had an incredible time visiting and staying at this location. We had to reschedule our visit from August to September due to work and had absolutely no problems in doing so. Late September was a beautiful time to visit (officially off season) and we were the only ones staying there- which made the hot tub and hanging out by the Koi Pond that much more enjoyable! The winery itself is stunning and the wine tasting was very informative, with knowledgeable and friendly staff there to guide you through the different wines and beverages available. We look forward to visiting again in the near future!

They also provided coffee and hot chocolate along with a bottle of their berry wine and a small taste of some chocolates. We also enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting. Unfortunately the gardens were being renovated while we were there, but no big deal. The koi pond was cool. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I’m a lifelong Alaskan and this is still one of my favorite places in the state. The rooms are a little dated; however, the amenities more than make up for that! The staff are always wonderful to us, the wine tasting is always fun, the gift shop well stocked with cute items. They have a hot tub, garden trail, horseshoes, free breakfast to local restaurants, a grill and cute porch area to sit on. They offer a small fridge, and microwave with basic dining utensils and popcorn, free wine, salmon spread appetizer and chocolates from Homer Truffle Co. If you get a chance, read through their welcome book. I have learned a lot about Homer from all of the information they provide and have been able to keep myself busy each trip thanks to them. I am so thankful that this place exists!! ❤️

We had rented the Bear Creek winery apartment and cabins for our wedding weekend and it was amazing! We use the garden for our ceremony and reception. The support staff were easy and fun to coordinate with, the place had enough room to sleep all of our close friends and great amenities, and the winery is conveniently close to town. If looking to host an event at the winery, they provided tables, tents, and and MC system for music. The place is so beautiful it’s decoration on its own. The staff were easy to contact and great help on the day of and leading up to. The grounds were very private and beautiful to walk through. The decks, jacuzzi, and koi pond are very peaceful, the apartment has a panorama view of the Kachemak Bay, and the cabins were a great honeymoon spot! The apartment is very comfortable and spacious, a great place to host a group. The winery provided free wine tastings daily to guest, and vouchers for breakfast in town. While visiting Homer for our wedding, we had many guests in town, the winery was conveniently close to town, making it easy to get together with our guests and visit places around town.

Quiet location but close enough to downtown. The decor and ambiance was perfect. Bed was very comfortable. The koi pond was nice. Fell asleep on the deck just watching them. Enjoyed the wine tasting. The peach apricot is a nice flavor (seasonal wine).

Our stay of one evening was far too short! This is a charming setting, the room was perfect with many special amenities. We especially enjoyed the lovely garden and quiet setting. We will definitely stay longer next visit to Homer, AK!

We stayed 8 days in the Arctic Room, a peaceful, comfortable, clean and delightful experience. Everything was perfect, from checking in to leaving. The gardens add beauty to an already gorgeous Homer views. A refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot inside and a grill on the porch allow for cooking if desired. But why bother? The fabulous Bagel Shop is a mile away. And the Homer restaurants serve top-notch fish and other delights. Allise, a staff person, attended to our needs and laughed a lot with us. Only drawback is you need a car or frequent taxi rides. Well worth that expense to be in such a calm setting away from any crowds.

Great atmosphere and setting. We loved being there and enjoyed the sounds of nature, the pond, and of coarse the view of the bay. The bed was very comfortable and the little details of the cabin made it perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you
