Lovely hotel. Beautiful gardens.
We loved the hotel! The greenery and gardens are absolutely amazing. The people are very welcoming and friendly. We upgraded to a beach bungalow which was absolutely worth it - it was stunning! Pools were lovely and clean. The quiet one was our favourite but there weren’t really enough beds...
We loved the hotel! The greenery and gardens are absolutely amazing. The people are very welcoming and friendly. We upgraded to a beach bungalow which was absolutely worth it - it was stunning!
Pools were lovely and clean. The quiet one was our favourite but there weren’t really enough beds to go around.
We really enjoyed watching the kite surfing on the beach and certainly waking up early to watch an incredible sunrise.
Reason for the 4 rather than 5.
Food ok, not brilliant.
Beach - not much can be done. It’s clean and maybe it’s the time of year but not white sands and blue sea we hoped.
Location - again much can be done. Mui Ne is a little tired and needs some investment which will only come with tourism
Worth going to the Annam and Sandals Sailing club too for some variety. The Annam is beautiful and has a lovely cocktail bar. We ate at the Sandals Sailing club resort and it’s beautiful with great food and wine.

Wonderful garden, clean room, nice beach, friendly staff, good breakfast; many restaurants in the area, good and cheap food, laundry across the street, atm and shops. Gym and 2 pools.
The beach at the hotel is clean, not so in the area around.

We stayed at Bamboo Village for 3 nights, on the whole we found it acceptable. There were alot of insects, which we had expected to a degree, as we had looked at the website before booking and due to the grounds being densely planted. However, we had expected that there would be some form of repellent in the room, but sadly this was lacking apart from a mosquito net which could be used whilst sleeping. I did comment on this on the questionnaire I was given before we checked out and was advised we could have asked. It would have been easier if they had put a notification in the room, as they did with other rules to follow.
Breakfast was just about OK, lower quality food than we were expecting for a 4 star and not an extensive choice. Some mornings we struggled to find a vacant table for the 2 of us and the layout of the dining area was such that there seemed to be alot of jostling around the food trays due to the number of people.
The stay was fine overall but with some refinement could be better. I think it slight inappropriate that you are asked to fill out a questionnaire before leaving, that should be optional if customers wish to leave a review.

We loved our stay at Bamboo Village at the quiet end of a strip of low-key resorts, spa parlors and restaurants/cafes. The beach is wide, the waves usually gentle, the sea shallow for a good while. The resort is single story with generous stylish bungalows all near to the beach. The dining room serves a fantastic breakfast buffet with a wide range of choices to please the international guests. We also enjoyed dinner there every night — the food was excellent value and we could see and hear the crashing waves. Finally, the staff are friendly and accommodating, especially the food and beverage staff who were always smiling and quick to assist. We’d love to return soon! (The area is known for dragon fruit.)

We’ve stayed at Bamboo village for 3 nights and it has been excellent throughout. The staff are so friendly and helpful; the gardens and surrounding areas are beautiful and maintained exceptionally well; the breakfast spread leaves you wanting for nothing and is delicious and the facilities are excellent. Both pools are great as is the waiter service from the pools, there are sun beds on the beach if you would prefer, the gym is fit for purpose and there’s a library to swap books. We organised a sunrise tour this morning to the sand dunes through the hotel and this was great! You do need 700VND once you arrive to get a quad bike to the top but it is worth every penny! We’ve been to the Spa on 2 of the days and all treatments that we’ve had have been exceptional - 2 full body 90 minute Vietnamese massages, foot reflexology and a manicure. The spa staff were all exceptional and we cannot fault the service - thank you to Uyen for today! We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully one day we will be back - a huge thank you and well done to all staff involved in making Bamboo Village as wonderful as it is.

Beautiful hotel with two great pools and a beachside bar and restuarant, food and drinks are good quality and value. The staff do an excellent job maintaining the tropical landscape and the waiting staff are attentive and work really hard. I had two excellent full body massages with Hua Gìau who worked wonders with my battered body I would highly recommend a visit to the spa. The Spa itself is a magical environment, very peaceful, clean and comfortable. Thank you Hua Gìau I feel great!

Beach, gardens, palm trees and mountains.
Lots to love here. An open-air shower! Actually, a pull-string converts it from open to closed. Our beach bungalow in a fragrant garden was the best. We appreciated the cute coconut dipper to rinse sand off our feet. And the lady who refilled the barrel every day while rinsing salt...
Lots to love here. An open-air shower! Actually, a pull-string converts it from open to closed. Our beach bungalow in a fragrant garden was the best. We appreciated the cute coconut dipper to rinse sand off our feet. And the lady who refilled the barrel every day while rinsing salt off the lush plants.
Amazing breakfast buffet. Cheap eats for dinner right outside the gate where we felt like we could have an authentic local experience.
The spa on site cost a tad more than on the street, but A/C for my foot massage and spa pedicure at noon more than compensated.
The bottom of the adult pool needed the same level of attention given to the streams, plants, and paths. Its grout was dirty.
Plenty of beach loungers under large, round thatch roofs. Unsightly as they are, the giant worm-like beach guards help against further erosion. Often the surf was too rough to allow swimming, but it calmed for a while each day of our stay and we enjoyed the gentle slope of the sandy bottom and bobbing in the waves.
I never saw the jellyfish that stung me, but we had heard they were around and knew to go for help. Security was prepared with white vinegar and homemade boiled sugarcane syrup. It’s still itchy a week later.
At first, the busy crabbers and fishermen encroached on the relaxed esthetic of a resort, but soon we came fascinated by their work.

The resort was very beautiful, with a rustic charm and exceptionally well managed. The food was great and the view from the restaurant was awesome. Very spacious room and washroom, with a small porch outside- it was perfect and very romantic. The service was very good, especially the check in process as each guest was serviced individually at the resting lounge with very refreshing cool tea. The sea was warm and the overall experience was beautiful. The breakfast was great too.
The only thing, we could hear rats/rodents in the ceiling above and the hotel management tried to remove it.. but neither them nor us could find it. After awhile, it fled probably. A truly bamboo village experience.
