We spent a very enjoyable fortnight at the Radisson on Denarau Island. Good activities programme, very friendly staff and we weren't unduly inconvenienced by the minor structural improvements being made aronyd the reception area. Good size apartment, four restaurants to choose from and a number of other hotels in walking distance if we wanted a change of scenery. Bula Bus hop on hop off service (fjd 11 daily charge) offered regular transport between hotels and the marina, with its range of shops and eateries and oat trips available to various locations. We took a round trip ferry trip out to see the islands but didnt get off. A 'Westbus' service (travelling with the locals at a very cheap general fare of fjd 1.61) was also available from the hotels or marina into Nadi (pronuounced sounds like Nahndi) which we used regularly and from there we were able to pick up express bus services (Sunbeam / Pacific - again very reasonable prices) to Sigatoka (Suva city service) and Lautoka.

More suited to family's with young children
More suited to families with children ,the pool closes at 7.30pm. The food was average and seemed to take so long to get a drink. I did enjoy the buffet breakfast and our suite was wonderful. I don't think it was worth the price but I did enjoy my stay.

The Radisson resort in Fiji is highly recommend it if you have children it’s unbelievable the facilities they have for the kids and there’s a service of child minding for parents to have a break. The staff are incredible so friendly as you would expect in Fiji !!! The only thing il say is if your an older couple u might find it a little loud and busy less quiet than other resorts we have been too were there are ltd adult only areas. For families 100% amazing !!! They are doing a lot of maintenance to the resort at the moment but in no way did that impact our stay all the staff were just so helpful genuinely kind lovely people but I’d recommend it more for families xxx Vinika

We arrived thankfully only for one night but we wanted to leave within the first few minutes. Not once did the hotel mention that half the place is under construction and there is banging , grinding , hammering etc in every corner . Parts of the pool is closed and the room we were given had such a strong mould smell (mould in the air con , vents etc ) that we asked to move room after a few hours when it was clear that the smell won’t go away. I don’t know how this hotel got 5 stars. It feels extremely budget but with a big price tag . As mentioned there is no mentioning of construction in any of the emails or hotel website. Absolutely appalling

We stayed here for 3 days after a month traveling around Australia and New Zealand. We thought it would be a great way to relax a bit before making the 30-hour trip back home.
We arrived around 8 PM after a flight delay and got our room key fairly quickly. We got to our room, only to find twin beds rather than the king we requested. We were tired and felt grubby, and this was not how we thought this final leg of our vacation would start. It took about 30 minutes for housekeeping to arrive to remake it to the king. In addition, the blanket they gave us was not long enough; it didn't even cover our shoulders (unless we wanted our feet exposed). I assume it was meant for a twin bed, not a king
On our first night, the internet was painfully slow. My husband tried for 15-20 minutes to get onto ANY web site and finally gave up. He even disabled the VPN hoping it would work, but it didn't. He actually had better luck using the neighboring Marriott network. However, we found that the wifi worked well in the wee hours of the morning when few people are using it.
We wanted to get some Fiji money from the resort's ATM since we had none. To withdraw $60, it would have cost an additional $90 in fees! We actually thought we were reading it wrong, but we weren't. I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous even for a resort! We found an ATM in town later that day that was far more reasonable.
On our first full day, we left the resort at 8:30 AM and returned after 2 PM, only to find the room not serviced. A minute later (before we even put down our things), housekeeping knocked to clean the room, so we left. We went to the pool and returned around 3:45. Bed was not made, towels not refreshed. I called housekeeping and told them to please just bring towels (2 of everything). Since we needed to shower for dinner, I was not concerned about the bed being made. About 20 minutes later, we were brought 2 bath towels. No hand towels, no washcloths, no bath mat. I asked the man to get me the rest, which he did. However, one of the washcloths was so worn that it had holes. That is unacceptable in a hotel of this caliber.
One final thing to note is that the bathroom sinks (ours and those of several people we were traveling with) drained extremely slowly. We all reported it the first day but the hotel did nothing about it.
The grounds were beautiful but were lacking decent signage. For example, it took far longer than necessary to find the elevator when checking out. In addition, there were few bathrooms/toilets other than in the room. That's not often convenient when you're at the pool. And I saw only 2 trashcans in the whole complex.
Check out was difficult due to billing errors. We were with a group of 16, and most of us were billed for things we never purchased.
The only positive aspect of this resort is that there was an adults-only area for breakfast and an adults-only pool.
In general, we were really disappointed in this resort.
