We had a great time and a very nice hotel experience. Even though the hotel needs a renovation, (which they are closing this May for 9 months or more for renovation), it has been very well maintained. If I may suggest, here it goes: 1) more pool laughing beds. 2) the step that goes to the beach from the adults area it is too high and should have at least an additional one, it is needed for the old people. 3) Kitchens are far or small and food takes too long to be delivered and sometimes gets to the customer cold. 4) Additional bathrooms around the hotel as the few that currently exist, are always busy. 5) Increase the quality of the food for the dinner on Malva restaurant and the last one and very important, 6) in the adults area, lots of young people, looked like teenagers and they do a lot of noise during the night. Maybe there were from the spring break or from one of the weddings, but this was very inconvenient. This is something that needs to be addressed, I even saw security being called for them. All employees are very polite and always willing to help. I want to point out for the circle concierge for the adults area Rodolfo Medina, extremely polite, always attentive, fast response to our requests. Rodolfo is indeed a 100% extraordinary/outstanding employee. Thank you Rodolfo, was a great pleasure meeting you.

We had our wedding last year and she did help us made our day special. All the team parties are the best.

Staff was amazing we loved our pool guy Oscar and our concierge Christian was so very helpful. Rooms could use some updating which is starting in June of this year. Ocean was beautiful on the white sandy beach infront of the resort. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent customer service, good hotel facilities and very friendly staff. Melia Paradisus Cancun it's excellent options to take vacation in Mexico. If you need to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, Melia Paradisus Cancun is an excellent option.

We decided to come back this year to celebrate our 31 Anniversary in this resort and we had a really great vacation time. We chose again for adult only and enjoyed every days with private pool and private beach .Very friendly, helpful staff. Specially our concierge Enrique , he is a fantastic , he really made our vacation the best vacation in our life ,he gave us all information about pool and restaurant rules , he reserved for us dinners in restaurants for every days during our stay , every morning he sent us resort activities information what was very helpful , he showing up few times per day to make sure we had good time, thanks to him our vacation was amazing , full with enjoying and relaxing , also Enrique decorated our room for our anniversary and provide a champagne and cake few times during our stay THANK YOU VERY MUCH ENRIQUE FOR YOUR EXELENT SERVICE !!!. We returned from 10 fabulous days in the Reserve part of the Melia Paradisus, Cancun on 20 March. We had a Suite with Ocean View (Rm 5123) which we thoroughly enjoyed although the planned closure from May for a total refurbishment is definitely due! Our holiday was totally enhanced by the Melia Staff experience. The service, friendliness and professionalism was unbeatable. All the staff at the Melia Paradisus Cancun were excellent but there are some who deserve a special mention. Enrique was our personal concierge and it would have been impossible to have had anyone better. Being British our cups of tea are essential (!) and Enrique located a kettle for us as well as fresh milk. He also managed to obtain feather pillows from housekeeping which was a big help to me. Enrique made all our restaurant bookings, not such an easy task as it sounds! He did everything with a warm smile and such friendliness and professionalism. He even surprised us on our departure to say Goodbye, I have to say that we’ve missed him since we arrived home! We were checked in and out at the Reserve Reception by Oscar. He was also very helpful, professional and friendly and we wish him well as he leaves Melia, Cancun. Breakfast in the Reserve area was lovely with excellent choices and quality. Lorena served us almost every morning and she made our day! Her efficiency, friendliness, professionalism and SMILE (!) impressed us so much! She also served us in Sante at lunchtime. David at the Reserve Swimming Pool also deserves a special mention. He was so helpful and friendly, checking everything was ok for us every day. I miss seeing his many photographs of the beautiful wild life at the resort and beach. We enjoyed dinner at the Restaurant SAL on two occasions and were made very welcome by Daniel and our 2 fabulous waiters, Leo and Ignacio, who were so friendly, professional and efficient. Everyone we met from Housekeeping was also very friendly and helpful. In fact we found all the Melia staff more than helpful, friendly and cheerful. They are a credit to the Melia Group. We hope to return in March 2026 to see the completed Hotel Refurbishment (and hopefully many of the same staff!) and look forward to an equally exceptional experience.

