Reviews of 360 Boutique Hotel
This was our last stop on our Iceland trip. Anna was very attentive and welcoming. Felt like we were guest at their home. Food was excellent tasty and fresh. We were 3 couples and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect for our day trips. Views were amazing.
Cozy place, amazing food, the best doggos!!!

Love love love 360 Hotel in Mosato, Iceland!!! We stayed for 2 nights and we did not want to leave! The owner was very nice and courteous. As we walked in, the place was very clean and cozy. We were greeted with the warmest welcome by the best hotel employees ever, aka the 2 doggos!!! These 2 dogs are absolutely beautiful, clean , and have the sweetest disposition.
That’s why I’m so confused when I saw some previous guest rating this place 1 out of 5 stars and even questioning the validity of the other 5 stars on here?!?! But I guess when you demand a refund and you don’t get one then you could be bitter but unfortunately small family owned businesses such as this hotel can negatively be affected by that.
So I’m gonna share my honest review of this facility during our stay on 9/11 and 9/12 and wished we didn’t have to leave to see the rest of the country bec this hotel truly felt like home to us. And trust me, we’re very picky when it comes to our lodging when we vacay. We always pick the best that the area can offer and 360 Hotel fits that. It has that charm to it; nothing fake or forced. You just fit right in.
On both nights we were there, there were high probability of seeing the Northern Lights but the room we had didn’t face north so the owner was kind enough to offer me the unoccupied room across the hall to walk through and use its patio to check for Northern Lights. That made it so much more convenient for me and sure enough, we saw the Northern Lights on both nights bec this hotel’s location is perfect for viewing.
And oh my goodness, let’s talk about their food. Awesome variety for breakfast which already comes with the hotel cost (they even had green juice!); love how everything is nicely labeled on their breakfast buffet. DO NOT miss dinner! Their chef does an incredible job preparing quality food, great presentation, but most importantly really yummy from start to finish. I had the best salmon and halibut there; cooked to perfection. My husband enjoyed their lamb filet. And the bread they serve during dinner was soooo good!
One of the dogs actually stayed the night in our room which made my husband and I very very happy. We had the patio door open to the outside and the dog still stayed close to us until we finally got out of bed. We didn’t want to leave.
Other details worth mentioning: soundproof room, heated floors it seem, comfy slippers, and toiletries smell good.
Looking forward to going back to Iceland so we can stay here again at 360 Hotel and be reunited with their beautiful and sweetest dogs.

Nice rooms, very good, sufficient breakfast, hospitable, helpful owners, quiet, good views. Could be kept up better in thermal area and area around hotel had some things lying around but maybe temporary. Overall a good place to stay but maybe not at the price

My wife and I just returned from 10 days in Iceland. We spent our first two nights at the delightful 360 Boutique Hotel and it proved to be a big highlight of our visit to this miraculous place. The hotel is beautifully appointed in a Neo-industrial design, with every room facing onto breathtaking views of the valley and distant volcanic mountains. The ambience is relaxed yet attentive. Hiking trails abound and the location is a great jumping off point to a tour of the Golden Circle. Anna, our hostess, could not have been more charming and knowledgeable. From her (a renowned horsewoman) we learned about the great Icelandic horse culture. The food was top notch and locally sourced (e.g. the cod and lamb offerings, as well as locally grown greens.) The owners' Icelandic sheep dogs are a pure delight. Tinna, the granddaughter of the pair, practically moved into our room, much to our pleasure. And finally Anna and her husband hooked us up with our driver, Carl, who became our most valued guide for our tour of Reykjavik a week later. For sophisticated travelers looking for an authentic, laid back experience, this is a sure bet.

The two dogs were awesome. One greeted us as we arrived and followed us into our room. The other one kept shepherding all of us around the table at breakfast! Very sweet, friendly pups.
The thermal pools and hot tub were nice and hot. They do have some natural algae floating around and were a little slippery but so nice to soak in after a long day of travel.

This accommodation is a bit off the beaten path and north of Selfoss, but so glad we found it! The hosts and their four-legged employees, Icelandic sheepdogs, were lovely and kind. We spent three magical nights with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and fields. Breakfast was homemade and delicious as you gaze out from the dining room floor to ceiling windows. We also enjoyed two excellent farm to table dinners during our stay. Besides the overall service and the comfortable rooms, the property has spa thermal pools for guest use which are tranquil and relaxing. What a treat to walk a few steps from your room and enjoy this experience!
This was a first class experience without being stuffy or pretentious. We really felt at home and apparently, so did Tinna, the very friendly dog, who visited us often (which we enjoyed]. We highly recommend this boutique hotel and hope to visit again.

