My husband and I loved everything about Secrets Maroma Beach! The resort was absolutely stunning, especially the beach. We tried almost all of the restaurants and we were impressed with the food and the service. Our favorites were Bordeaux and Seaside grill. The staff at Maroma Beach was excellent, especially Patricia who made sure our room was perfect, Humberto who kept our mini bar stocked with all of our favorites and a huge THANK YOU to our concierge, Roger! Roger kept us updated with daily activities, made sure we got the perfect beach cabana and was always willing to help with anything we needed. Secrets Maroma Beach is beautiful and the friendly, thoughtful staff make it the perfect vacation destination. They truly do make you feel so welcome, like you are family! ❤️

We went to Secrets for a quick 4 night/5 day get away. We arrived early Friday morning - got to the resort around 11am. We were not offered our welcome drink (not a big deal) but were told to check back in around 12/1230 as our room should be ready. It was not, checked in again around 2, and then finally it was ready at 3. That was a small disappointment as we've never not had earlier check in at a resort or been told it may be ready early to not have it be ready until 3 (standard check in time). We were falling asleep in the lobby we were so tired! Preferred and members get preference for early check in and we were neither. Otherwise, the rest of the trip was lovely. The buffet food was standard, but the a la cartes were top notch. We enjoyed all of our dinner meals and the service was excellent. The shows were outstanding as well - you could tell the quality of the performers and singers. While drinks varied slightly (not every espresso martini tasted the same), the drinks were well done with enough variety. There is only one main...

Highly recommend a bali bed for a day to have a quiet and shaded area to stay. BUT this resort seems to host a lot of conferences and a 400 person conference arrived the day we were leaving. Beach is stunning but it was too windy for us while we were there. Red flag days everyday. The beach walk is beautiful, and there is an abandoned house beside the resort but you will be kicked out of if you are found by security. Finally, Francia was our personal concierge. She was literally right outside our door in building 24 which was handy. She was lovely to deal with, and immediately helped us with any questions or requests we had. She sent a whatsapp message every morning to let us know of activities and restaurant closures for the day. The level of service from employees is what really set this resort apart.

Superb hotel. The food was excellent in every single restaurant. The beach was truly amazing. It is a daily struggle for the hotel to deal with the seaweed that washes up from the Sargossa sea but the work non stop to make sure you have the best experience. You do not have to wear a silly all inclusive wrist band which is good news. We felt the staff were brilliant, very attentive and very helpful
