Very helpful and friendly staff at the front desk, to ask questions to and get any help. A shout out to Cornelius, who was friendly and helpful to us all the time and was the first person we saw just about every day. Fantastic location to Main Street and right on the beach.

Had a great weekend getaway with my husband! Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean. The oceanfront king suite also has a roomy jetted tub in the bathroom! Great view from the balcony. “Coach” helped us right to our car when it was time for us to check out!

Nice clean facilities and friendly staff. Oceanfront views are epic in nature..parking was very adequate and adjacent to the main facility. The beach and ocean are just a stone's throw away with very white traditional beach sand that's legendary.

Beautiful resort; always clean, pleasant staff, great food and beautiful smiles throughout the resort. Avista always gives of the best and we co time to come back and stay with them yearly. Awesome restaurant with delicious food. Love you Avista

This review is for Luis at the Treetop Lounge. He makes sure your happy with whatever is served to you whether it be food or drinks. He also makes you feel very welcome! It’s so nice to be able to stay within the resort to for food and drinks! I might add, we got “snowed in” while we were here too. We’ll be back next year!

The bed was comfortable, the appliances worked, and the housekeeping staff was accommodating. Bryan was extremely helpful at check-in. The check-in desk staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The facility is clean and the amenities are very good.

Great play to stay. Very clean room and our room had everything we needed, kitchen, washer and dryer, balcony overlooking ocean was excellent. All of the staff were great. The man in the loading dock to help with luggage named Coach was very nice and courteous.

We stayed at this resort for just one night and thankful that's all it was. The check in process was okay, and our room was ready at 3 pm when we arrived and we appreciated that. We were on the 8th floor in the North Tower and we had a nice ocean view. However, the way the building is built, any noise from the pool area or hot tubs echo all over the building and we could hear every conversation going on in the hot tubs even though we were on the 8th floor. Didn't love the layout of the unit, in that we had a window and an ocean view, but the way the unit is built, there is no window in the bedroom. Liked the bath products , and plenty of towels in the bathroom. The worst part of the night was when we both woke up at 1 am because people were setting off fireworks on the beach! I know the property can't be responsible for what happens on the beach in the middle of the night, but still it was upsetting. I think the best thing about this property is it's right on the beach. Other than that, not a huge fan of this property.

The Avista is our favorite place to stay in N Myrtle Beach, SC. Beautiful & well-maintained oceanfront condos have spectacular views. A vast array of amenities are available on site. Various food & beverage options include in/season poolside bar. The excellent restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, & dinner.

Entire staff concentrates on improving your stay any way possible. Facility was clean throughout. I will stay here again. One drawback is the parking deck acroos the street. Spaces are very tight. Other than that, excellent resort to stay at.

We stay here often, so no surprise of a great review. Every time we stay it is amazing. Great rooms. Awesome staff. Coach is like an uncle that you enjoy seeing every time. Always have a nice hot shower. Love the quite hours. Looking forward to my next stay.

The resort was clean and well maintained. It was within walking distance of Main St, with some places to eat and shop. Staff was pleasant. Being a smoker I always book a room with a balcony. There was no smoking allowed on the balcony. We didn’t love that. The walls are pretty thin and we heard everyone that went down the hallway. There is a rule that it’s quiet time after 10:00pm., that was not the case. People were screaming from one balcony to the other all night. They were dumping liquids off the balcony above us, which got all over me. I reported it to the desk but it still continued. People were shining laser pointers and bright lights onto our balcony as well. A lot of kids running around with no supervision. I have definitely stayed at worse places but this place isn’t somewhere I would purposely stay again. It’s a shame because it has the potential to be great, if the staff held people accountable to the rules.

Pretty crappy when I go to the Tree Top Lounge and the bartender gets in trouble for letting me order a drink and wait on my entree from the restaurant so I can take my food back to my room. That is why I go to the bar. I overheard the conversation that was made to the bartender that he was getting fussed at because I didnt go to main restaurant to order an entree. Louis is an awesome bartender and has been every evening. I could tell by his answers on the phone because I was right there. Leave them alone. Some of us dont want to go to restaurant we want to wait on food while having a drink (which inceases your sales). Let people order WHATEVER they want at the bar and leave the bartender alone. Especially when you dont have working air conditioning right now and he is roasting along with customers. Not to mention in our the tvs arent smart tvs and couldnt use a roku and dvd player doesn't work and we rented a movie for nothing. I have been comkng here for YEARS and always love staying here but alot of things need updating.

Great service all around. Beach acess was perfect. Food and drinks were reasonable, bartenders had great energy and attitudes even though they were busy. Views were fantastic! We really enjoyed the live music on Saturday night. Would like to have seen the band every night.

If you download the app you could have your key card electronically instead of having a physical card this also allows you to skip going to the front desk BUT the electronic card only works about 5% of the time on the door and about 0% of the time for the garage. Speaking about the garage it’s across the street from the hotel and no one really mans the entrance gate so when your card doesn’t work you’re kinda just stuck there until it does work. Also the parking garage is SOO TIGHT! same way to enter and exit ONE car at a time and if your car doesn’t have good turn radius good luck when the garage is packed at night. The staff is extremely helpful though! They are so sweet! Bryan thank you for lugging us back and fourth to the parking garage! Hotel room was pretty average. Room cleaning was not the best. We once throw a towel on the floor and room cleaning hung it up and on the second day our bed wasn’t made (no personal items were on the bed) and they left a stack of towels on the bathroom counter and not folded where the towel would go.. if you like sleeping with the fan on or sleeping in a room with constant air circulation, there ain’t none here. There’s a lot of cons to talk about but the room was cold, the view great!, lots of activities to do at the hotel, and easy maintained access to the beach. Overall pretty average experience for Myrtle I guess. I didn’t think to take any photos durning my stay. Wasn’t even going to write a review until someone mentioned leaving a review.

The resort is A1 and would recommend it to family and friends. This was our second visit and we'll be staying again in the future.

Our room was great, having made service every day was a plus I had not expected. A buffet breakfast was included, the staff was super friendly and helpful.
