Where do i start from the moment we were picked up from another island we felt special.The captain Faariz had spotted a big pod of dolphins so going in the opposite direction he went out of his way to follow them.When we arrived we were greeted by drums and staff on the jetty. Our personal host for the week was Saajid who whisked us off on a buggy for a tour of the island then checked us in once we were in our room.Nothing was too much trouble and he organised all our dinners for us.We stayed in a beach villa on the sunset side which was beautiful and the bathroom just wow.Ibbe our room cleaner was brilliant and always kept it spotless.The fushi cafe restuarant was brilliant for breakfast a good variety of food and a shout out to Priyantha, Maif,Raj ,Sobah,Gillu,Sajer and especially Tippu. The Aqua bar is definetly worth a visit for lunch or dinner italian was lovely.Disni and Muzach really look after you.The fire salt ice restuarant is definetly one to go to and try and get a table by the sea. food is unbelievable big shout out to Muzaah who really looked after us on our anniversary. A visit to the cocktail bar is a must Don the mixologist is a legend and if we had more time we would of definetly done a cheese and wine tasting with him as his knowledge is exceptional.The thai restuarant the food unbelievable and try and get a table by the rocks as the resident turtle likes to come out and say hello.Yok,Maath and Tippu are wonderful. A special mention has to be given to the marine biologists Ory and Elias.The knowledge and passion they have for the conservation of the sea and wildlife is contagious.Elias took my husband snorkelling over at picnic island (which is worth a visit as Ehis and sancho will look after you)at the tiki bar.Ory and Elias even came to find us to say goodbye on our day of departure. Watersports are great we tried seabobs which were brilliant fun and Ahmed and Anees were always on hand to help. We went over to the adults only island vili and had some lunch and also got to look at a villa on the private island opposite which the wonderful Joker sorted for us.The island is gorgeous and definetly worth thinking about if you want complete privacy. Pankaj food and bevarage manager of all 3 islands was a joy to talk to and he should be very proud of the good staff he has got. A special mention to the people that work so hard and were always ready for a chat Seda,Zahid,Monette,Usmann,Dhaish and Xavier.Simah that my husband spoke to every morning in reception was so lovely. I would reccomend this island for the variety of restuarants and the staff.You can see other islands in the distance in some places so if your after a remote location this might not be the place for you but if like me you feel more content knowing that other places are close by then it doesnt take away from the beautiful scenery. My big tip for going would be to try and find out what events they have on in the evenings as we were too late to book some as in a bob marley event on picnic island and a beach bbq on veli island.

The experience in general was the very best. The islands and facilities are amazing. We stayed in an overwater villa with private pool. It was truly magical. Kadir really made our stay a special one, taking into consideration it was our anniversary. Everything was incredible and felt like a dream

The hotel is beautiful, good food (delicious breakfast), nice staff, but the best thing is to be assisted by Ram! He is incredible and will make sure everything is perfect for you! Very good for kids or couples. I will definitely come back!!!

The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever experienced. Saboodh gave us a very personalized experience and his dishes were phenomenal. Estee at the Spa gave the most memorable massage. It was the most relaxed I have felt in decades. Do visit this heaven on earth!!!

Stayed in Dhigu in February 2025 to relaxe and recharge - best decision we could make! Wonderful resort with pristine water (probably the best we've seen in the Maldives so far) and lots of underwater life. Really great restaurant options make sure you don't leave hungry (we liked Origami and Sea.Fire.Salt most, but there's not real any restaurant you would want to miss). We felt welcome from the first to the last minute by the whole staff. Thank you especially to Ram, who made sure we really weren't missing anything, and to Mando, who really took great care that our villa was perfect during our stay.

We have visited Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort seven times, with our most recent stay in February 2025. Our experience allows us to highlight two major changes: 1. We continue to appreciate the diverse dining options, numerous activities, and the charm of the private villas. The attentive staff remains a strong positive. However, compared to our previous visit, we noticed a significant increase in the cost of certain services, including the spa, dining, and water sports activities. 2. We were disappointed by the decline in services around the swimming pool. In the past, complimentary offerings such as fruit, water, cold towels, and regular cleaning were provided daily with great hospitality. Unfortunately, this year, these services were absent. That said, the resort’s elegant accommodations and impeccable cleanliness continue to impress. The stunning scenery, serene beaches, and welcoming atmosphere further contribute to an enjoyable experience. Overall, we loved our vacation, with no major surprises—aside from the increased costs. Hasnaa provided exceptional support and assistance around the clock with kindness and respect. The resort is fortunate to have her on its team. One additional observation, unrelated to the hotel, is the ongoing construction around the island. Many new islands have emerged, featuring large buildings and high-rise structures, which is unfortunate for the beauty of this stunning lagoon!

A perfect family holiday experience at Anantara Dighu, a tropical paradise in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The experience is superb, not only because of the white sand beaches, turqoise-colored sea, lush-green jungle, but most importantly the people who are working here are amazing. The staff at the Fushi café restaurants showed great personality. I manged to play football at the resort staff island with guests and staff. I was impressed with the facility and most report do not have a full size 4G astro trauf pitch. I ended in the wining team and scored three goals. The entertainment co-ordinator Joker was great. Villa host Abdul Kadir was extremely helpful during my stay and Anwer from Gulhi Island was very friendly.

The speedboat transfer was smooth and scenic, and we were warmly welcomed by Hasnaa, who made us feel at home and gave us a wonderful tour of the resort and island. Her hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Our Beach Villa was stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and just steps from the crystal-clear waters. The highlight of my trip was parasailing, an incredible experience with breathtaking views of the turquoise ocean. The dining was exceptional—especially Sea.Fire.Salt for perfectly cooked steaks and the overwater Baan Huraa for authentic Thai cuisine. The Anantara Spa was pure relaxation with ocean views and soothing treatments. Perfect service, luxury, and paradise all in one.
