Right when we entered we relaxed to the sound of our private waterfall pool. The private deck area also included a hammock, lounge chairs, a breakfast nook and personal wet bar. Inside, the villa was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with honeymooners in mind. The king-size bed was unbelievably comfortable with a whole pillow menu if you were so inclined. The bathroom was complete with a large soaking tub, rain shower, and his/her sinks. The pictures online are spot on. We loved the added touches that Tracey, Rosie, and the other room staff provided like having the room beautifully decorated with hibiscuses, rose petals, cute towel origami and sweet notes every day. After our second day which included the island tour, Kaisha our butler, went out of her way to draw us a bath and left such a sweet note congratulating us on our marriage and honeymoon. These personal touches made us feel special from the very beginning. Even though the suite we were in didn't feel outdated, it did seem like they were making upgrades to some of the other surrounding suites just based on some of the staff with tools we passed by. As someone in construction, I was thoroughly impressed that we couldn't hear any construction noise even when we went back to the suite midday. They seem like they really care about their guests' experiences. Dining: Breakfast first...(my personal favorite meal of the day), everything was exquisite. At Serenity, you have the option of ordering room service breakfast or dining in the Greathouse restaurant. We enjoyed both equally. For the room service option, we selected the time we wanted it delivered and marked what we wanted and left the order on the handle of our front door before 11 the night prior. While everything was delicious from both menus, I will say the room service menu seemed to have less options listed (although I'm sure if there was something specific you wanted from the Greathouse menu they would have accommodated it). Dining at the Greathouse restaurant for breakfast was also so nice. We had the option of enjoying breakfast inside or outside on the deck overlooking the pool and were usually served by Tyler in the morning (she was so nice and fun). You HAVE to try the French toast. While we did have the option of trying the other Coconut Bay restaurants for breakfast, we never made it over there so we can't speak to that experience. I will say we didn't necessarily feel like we missed out on that because everything was so good at Serenity. Coconut Bay did have an all day coffee bar though and it was delicious. Lunch next...on the days when there wasn't a set lunch event happening on the Serenity pool deck, our butler and fill-in butler (McGregor on Kaisha's day off) always offered to bring us lunch from wherever we wanted. When we had our pool cabana day, McGregor brought us jerk chicken, rice and beans from the Jerk Tree House restaurant from over on the Coconut Bay side and it was so good. On our beach cabana day, Kaisha brought us food from Greathouse and it really made us feel so cared for and luxurious. Throughout the day on the pool deck, Ray one of the bartenders usually brought around some treats from Greathouse, as well, like tangy chicken strips, pot stickers, and his famous afternoon popsicles. My husband made it over to the Coconut Bay resort for lunch a few days too for their buffet style options (i.e. pizza, hot dogs, nachos, etc.). Some days, Greathouse provided a pool deck lunch experience. I'm not sure if this is the same every week but on Sunday, they had a midday cool down experience which included local cuisine and fun games. On Monday, they had a taco bar and margaritas. Everything was delicious. Dinner last...the Greathouse had such an amazing atmosphere at dinner time. They always started us off with bread/butters and sangria and let me tell you I have never tased such fresh and flavorful drinks in my life...we tried just about everything on the menu and I don't have one bad thing to say about anything we tried. The starters are not American "shareable" portion sizes but everything is unlimited so don't be scared to order more than one! They provided different mid-dinner bites to try including palette cleansing sorbets. I don't know who makes the desserts but they were phenomenal. Aside from the food itself, Serenity had some sort of live music to accompany dinner every night we ate at Greathouse. From jazz singers, to piano sing-a-longs, to more upbeat bands and fire dancers, we were never bored. Serenity does have a Steel Sushi Dinner on Tuesday nights that we didn't partake in. However, Kaisha/McGregor our butlers, were able to make us reservations at Trattoria the more casual Italian restaurant at Coconut Bay. The atmosphere over there was definitely more family friendly, but all of the staff were just as warm and welcoming. After this