We spent 10 wonderful days in the Reserve Section at the Melia Paradisus between 10 & 20 March. Despite the planned refurbishment and closure scheduled for May this did not affect our enjoyment. We had a Suite with Ocean View which we found really good, despite the obvious need for an upgrade. As with any hotel the experience relies mostly on the Staff and the service they provide. You can have the most luxurious hotel in the world but without great staff the experience can be poor. The experience started before we arrived when I contacted Emmanuel. The Supervisor of the Personal Concierges, who was extremely helpful in answering all our pre-arrival questions. All the staff at the Melia Paradisus Cancun are excellent but I would like mention some in particular. First and foremost is Enrique, our personal concierge who was absolutely fantastic. Apart from his excellent Customer/Hospitality skills there was absolutely nothing he could have done more to make our stay more special; a true asset to Melia. Check-in and Check-out at the Reserve Reception were both done with Oscar who was very friendly and informative. Breakfast in the Reserve inside bar/restaurant area was really relaxed and the service we received from Lorena each morning was excellent both in terms of friendliness and efficiency. In the evening Julio always ensured I had my favourite drink/nightcap The staff at the Reserve Swimming Pool were very helpful. David was especially friendly and helpful and made all our days at the Pool very relaxing and enjoyable. The 2 dinners we had at the Restaurant 'SAL' were made really special by the Head Waiter Daniel and more especially our 2 waiters Leo and Ignacio who were both 100% Professional in their efficiency knowledge and friendliness. We definitely plan to return in March 2026 when the Refurbishments have been completed and look forward to an equally exceptional experience.

I've been to paradisus cancun many times and enjoy visiting the spa. I had an excellent massage with Teresita at YHI spa. It was so relaxing and she has great flow. The hydrotherapy was nice. I highly recommend visiting the spa during your trip.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Christian as our concierge during our stay at Paradisus Cancun, and WOW—he truly went above and beyond to make us feel like royalty! From the moment we arrived, he took care of all our reservations, checked in with us daily via text, and made sure we were always in the loop with what was happening around the resort. He even steamed our outfits for the wedding we were in, brought us surprise treats like champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, and regularly stopped by to see if we needed anything. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to every little detail made us feel like we were staying with family. We had never stayed at this resort before, but we’re so grateful for Christian he was a huge part of why our experience was so memorable. Honestly, he should be working at a 5+ star resort—he’s that exceptional! Even after the trip, we still keep in touch. Excellent location with a beautiful beach front position, bus stop on the main road and lots of taxis available if you fancy sightseeing. Team members are attentive and friendly. The check in process was rather long due to information from our booking not being transferred correctly- which in no way was the fault of the young lady checking us in at the level. Would have been nice to be offered a chilled drink on our arrival! We had a sea view room which was gorgeous waking up to this and the over all size of the room was good but definitely needs some upgrades, with splatters of something on the walls, tatty furniture and fruit platter on the table that had obviously been sitting there for a while as the fruit had become dry. Shower which does not drain properly and ends up all over the bathroom floor. Definitely well worth upgrading to level as you have your own bar/lounge/breakfast area exclusively for the level guest only. Use of the Bali bed and sun loungers, you need to book Bali beds through your concierge and then go on the waiting list. The amount of these available is very limited, also a severe shortage of parasols. A special thank you to Enrique our concierge, Lorena and Luis for their attentive service during breakfast. Julio for his excellent bar and cocktail making skills. Jacob for looking after us by the adults only poolside and also looking after Daisy.

Antolino was a great server! Tacos were amazing especially the Langua! The restaurant was comfortable and clean. The Mojito and Margaritas were great. We had one of each of the tacos to experience every flavor they had to offer. We will be here again!

Have been visiting Cancun for 10 years and this was our first visit to Paradisus. We will be going back even if it is a little out of our budget. We stayed in the Reserve which is adults only and suggest this for those of you that have no children....

