Without doubt, one of the best resorts, if not THE best resort we have stayed at. From the very start everyone was so friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautifully tropical with the sounds of all the exotic birds and insects. We had the villa second from the top and it was amazing. So nice, with 2 balconies facing different directions. Breakfast was great and both the Saffron and Sands restaurant had a great choice of amazing tasty food. The private beach and pool are were very clean and nice to lie at. The sea is quite rocky and I would recommend getting some shoes for the water which you can get from the beach hut. Overall an unforgettable experience, just wow! A massive shout out to all the staff there and in particular our host Beauty. She is so friendly, down to earth and an absolute credit to this resort. Even if my boyfriend did send a lot of requests to her via WhatsApp 🤣 we will definitely be back ❤️

Beautiful place with first class accommodation. We had Royal Ocean Villa G10 which was fabulous and gave you both the sunrise and sunset. Villa was exceptional. Private pool area with jacuzzi and multiple sitting areas were great for lazing about In the hot Samui weather. Food options are a bit limited but then why would you stay in when there are som many lovely restaurant on the Island at greatly reduced prices but superior quality. And the bar! It needs a better bar area for the evenings, the Lobby bar is too sterile. Don’t be put off by the food and bar comment though, that is more feedback to the hotel which overall is excellent. I would 100% go back! Tak our villa host did a great job of booking everything for us! Transfers, restaurants etc.

Truely the best experience of my life. This places beauty cannot be matched. On arrival to departure, Anna our villa host efficiently helped us to plan our holiday. The view from the arrival lobby bar is stunning. The villas are outstanding and the cleanliness is remarkable. The buggy team helped us to travel around in the heat and waking up to the palm trees and bird call was amazing. I wish I could return and I would highly recommend to visit. Thank you to each and every member of staff who made my husbands birthday and our wedding anniversary so special and the best holiday we could ever wish for.

Definitely one of the best resorts I've ever had the pleasure to experience. The Banyan Tree Samui is located in one of the most beautiful spots on the island, and the views are magnificent. The rooms (I was in an Ocean View Pool Villa) are spectacular, and the service is impeccable. Every guest has their own "host," who looks after them every step of the way to insure their visit is perfect in every way. The restaurants are wonderful, and the facilities are as good as you'll find anywhere. Truly one of the finest resorts in the world.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect, from the comfortable rooms to the peaceful atmosphere. We especially appreciated the privacy of our villa C07, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Anna was an amazing host and took great care of everything. We also loved the yoga classes with Bikram—he is a fantastic coach, and his sessions were well-structured, relaxing, and energizing at the same time. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, his guidance makes every class a joy.

Banyan Tree Koh Samui sets high standards - and consistently delivers a luxury holiday experience. Key to this (for us) is the perfect setting on the private bay with beautiful beach - where we spent much of our ten day holiday. Jate and his team were super attentive, managing the all important loungers and cabanas, with ready supply of towels and refreshing face sprays and chilled water. Our Deluxe Pool Villa (F-09) was - as requested - very secluded and quiet with wonderfully tall palm trees. No glimpse of the sea - which we might opt for next time, if we return. Breakfasts are amazing - fantastic fresh food - wonderful fruit - and staff who are ever cheerful and helpful. Meeting the perfectly named staff member called Peach was a daily delight! The only thing that could be improved is the range and quality of food offered at Sands and Saffron restaurants - disappointingly there is no fresh fish on the menus. We took taxis to nearby Lamai for fresh grilled and baked fish. We were fortunate to have the delightful and super professional Abby as our host. She is just brilliant! Other staff who stood out were Poom at Sands restaurant, fantastic spa masseurs Nee, May and Dao. It was a real treat to be there, enjoying Thai hospitality and sunshine, and a better than the rest hotel resort.

We are so happy that we chose the BT for an amazing holiday ! A great location & a very spacious ocean view villa with wonderful views. The food was outstanding throughout our stay at both Saffron & Sands. Excellent Spa facilities together with the added bonus of a large number of activities to choose from. What made our stay extra special though were the staff who were so friendly & couldn't do enough for you. Some big thank yous to Jate & Farhad (beach & jogging), Tong & Nook (Thai kick boxing), Rang (stretching), Gigg & Eng (Sands) & Aek (pool bar). Last, but not least, a special mention & huge thank you to our wonderful villa host Beauty who looked after us so well organising all our activities at BT - nothing was too much trouble. All in all a really relaxing stay at a wonderful resort with amazing staff. We will be back!

Absolutely brilliant. My wife had to be hospitalised for a couple of days at the end of our stay, but the staff (from the General Manager through to the buggy drivers) could not have been more helpful and accommodating - rearranging villa bookings at short notice, organising new flights, sorting out my nearly maxed out cards (because of hospital bills),providing special food for my wife etc. etc. Great to see managers ‘mucking in’ to help out at busy times. A beautifully run and super-comfortable resort. 7 stars at least!

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon and had the best experience at Banyan Tree Samui. The villa accommodations and service were fantastic, and we truly felt like we were staying at a 5-star resort throughout our entire stay. We loved the different dining options, including the on-site, Michelin-rated restaurant called Saffron. The spa was also very nice. We spent an hour at the spa doing the Rainforest experience, which was very cool and a big differentiator from other hotels on the island. We also received some really great massages from our two masseuses: Lookpla and Nee. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. Beauty, our villa host, was very sweet and helped us book our spa appointments and dinner reservations with ease. We also had the opportunity to meet with Ryan, the sales director, who was very informative and professional. Our stay here was an experience we will never forget, and we would definitely stay here again!

This property is in a great location, its surroundings are beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. We had a suite, with an ocean view that was spectacular. Our suite had a swimming pool, that was just the right temperature. The bed was extremely comfortable, and several beautiful sitting areas outside. Everything we needed was there. We decided to order food from the Villa Dining menu (because we wanted to stay in), and everything was delicious. The best part was the gentleman who brought the food, and served us our dinner (his name was Boom Boom). Boom Boom treated us to fantastic service, it was better than I have found in 5* restaurants, and I have visited over 30 countries. The next morning we ate at the restaurant, and the food selection, taste, and service were superb. Everyone in the restaurant was friendly and helpful, however one server stood out from the rest, and was excellent, her name was Am. I was telling Am about our wonderful in Villa dining experience, and about Boom Boom our wonderful server. Am then surprised me by telling me, that Boom Boom was her husband. All I can say is wow! Banyan Tree knows how to hire the kind people, that will have me recommending their property to my friends and family. I highly recommend the eggs benedict with salmon, good job chef! I will be back! This hotel will forever have a special place in my heart as a result of the the lovely staff. Kind, polite, friendly and smiling, they absolutely made the trip. Stayed in room A10 (ocean view room) which is quite high up in the trees. Initially disappointed as not overlooking the bay. Nan could not have been more understanding and patient, showing us alternative options. Decided to stay put and grew to love the quiet position of our room, amazing views and the tropical birds sounds. Big shout out to Tak our lovely room host, who works so hard and makes it all look easy. Loved being being picked up by golf buggies and never had to wait long, even though the hotel was busy. Saffron was our favourite and we ate there most nights, looked after by the beautiful Osha who made us feel so special. I had a birthday during our stay and the staff pulled out all of the stops to make me feel special!