particular dinner, Coconut Bay had a Country Hoedown concert that we stuck around and enjoyed which was a lot of fun. I didn't realize how much influence country music has in Saint Lucia! I think our only regret was not trying Silk or La Luna the other finer dining restaurants at Coconut Bay. Activities and Relaxation: While the resort is all about relaxation, there are plenty of activities available for those who don't want to just sit by the pool or ocean. With the Romance Package, we had the Couples Escapade included with our stay which offered us a chauffeur, Famous Amos, who gave us a tour of the island. Amos took us to see the old lighthouse, the volcano tour (or what's left of it), the mud baths, the waterfall, and Botanical Gardens. Amos really did seem to know everyone on the island and helped us navigate through more of the tourist filled activities so smoothly. He even pointed out Michael Jordan's private jet that was parked at the airport temporarily. The Romance Package also included an in-suite couples massage and Jazz Sunset cruise which we were lucky to go on because a few storms passed through the previous night which made the water choppy (so if you get seasick definitely give this a second thought!). This cruise included a few other couples and another butler, McCarthy, who took care of some snacks and drinks for us while on the water. It was beautiful to see the island from the water. Lastly, we did not take advantage of the complimentary water sports like kayaking, paddleboarding or snorkeling because the Atlantic Ocean (where the resort is situated) was pretty rough while we were there, but if we ever go back we definitely will! Both Serenity and Coconut Bay resorts offer a daily schedule of activities, but we found ourselves often lounging by the pool or the beach. Ray and Charles and the other bartenders at the poolside bar made sure we always had a refreshing drink in hand, and the pool had plenty of chairs and loungers to relax in (no fighting over spots). Service: The service throughout our stay was impeccable. Every staff member we interacted with went out of their way to make us feel welcome and pampered. It’s clear that the staff at Serenity truly cares about creating a personalized experience for each guest. We were always greeted with smiles, and the attention to detail was second to none. The Setting: The resort itself is beautifully designed, with lush tropical gardens, quiet pathways, and open-air spaces that perfectly complement the stunning natural beauty of St. Lucia. We loved being able to explore the grounds, from the winding paths that lead to hidden nooks to the breathtaking views of the ocean. The beach area had plenty of space and enough loungers and beach hammocks for everyone to enjoy the view or relax in the shade. The only negative thing was the seaweed. They had a tractor running up and down the beach every so often picking up the seaweed but I don't know if that helped because there was less seaweed or made it worse because the beach wasn't as peaceful. Overall it was beautiful though. We appreciated that the resort maintains an intimate, secluded, and safe feel with security monitoring the beaches. Final Thoughts: Serenity at Coconut Bay was truly a dream honeymoon destination. It offered the perfect blend of luxury, romance, and relaxation, all set against the backdrop of St. Lucia’s breathtaking natural beauty. I could not think of a better way to celebrate my 50th birthday. The Serenity staff were friendly and thoughtful. Kaisha was an amazing butler who took good care of us during our 8 days. It was lovely getting to know Ginel and Ingrid. Every meal was exceptional....egg white frittata, green fig & salt fish, HUGE grilled prawns, bananas foster...just to name a few. My favorite was the St. Lucian Cocoa Tea, drank it every morning. I loved it so much that Ingrid took the time to show me how to make it. We also learned how to make sushi rolls from Chef Lucy! We still talk about our vacation and literally think - "did this really happen? was it a dream?" Looking back at our beautiful photos makes me smile...such wonderful memories, so thank you Serenity! We will return!!!

Joseph worked the bar some days as well and always brought us the "Joseph Special" (definitely worth trying)! All 3 of them had great personalities! Her smiling face and outgoing personality was so great to be around! She greeted us with hugs like we were family and always brought a smile to our face!! We highly recommend this resort and all of the fun added activities that we did, it was all perfect!

Absolutely gorgeous place…. put your $ down for this place and know that you are investing in true and full rest! Food excellent and variety…. service the best …. weather - let’s describe it is heavenly. this place is so wonderful that it will make you think I want to move here!