Have been visiting Cancun for 10 years and this was our first visit to Paradisus. We will be going back even if it is a little out of our budget. We stayed in the Reserve which is adults only and suggest this for those of you that have no children. Check in was a breeze you pay an $18 sanitation fee but they all charge that now. At the Reserve you have your own butler/concierge that will contact you through the What’s App and they will make your reservations at the restaurants and get you set up on whatever you are searching for. Jose was ours and he was on it, contacted us everyday throughout our stay even on his day off to make sure we taken care of. We had an Ocean side view room which was heavenly waking up to in the morning. Wife and I played golf at their little 9 hole course on the resort. It’s a little rough so don’t expect perfection. For $37 (cash only) they give you rental clubs, tees and balls. Theirs pools (3 of them) are huge. At the reserve pool we met David and Victor and they took care of us. You are entitled to 2 beds poolside during your stay but your concierge needs to get you signed up. Now everyday that you don’t have a bed, but would like one (highly suggest), you need to get your name on the waiting list between 8:30 and 9am and be there at around 11 and they will call out names for the beds that are available for those that had reserved one but didn’t show up to claim them. The poolside beds are nice and well taken care of with outlets for charging your electronics. We ate at Sal steak house, Flora, Blue Agave, Ciello and Cappella. All were good but the Steak house was the Best. The buffet was the Best that we had ever experienced while staying in Cancun. A huge variety and the food was fresh and hot. The staff at the resort from top to bottom was gracious and they all always greeted you with an Hola and a smile and I mean everyone all the time. Valeria was our server most of the time at Santa (reserve restaurant) and she was fabulous. Popsicles in the lobby, an hour of free Hydrotherapy, coffee bars/dessert and fruit bars…this place lacked of nothing. The interior of this resort is tropical with vines hanging down from the very top in each area. The scents are plentiful and different throughout the inside of the resort and the sounds of the water features are very tranquil. The paradisus is 30 years old but is well taken care of and unfortunately the Reserve will be closed for renovations for up to a year starting in a month or two. The last thing I will say is that I have never had a better experience at a resort Cancun. The Staff all looked like they really enjoyed being there and taking care of the guests. That says a lot for the Managerial staff at Paradisus.

This is probably the most beautiful resort in my opinion on the hotel strip, the beach is beautiful and the grounds and buildings are exceptional, absolutely stunning interiors very clean and well staffed. I recommend the adults only section if you can, the Bali beds at the pool are amazing with food and drink service honestly I can’t say enough just exceeded expectations and we travel a couple of times a year. I have to give a special mention to our concierge Manuel who went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful! One note that isn’t a big deal but several guests said the same, restaurant reservations and shows are late and you can’t get any drinks after 11 PM so I would have liked a late night adults only bar or disco, after dinner and a nap it’s nice to have the option, that would be my only recommendation! But definitely recommend this resort

He had some nice treats and surprises waiting for us in our room at least 3 days out of the week we were there (which was a complete surprise to us). He was very friendly, polite, and just an all around pleasure to deal with. He made sure we had everything we needed all week long, and always had a smile on his face. We're seriously considering returning when their renovations are complete. If we do, I sincerely hope he is there so we can request him as our concierge again. He made everything easy, we just had to show up. My overall experience was amazing. A quick shout out to David and Victor at the Bali bed booth . Those two fellas rocked the house as well.

Great hotel for a quick Cancun getaway. Amazing food and a great choice of places to eat. Beautiful beach and pool areas. Would recommend couples upgrading to “The Reserve” for private food and drink area and a quieter hotel room. Super quick access to the airport.

I recommend the reserve for those traveling without adults which comes with a concierge. Enrique was a great concierge! He was proactive about reservations and sent daily activities which planning very easy. The reserve pool was very relaxing. The food quality varied based on the restaurant.

You get access to Sante, the reserve bar and atrium and 2 days of cabana beds for a minimal up charge..... Our last night we had Cielo and Mosies and Chef David were great! There are some rooms and things that are outdated, sad to see the hotel close but can't wait to see when it reopens... I urge the Hotel to take care of the staff and make sure they retain as many people as possible when they reopen

We came to celebrate my sister in laws 40th Birthday at Paradisus Cancun " The Reserve" adult only side and we can't say enough great things about our stay. From having our own concierge Named Manuel who was incredible, from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, He was extremely attentive. He made all our Reservations for restaurant, boat cruise, greeted us with messages every morning and evening with his schedule for the day. I requested a cake for my sister which he gladly accommodated us with. We had fruit and wine to welcome us and strawberries and champagne as a good bye. The room was spacious, clean, and beautiful, with stunning views of the ocean. Stocked mini fridge every day with drinks, tray of snacks also daily filled. 24 hour room service. The buffet food was excellent , they had something for everyone and they had many varieties. We loved the lemon fish restaurant it's fusion and Peruvian food was worth the hype. You must make reservations because it books quickly. The drinks throughout the resort were great and so was the service at the pool. everyone so friendly and attentive. The beach was so clean and clear. You can expect the same service there. Drinks and food can be ordered no need to rush you always find beach chairs to lounge. The resort's amenities were fantastic, when you book the reserve side it comes with a sunset Cruise and hydrotherapy spa which did wonders for us. We had the sauna, vapor room, cold plunge, it was magical. We would highly recommend The Reserve Paradisus Cancun to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation!

