At the heart of Downtown Asheville is Kimpton Hotel Arras, an upscale hotel that allows you to assimilate into the thriving city while still being able to enjoy sensational views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The boutique hotel is located within The Arras, the tallest building in Asheville and an iconic aspect of the city’s skyline. Two on-site restaurants – Bargello and District 42 – provide the ideal ambiance for enjoying a flavorful meal and craft cocktails. High ceilings throughout the hotel’s public spaces enhance the bright, airy atmosphere that serves as a perfect contrast to the active city it’s located within.
Three unique suites – King Suite, Executive Suite, and Mountain View Executive King Suite – all offer floor-to-ceiling windows and original works from local artists. The rooms themselves are works of art as well, with minimalist oak furniture and marble bathrooms combining for a modern, elegant look. Comfort is key, with plush furniture and spacious rooms up to 750 square feet allowing you to retreat from the high-energy city for a quiet, romantic evening. The higher floors of the hotel offer the most spectacular views of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, which even Asheville natives can’t get enough of.
Once you step out of the Kimpton Hotel Arras to explore the city that your room has offered an unparalleled view of, the staggering quantity of restaurants, shops, breweries, music venues, and museums will guarantee a memorable visit. Asheville regularly ranks among the best cities in America for art lovers, and you’ll find yourself at the absolute perfect location for enjoying it all, with dozens of galleries allowing you to step in and watch the artists create in real time. Bucolic nature surrounds the city on all sides, and a relaxing hike or stroll is never far away thanks to a plethora of parks and arboretums.

Great hotel, enjoyed the stay. Quentin at the valet gave us excellent service. Restaurants were really nice, a lot of fun stuff walking distance from the hotel. Clean rooms, comfy beds, nice Mountain View. Will definitely be back in the summer.
Birthday Weekend Perfection
Location, room, view all perfect! Great common areas around lobby and bar. Layout of room and bathroom very functional, big room. Room was well cleaned and maintained. Arrived in the snow, valet parking was helpful. Everything downtown walkable from hotel.
The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and it was in a good location. We were disappointed with the bar closing at 9pm on a Friday night. No coffee and Tea amenities in the room and the breakfast is expensive with limited choice. For close to $400 a night...

Friendly, efficient staff. Easy check in and out. Room was large, well furnished and appointed, with a great view of the city and mountains through floor-to-ceiling windows. Elegant lobby and bar. Easy walking location in downtown. Complaints. Don't serve $10/bottle wine at the social hour in a $600/night hotel.

Fabulous hotel. Stayed over the 4th July in the middle of our road trip across the US. It was one of the nicest places we stayed. Room was lovely with a view of the fireworks. Staff were excellent, although service at the restaurant was a little slow. The only real disappointment we had here were dogs. The hotel obviously allows and even encourages them, but when dogs are left alone they bark. Despite contacting reception several times it took a couple of hours for them to sort it.

Great service, easily the most attentive staff and valet service we’ve encountered in a while. Walking distance to everything in downtown and really enjoyed saying hello to the well-behaved dogs also staying here. Well appointed rooms, and ask for the foam pillows!
We sprang for the luxury suite mountain view, and boy, was it worth it. We have spent more money for much less satisfaction in the past. This is a great hotel in a great location with wonderful breakfasts, a friendly and professional staff, beautiful views, comfy beds, and terrific service....

Perfect location, beautiful rooms, helpful and friendly staff
Walk everywhere, but you might not want to leave the beautifully appointed room! Restaurants, shops, and galleries are all a short walk away. The hotel is staffed with courteous and knowledgeable professionals. We travel a LOT, and this hotel is one of my all time favorites.

The backdrop of the buildings both at night and during the day against the lush greenery was lovely. ‘Social Hour’ was great because there was plenty of seating both inside and out. Gotta say Kimpton is my new favorite hotel. My first choice in the future.

This hotel is gorgeous and truly in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere so easily. Staff embodies everything I love about Kimpton. A little curt communication prior to our stay was completely turned around at check in. Hope helped us at the front desk and was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Valet guys were professional and thoughtful as well. Trusted them completely to take our vehicle. Garage is offsite and shared with the AC Hotel. There are two EV spots and they plug in for you. Kimptons are pet friendly and do not charge when you bring your fury family. I fully support this as my fur children are quieter, cleaner, and more well behaved than most human children. Thank you Kimpton! Lobby is stunning with too many interior design details to describe. I loved the seating nook across from the front desks with records. You can enjoy a local beer or glass on wine on the house from 5-6 nightly. Complimentary coffee and tea in the mornings too with all the add ins (almond milk too). Kimpton extras! This property has two restaurants/bars and both on the first floor. Italian themed and lovely. All pasta made in house daily! They offer delicious breakfast options too (and fresh squeezed OJ). Our room was gorgeous with mountain views. Decor was modern, thoughtful and unique. Room was very clean. Another note is that most furniture went to the floor or was backed against a wall which eliminates places for pets to hide. Thoughtful! I would stay here again thanks to great service received on property.
