Trey was great on the wine tasting and tour! We went for our anniversary and had a fantastic time. We had the chance to sample 5 of their wines at their winery and got to see the process of how it was all made. Trey had some great jokes on the tour and we’d love to come back again!

Trey was awesome!!! Very knowledgeable and witty. He kept the jokes coming, definitely had more than enough laughs! Also got great recommendations on what wines to drink with certain meals. Give em a raise ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂 cheers

Very informative and nice personality. Friendly and great experience. Would definitely come back. I learned how wine is made from grapes to bottles. Love the room and the area. Trey was a great host and tour guide. I want to have my wedding here.

My wife and I went to Chateau Elan the weekend of 02/22/25 and it was nothing short of exceptional. Driving on to the property you’re met with a gorgeous view of “the castle” flanked on either side by the muscadine vineyards. Just a heads up that building directly in front is where the tasting room, the Marc restaurant and the winery tours are. The building to the right is the Inn and the one to the left is Hampton Inn & Suites. When we pulled up to The Inn, we were promptly and warmly greeted by the valet team who directed us to the check in desk and offered to take our bags in as well. The concierge/front desk staff was very professional and knowledgeable of the entire facility. We were offered champagne at the front desk which we thought was a classy touch to the check in process. Other things of note inside of the lobby area include their coffee shop and gift shop, both situated directly across from the concierge desk, and bathrooms just behind that. Two restaurants, Versailles and Louis House of Bourbon are across the atrium. I feel like this a good time to mention just how beautiful the property is. We have been in plenty of hotels from the top Disney hotels down to roadside motels and Chateau Elan is easily in the top 5 hotels for us. The rooms are clean, the restaurants and common areas are kept clean and the staff was great. Mind you, we went in February when the vineyards were dormant. I can only imagine how beautiful the property will be when we go in the spring and summer months. While everything was enjoyable and top notch during our stay, the star of Chateau Elan to us was definitely the winery tour and tasting room experience. Trey, our winery tour guide, was absolute class. It was nothing like I thought it was going to be. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wine made at CE as well as just wine in general. He made the extra effort to engage with everyone and presented the information in a fun and accessible way. I personally knew very little about wine, what it takes to make it, and the proper process of tasting and trying wine (the 4 S’s as he put it). Not only did I learn a lot during the hour tour, but I also felt like I had the right tools to go out and explore the world of wine and find one that’s best for me. In addition to our tour guide, the entire staff at the tasting room were also incredible. It was pretty busy on Saturday night and a fairly lively atmosphere, but at no point did I see any of the staff members seem overwhelmed. As a former service employee and hospitality manager I was truly impressed with the level of teamwork they exhibited. Another stand out staff member for us was Joanna. She was extremely kind and gave us recommendations that were on the money for both me and wife’s differing palates. *bonus tip* if you get the tasting room ticket (highly recommended) go Sunday late morning or early afternoon. There was hardly anyone there and you really get a chance to pick the staff’s brain and appreciate their knowledge. I can’t wait to go back to Chateau Elan and that is in no short part due to the professionalism and southern hospitality shown by the staff. I can’t wait to see the property in the spring in all its glory and try the other activities they have there (we were told there are basketball courts, pickleball courts and bikes for rent in addition to the spa and golf courses they have there).

Beautiful property and grounds. They have a few restaurants/pubs on site. They offer wine tastings, Bourbon tastings, cornhole and spa facilities on site. There are also great areas for picture taking. The rooms are decent, nothing overly spectacular. SPA: Clean locker area, has hot tub, steam room, sauna, quiet room, most areas are co-ed except for changing area. I received a 50 min couples massage. It was more like a spectacular "rub down". Not much pressure and not long on any area. I still need another massage. They do give you a complimentary glass of champagne and all the staff were courteous. MARC: Chop House on property was nice. Live music was on site the night we dined and the food was very good. Server was courteous and attentive. LOUIS BAR: SERVICE SUCKS! Jennifer the bar server was rude, not attentive... we stood at bar for 13 minutes without being acknowledged at all. It was giving "racist" energy! We were going to leave when a gentleman named Lenier (I think) helped us and was very pleasant. SARAZEN: Nice establishment, comfort food, within the Elan Estates golf course area. Great customer service. BILLING: Be prepared to be hit with extra resort fees, service charges, taxes and gratuity on top of your actual folio

Trey was such an amazing tour guide! I Will definitely be coming back. This was my first time at a winery and he made my experience rememberable. I would recommend this for couples, friend groups, and anyone else who likes to have a good time and enjoy wine.

I travel a lot for business and book a lot of trips, and Maddie is, by far the BEST I've ever worked with. She offered suggestions for the itinerary when I was uncertain how & when to schedule activities, dining, and Spa treatments for the wedding couple. She was incredibly patient with me while we discussed all the option over the phone. She made sure my every concern was addressed and handles everything with the utmost care.