This resort is still amazing. The pools, spa, restaurants, services. I’d like to highlight the concierge Christian. He was available from the very first hour, made all our reservations in advance, and supported us to resolve a small issue in the room quickly. The best rooms from the reserve are also worth the cost, and the stunning view of the sea is priceless. Staff working on the reserve pool were also great. The Bali beds are a nice plus, already included in the reserve package. Great gym!!!

We were blown away by the variety and the consistent quality. It wasn’t just resort food—it was truly something special, and we found ourselves looking forward to every meal. Now, we have to give a huge shoutout to Danny Flow. His energy, charisma, and genuine passion for creating fun, engaging experiences for guests made our trip extra special. Danny truly *made* The Reserve feel alive. From fitness classes to poolside games, he had a way of bringing people together and making everyone feel included. His vibe was contagious, and we found ourselves smiling and laughing every time he was around. And we can’t forget Abraham and Javier at the Ginger Bar—absolute legends. Oh boy, the vacation at Paradisus Reserve with my wife was so good, I don't know where to start. I will start by saying my wife and I returned to Paradisus after 7 years for her 50th! The premise will be undergoing renos soon, so I wont speak to the physical hotel. First...Do the RESERVE! The last time #sweetpea and I were at Paradisus, 7 years ago, we were in Pyramid 3 and it was incredible. This time we left our Bambinos/Sponges at home and it was just the 2 of us. Reserve, means private check in and Isaac was sooooo awesome. Because of the renos we were moved to Pyramid 3 with an Ocean view. So nice! Then, we met the VERY BEST concierge EVER, Rossana! I have been to Cancun many times and I have never had service like what we received from Rossana. Rossana messaged us a few times every day on Whats-App, and even found time to check on us through out the day. Further, Rossana made sure we got all our restaurants at our preferred times and she got us the best Bali Beds. To Paradisus Management: Rossana is an incredible representative to your organization, and she worked tirelessly to make out first vacation in 7 years extremely memorable, while also managing several other clients! Pascal serves in the main buffet during breakfast in the area closest to the ocean. Pascal was there 7 years ago when we were there and my wife found the photos. Pascal, was the best part of our morning at Paradisus and he is an incredible worker. The service he gave to so many people was incredible, and so was his gift for connecting with everyone. Pascal, Sweet-pea and I still talk about how incredible you are! I hope Melia brings you back after the renos with a promotion bc you are an amazing ambassador for the brand! Frankly I could speak about this regarding a lot of the employees at this Hotel. Its different here! Ok...lastly the pool staff at the bar on the Reserve side was so awesome. That is one hard working crew. I always watch interactions and I saw every pool staff member working diligently the entire day. The reserve is worth it...DO IT! After the renos, I may have to save a little longer to return, but I do look forward to all the new photos. To the Melia group...pls remember to bring back rockstars Rossana and Pascal! My wife and I went to Paradisus to celebrate our honeymoon immediately after getting married. My wife had visited every year up until COVID hit for 7 years, so she knew the ins and outs of the resort and her recommendation is why we went. We stayed in the adults-only "Reserve" and the experience was so peaceful and relaxing. The room was amazing. We had our own private balcony and there was a very large bath tub with a view out to the balcony. As with most hotels and resorts, the pillows were not the best and left my neck hurting in the morning. The Reserve itself was very quiet and peaceful. We spent most mornings eating at the Atrium as it was the best option for breakfast (and honestly any food, more on that later) and very relaxing. The Reserve also includes an Adults only pool and this is where we spent most of our week. Two Bali-Bed reservations are included at the reserve, with a waitlist available afterwards, but it was so light when we went that we were able to secure one every day. The drinks were great and many of the servers were a delight to talk with. We had the all inclusive package but we did spring for two upgrades. We got a couple's massage while we were there which ran us about $350 USD. It was very relaxing and absolutely worth it. We also did a 20-30min photo shoot with one of the onsite photographers. He was very professional and really knew how to pose us! I've attached a few of those photos to this review. The photo session itself was free but they charge per photo + have some bundles. They told us it was $20 per photo we liked but we ended up liking around 25-30, so we got a bundle that ended up around $400. We got the digital photos and a physical photo book that we took home with us. With how good the photos came out, it was absolutely worth it to us, especially to not have to worry about taking our own photos. We had such a great time all around... except for the food. If the food had been better I'd rate it 5 stars. Unfortunately, while there were a few good eats here and there, we were left constantly disappointed with the quality of the food. This is especially upsetting considering my wife's favorite thing about this resort for the 7 years she'd come here was how good the food was. One day she even got either a stomach bug or food poisoning from drinking the coffee, which lasted about two days. We'd order off their menus and the items we received would be completely different. The best example of this was when we ordered a "Pretzel Dog" off the room service menu, which was listed as coming with a pretzel bun, caramelized onions, and a few other toppings. When it arrived it was just a plain old hot dog with no toppings and no special bun. Most of the food we ordered was either like that, or it was just not very tasty. If you're looking for the best spots to eat at, we enjoyed the pizza by the pool, the breakfast at the atrium in the reserve, and the sushi at Lemonfish. My hope is that this was just an off week for them. We were told we were one of the last groups staying at the resort before it shuts down for a year for renovations. My hunch is that they were just trying to get through the last renovations before closing and either didn't care too much about the food quality or decided not to reorder ingredients as they ran out. We'd love to stay there again in a few years, but we'll be waiting to see reviews from others after the renovations to make sure the food gets better.

