The Venetian and Palazzo's new rewards system SUCKS! We used to be members of their old system and were treated AMAZING. This time around we hadn't gotten into the new rewards system and were not treated kindly. Not only did they start charging for parking, it was 20 dollars a day. When I asked about it, the human at the front desk all but laughed at me telling me that I was the lowest level of rewards and that he wouldn't do anything about the parking. They also dont have a fridge for you to put things in, and won't allow coolers. They also charged us for snacks that we didn't even touch or eat. Needless to say, we didn't spend as much money in the casino like we usually do because of the awful service! We will not be going back to the Venetian or Palazzo ever! I do not suggest anyone else stays there either.

Spectacular hotel but the bottom line rules!

The Venetian Resort is gigantic. Very impressive yet somewhat dated decor. The size of our room was generous and inviting. The bathroom - not so much. The shower is a senior’s nightmare. .. small, slick floor and no safety features. Housekeeping was great. Missed a coffee maker and free bottled water. Happy to sell you a bottle for $4-10 in lobby stores. Restaurants were crowded and without a pre planned reservation forget it!
My biggest complaint was the $170 resort fee for 3 nights. This fee is simply a profit add on for the hotel. I really resented paying it when room charges are already in the upper range. Hotels shouldn’t be allowed to add this resort fee for whatever mysterious benefits it may claim to provide. I wonder if the public could refuse to pay the frivolous charges encountered. Unless you are starving or parched severely don’t touch the minibar in the room. The rules are ridiculous and the hotel should discontinue this archaic practice.
All this said, the folks at the hotel are helpful and friendly. The experience was better than most. Las Vegas has changed over the bears. It is an expensive destination, so plan accordingly. No $10 buffets anymore. But, it is a fun and exciting place to visit. Just plan ahead! And the Venetian is like a self contained city- something for everyone.

Roomy and convenient Hotel!
Availed of the hotel+Sphere package thru VIB and it was really convenient. Walked to the Sphere even if the bridge was closed (due to a convention). Still the closest (Vegas-wise) to get to the venue. Check-in was a bit tricky as the "express" check-in still has a line. Check-out is...
Availed of the hotel+Sphere package thru VIB and it was really convenient. Walked to the Sphere even if the bridge was closed (due to a convention). Still the closest (Vegas-wise) to get to the venue. Check-in was a bit tricky as the "express" check-in still has a line. Check-out is just kiosk style so no hassle. Plenty of choices for food, without need to leave the premises, especially in May when it is already 110F in Vegas.

The Venetian is a wonderful, magical hotel. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. However, what makes the Venetian special are the staff - the housekeepers are always welcoming me as I walk down the hallways, the casino cocktail waitresses are fast and accommodate my drink requests. And, if you are fortunate enough to be granted access to the VIP lounge (near the check in lobby), I hope you get to experience the amazing hospitality of BOTH Tony Iannotti as well as Tyler. These two gentleman answered all my questions about the hotel and restaurants available in this massive complex as well as offering valuable "insider" suggestions about what to see and do outside of The Venetian. Tyler and Tony seemed to genuinely care that my wife and I had a memorable time during our short stay. We will be back!

My wife and I have been to the Venetian/Palazzo over 30 times in the last 10 years. Our last trip was the best, thanks to the superb work of the staff and new ownership!
Apollo and Vici have breathed new life into the property, which was always one of the best in Las Vegas, and is now a jewel at the top. The staff has never been more hospitable, the restaurants and bars offer spectacular food and libations (more are coming, and already there's so much from which to choose), the gaming has been enhanced, the rooms are redecorated and refreshed, the pools and clubs are diverse and fun -- while we walk the Strip daily, one never has to leave to have a great stay.
One of the better improvements has been in communications. Once checked in, they'll text you so you know any wish or question is just a text away.
While we love many, many bars and restaurant, a special shout out goes to Wakuda, whose bar and dining room can't be beat. Everything is so innovative, beautiful, clean and fresh that we visit at least once daily.
Kudos to staff and management! We look forward to returning several times again this year!

SMOKEY, slow, crowded, and dark. We will not be back.

We will never go back to the Venetian.
The check in line was wrapped about 4 times. We did mobile check in, and the line was shorter there. But we still
had to wait over 20 minutes to get a room key.
The main floor smelled like an old ashtray and was so smoke filled that my eyes would pour water every time we walked through. Apparently my eyes are sensitive to cigarette smoke, although I wasn’t aware of that since
I am never in smoke filled enclosed spaces. We went through several other large hotels with casinos and notice that the smoke smell was much less prevalent to non-existent.
The walkways on the main floor were narrow, and thus crowded. It was a human traffic jam every single time.
Our room was very dark. We upgraded to a Sphere view, but could only see the Sphere if we stood right at the window and looked out to the right.
The pool complex was beautiful, but there was only one pool waitress so we had zero service and had to go and get all of our own drinks.
The bed was comfortable and housekeeper was amazing. We liked having many restaurants in the resort, and being connected to the Sphere.
We will return to Vegas, but not to the Venetian.

Some parts great, some parts just okay...

Stayed in a suite at the Venetian as part of a package deal with Eagles tickets at the Sphere. Location of hotel was very convenient (we used the monorail next door many times). The amount of stores and restaurants were also very convenient as we did not have a car.
The room itself was just okay. You could smell smoke (not sure if previous guests smoked in the room or if it just came up from the casino). The lighting in the bathroom was extremely dim. No cups in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was nice though.
No refrigerator/microwave was unfortunate as we would have loved to have been able to save and reheat leftovers from dinner. It was confusing to navigate the hotel and unclear on how to get anywhere - signage was useless...but we found this to be similar all over the strip. We actually commented several times to each other that if there was ever a fire it would be next to impossible to find your way out of the place.
Overall stay was fine but for the money you pay we expected a lot more.

Beware the Construction NOISE

It didn't happen on the first day, so we unpacked, but days 2-5 were an entirely different story. Should have asked for a large discount on our stay when we checked out..

Beautiful hotel, but; check in process was very cold and uninformative. The person checking us in did not inform us of the Prestige room check in service nor that we could go there to wait for our room to be ready. Instead, she had us sit in the casino with our luggage for 4 hrs. That's a bit frustrating especially when we were charged $170/day for that as an upgraded service.
1. Need to improve service, especially at front desk.
2. Difficult to find rooms.
2. The focus seems to be - gouge the customer for Room, Food and Presitige lounge.
Too many other reasonable places to stay without getting ignored and ripped off.

The hotel has a depressing vibe. We saw drunk bouts, people restrained by security, a person strapped to a gurney and the whole hotel smells of smoke. The rooms lack basic amenities like coffee machines or microwaves. The whole experience felt cheap and seedy.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and we had a great view of the Sphere. We enjoyed having breakfast by the pool and at Sugarcane.
We enjoyed their shopping center and restaurants along their indoor canal, and unlike the Bellagio there were places to sit.
The Casino floor was a bit smoky at times, but this was not a problem in cocktail bars like Sala 118.
We went on a tour while we were there, and it was a little tricky finding the pick up spot under the convention centre.
Overall a fun, clean and comfortable place to stay.