We stayed here for 2 nights and chose this hotel as it was not too far from Keflavik Airport after our 14-hour flight (about 1.5 hours drive) and it was a decent location to our next destination.
Arriving in winter, one has to look out for signs as the hotel was located up a hill and you could easily miss the snowy road and wonder if you took the correct turn. Upon arriving, we were quickly checked in and loved the whole vibe of the hotel.
It was rustic and charming with all rooms on the same level as the reception and dining area. There was a lot of trust as some guests even left their room doors open and that says a lot.
The room was cosy and the bathroom was more industrial like but had modern amenities which was sufficient for me. The bed was comfortable and the sliding doors led to an open space outside which had a lovely unblocked view.
I loved the breakfast set-up and we had all our dinners here. While it was a bit pricey, we still enjoyed the food as we could tell that the chef put in a bit of effort.
The hotel also had a spa pool which was in another building nearby but we didn't use it.
The best part were the 2 resident Icelandic sheep dog and they were relatively friendly and so beautiful.
While we didn't manage to catch the Northern Lights here despite it being rather remote up the hill, overall, we had a great stay here as it felt more like staying in someone's home rather than a commercial hotel.
Note: You can drive up to the hotel entrance to drop off your luggage first but the parking area is down the hill.

360' is a very secluded retreat, 15-20 min east of the town of Selfloss proper. Breakfast was enjoyable, as we had everything we needed to start our day. We chose not to dine at facility, since we wanted to experience the towns of Selfloss (20 min) drive) and Hveragerði (30 min drive), over our 3 night stay. Dinner choices were presented during breakfast hours (8-10am). Soup/entrée/dessert option available with 2 dinner options daily and 1 soup and 1 dessert choice. The rooms are spacious and bright, with a wall of glass including a sliding door for a full view of outdoor landscape/ small concrete outdoor patio with table and chairs for each unit on backside of property. On a down note, we were not excited to see that the indoor and outdoor thermal pools had masses of algae present about the walls and floor. IMO, The pool area is dated and needs much more attention for a total enjoyable experience. Hot tubs are private and elevated and bit further away from pools. There are two Icelandic sheep dogs, Skumba (?) and Tinna, who are ever-present and friendly. The property staff was limited to a few and many tasks are shared. Had a nice stay and would recommend for a family or couple looking for a more spread out environment with a peaceful setting. Selfloss is close by and there is life there; for those looking for a bit more exposure or dining options.

Breakfast and dinner offer good alternatives and our meals were delicious. This is a casual place. We enjoyed the warm pools. The room and shower are very comfortable and well appointed though simple. Quiet. It is quiet! We stayed two nights. Could have stayed longer and just enjoyed the peace of reading, soaking, sleeping, dining, and gazing at the land and the endless sky.

We were working our way around the ring road and originally staying at Vik, but we weren't happy with our hotel. We decided to move further west and found 360 along the way.
It is tucked away behind a Christmas tree forest, with a cold plunge, hot spring pool, and a sauna. The decor is really nice, and service was great. They also have two friendly dogs walking around the property that are fun to see. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable, as we had the best night sleep so far of our trip here (10 days in).
What really raised the bar was the food. I'm a big eater, and following a carnivore diet, so that can be challenging sometimes. Their chef totally understood the assignment and nailed it out of the park, as my wife and I had a wonderful steak dinner with very generous portions. Breakfast was included, and it was excellent, with fresh cooked eggs, bacon, and an assortment of hams, cheeses, fruits and more.
My only regret was not staying here longer.

After struggling to find it, and driving treacherous icy roads off the main highway (and we are used to winter driving), we ended up loving this place. Only about 20 rooms. Rooms are very nice, spa services were not available but the indoor hot pool was good. There were 8 ft snow drifts to get from the main building to it! Restaurant was excellent even though there were only a few guests. We lost power one morning but they managed to get breakfast out.
And the two dogs, Tinna and ???. Can't remember the other name, but Tinna (icelandic sheepdog) took a liking to us and napped in our room until the rogue raven came around. Seriously, it torments that poor dog and she went ballistic chasing it around outside. Then it just flys away until another time. And at 8AM the next morning Tinna quietly scratched on our door to come in. :)
They made us a good lunch one day and the hosts were super nice and chatty. My wife discovered cod liver oil that was available at breakfast.
Nope for me.
This place must be amazing in the summer. We highly recommend it. Good location for the Golden Road, although we were not impressed by that journey, way too many people even in February.

Outstanding boutique hotel . Wonderful views of the snowy landscape . Always looking stunning in different lights … beautifully designed hotel with communal areas but still able to sit and have a quiet drink . Managed to experience thermal spa despite the deep snow . Floor to ceiling windows . Special mention to Anna and Katerina . Anna spent time chatting to us about Iceland & the culture and food . We loved chatting to her . The beds were super comfortable . Lovely bathrooms . Bath robes & flip flops . Super clean .
The Icelandic dogs were a wonderful entertaining addition
The quality of food at breakfast and dinner was exceptional . Delicious !!
Highly recommend .
We saw the volcano eruption from our room . The hotel then had to accommodate guests from other hotels that had to be evacuated ! Unfortunately we did not see the Northern Lights but the vistas at the hotel would give you ample opportunity to see them if the conditions were right !
Great location for exploring the south Iceland sights . Very cold and snowy whilst we were there but had no problems driving ourselves around