Best experience. Melvin was really nice at cappella restaurant. Overall will comeback. The food was really good. The resort is one of the best in Cancun. The service is really good and good attention to detail. It made my wife and I very happy

The atrium was a lovely place to chill, get a drink, coffee, snack and breakfast away from crowds. Buffet was ok especially if you had something from the grill where they were cooking. Disappointed with the deserts. Not keen on the Italian but the other restaurants were good. I really enjoyed flora and lemon fish. I would love to see an actual bar/cocktail menu. Don’t get me wrong, you could pretty much have what you wanted but I like to choose from a menu to see what I like the sounds of. Beach was stunning. The sea was quite rough but I like jumping over waves. No seaweed to mention when we were there. Entertainment I felt was quite poor and activities weren’t always when they said. We loved the yoga in the mornings. It was easy to get the bus along to the main tourist point but enjoyed being in a hotel that had huge grounds. In the reserve area you could pretty much get a lounger most times and the Bali beds were a nice little bonus, however the food ordered to our bed was awful so we went to get food after the first attempt. Generally a really lovely and relaxing holiday.

Melvin from Cappella was great!! Was able to make dietary accommodations (gluten free) very easily and overall very friendly and kind! Great time overall. I would definitely come here again. Food was great, service was great, highly recommend

We had a spectacular stay. We stayed at the Reserve, and from the moment you walk into the main building you are whisked away to actual paradise. The customer service is unmatched, the food is superb (every restaurant was amazing), and the amenities and tranquility provided by the Reserve really added to the luxurious feel. I've never left a vacation feeling truly refreshed and with a completely changed mindset, but Paradisus gave us that gift. The total relaxation and pampering we received made me go back to regular life with a brand new attitude, and that was worth every penny. A special shout out to Julio, the Reserve evening bartender. He was the highlight of our trip and a true friend we made during our stay. We can't wait to see him next time!

I don't have a single complaint about anything from service, to food etc. This was mine and my partners first time in Mexico and the staff made it such an amazing trip, we cannot wait to go back! We chose this resort for many reasons but one of many being the swim up bar that we never ended up using! Luis and Alejandro at the reserve bar as well as all the Sante staff, Gemma, Josue, Rigoberto, Arnulfo and everyone took such great care of us we never left the reserve pool. Isaac set us up in a beautiful ocean view room and David was always setting us up with the best Bali beds. He and everyone worked tirelessly to ensure we had the absolute best stay. We were so impressed with absolutely everyones work ethic. Julio and everyone at the reserve lounge was phenomenal and so attentive to our needs we never left the reserve side. Felipe and Raul were so helpful with our luggage and shuttle, everything was handled with such care. Emmanuel went above and beyond to take care of us and helped my boyfriend plan the most magical private dinner on the beach. Abraham at Ginger lounge gave us the most informative and entertaining tequila tasting. Danny flow and Say made every day so fun and Danny made us laugh every time we got to see him. He and everyone helped make our trip so memorable that we cannot wait for the next trip to Paradisus! I wish I had gotten more names of everyone that helped us during our stay but we wish everyone luck during their renovations and we hope to see everyone back when we come again!
