This is the second time we traveled to Grenada and to Mount Cinnamon. Both the country and the resort are fantastic. The villa we were in was well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bed was comfortable too. We had a large upstairs balcony and smaller downstairs balcony, both of which had great views. The beach is great, not busy overall and the loungers were comfortable. Highlights included the incredible clear water, sea kayaking and walking the beach. We ate breakfasts at the restaurant and the food was very good. A good assortment of dishes on the breakfast bar and ones that you can order. Breakfast was included. Although I didn't get the bakers name, she makes everything. Isha and Cecile were both very attentive. While the service, overall, is slow; the quality of the food is very good. We ate dinner there twice and everyone enjoyed their meals. Rondell at reception was very helpful, friendly and efficient. Kester, at the beach, went above and beyond on a number of occasions and even snorkeled the beach searching for a pair of sunglasses a friend lost when her kayak overturned.
Finally, the staff are very interested in making sure you have what you need and are always willing to help. Laura, the manager that we interacted with the most, was very helpful.

Very attractive hotel in a lovely tropical setting. Spacious comfortable rooms with wonderful views over Grand Anse beach and across the bay to St George’s.
Very nice pool bar at the hotel with a Beach Cabana bar and restaurant just a short walk away with a shuttle service if you need it as the hotel is set on a hillside.
Despite all these positives we were disappointed by the overall experience from a supposed 4 Star hotel.
Our main irritant was the service and lack of management. Plus lots of little things which added up to impact negatively on the holiday.
The Beach Cabana looks and should be great but we found the service slow with the staff seeming sullen and unhappy. When you were eventually served it felt like they were doing you a favour.
A group of ten guests would daily “reserve” the best beach loungers with their towels and then disappear for hours apparently to play golf … When asked the management didn’t think there was anything wrong with this. ( Beach loungers are also let out to non residents ).
The worst experience of the holiday was when a couple decided to drink all day at the beach and then come back to the hotel pool bar to make a long loud drunken phone call to UK full of the f* word and other unpleasant expletives.
This cleared the area and staff made no attempt to do anything about the situation despite in being within earshot of reception.
Very disappointing from a high end hotel.
The General Manager was conspicuous by his absence during our stay - only appearing briefly and not engaging with guests as far as we could see.
The Assistant General Manager Laura to give her great credit did engage and knew we weren’t happy.
Overall a really nice hotel in a beautiful setting but too many negatives and certainly not 4 Star in our opinion.
We wouldn’t return which is a shame as all the ingredients are there.
We’ve stayed in Grenada several times in the past but unfortunately our stay this time was disappointing.

Great hotel! Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were well sized, clean with great views. Dining there for all meals was great. Better than going out. Beach was great with beach bar right there. Beautiful grounds. Breakfast us included in your stay

Fabulous 9 night stay at Mount Cinnamon. The staff truly work to make everything as idea as they can. If you have a suggestion, need something, have an issue - if you talk with them, they'll do whatever they can.
They planned an amazing private dinner on the beach for us one night in honor of our anniversary. One of us has to eat gluten free and they bent over backwards to fully accommodate and stay on top of it.
The food is excellent, the accommodations and grounds are lovely, and the gym is awesome. Being on the south end of Grand Anse is ideal and you're walking distance from BBC beach too. Highly Highly recommend!!!!

We stayed here for a week as part of a twin centre holiday. The location is amazing and the view to wake up to is outstanding. Service too is very good, but sometimes felt a bit forced rather than coming naturally especially in the restaurant.
Really liked the walk down to the beach and the beach itself is amazing, although sometimes a little difficult to get a bed where we needed it.
There were a few things we felt let it down which is why I gave this review a 4. There are no dressing gowns in the room and the shower gels etc were not of a standard to be expected for a hotel of this standard (also no shower caps).
We also felt that in parts the hotel was a little tired and needed updating.
Overall, a lovely hotel but attention to detail stopped it being a 5.

We stayed here for two weeks in January 2025. We had stayed the year before also so knew what the resort was like the year before. Everything went smoothly check in ,rum punch ,delivery to the room. All good we stayed in one of the Haciendas. We had a great view of the ocean, although it is quite a distance away with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The year before we stayed in a larger two bedroom unit, but found it too far up the hill to climb. By the way, if you plan on coming here, you must be in good shape. It is extremely hilly to climb up to your room and go down to the beach, although there is a shuttle we did notice the scarcity of it this year. The beach is beautiful and well kept. However, the waves in the ocean are ferocious at times making it near to impossible without help to get into the water for swimming. I did walk the beach every day for some exercise as I took one look at the gym with no air conditioning and one treadmill with weights and decided to forgo visiting there. They certainly could improve that and get some air conditioning. We had breakfast daily included with our unit which we found adequate the year before they had a hot table set up with all kinds of things in it to help yourself and this year it was all served to you, which is probably better for cleanliness and the buffet had cereals Fruit yogurt, and a toaster on it if you can call that buffet lol I did find it a bit peculiar that where we wanted to sit for breakfast they would not let us sit there if the table was not wiped, which to me takes a matter of seconds to lay down a placemat and some utensils. We found the waitresses to be very helpful and accommodating. We did eat our lunch daily also at the beach bar and as others have complained, we did not find the waitresses poor down there, but always willing to help us. Of course there’s the wait time for your lunch. Something weird happened while we were there with the towels all of a sudden they were all replaced with these white towels and Turkish towels, and the green towels all but disappeared, which meant that there were not enough towels and the towel hut was never fully stocked I’m not sure what happened the year before towels were not a problem and they went around, checking to see which kind of towels you had and asking for your room number Probably to prevent theft, but I’m not sure how that would prevent it knowing your room number and not having to check on whether you returned your towels or not as they were all thrown in a communal towel tub. My biggest complaint would be our room or unit that we had which was one bedroom, two bathrooms, small kitchen and a living room first of all the one bathroom had a very leaky shower. It didn’t matter what I did. The bathroom floor was full of water at the end of the shower. I complained many times to many different people and nothing was done. I told them even just to put a curtain up to hold the water in to no avail and of course, then there’s the issue of getting towels because you need more if you’re wiping up the floor every day. The bed was so high you basically had to leap into it. And the living room and the furniture in there was very old and uncomfortable. This unit definitely needs an update in every way. And now there’s a pool if you can call it that. The year before it was an OK pool very small more or less a dipping place to cool off before hiking up the hill to your room with a bar there which is not used very much, but wouldn’t you know they put a large cement pier in the middle of it which takes the third of the already small pool away in size and during the week when we were there entertainment was put on the cement in the pool
Weird not sure why they would do that unless they don’t want you using the pool. We love Grenada. We love the people of Grenada, but I’m not sure we will return here to this hotel. The other thing the hotel does is rent out chairs for the day to people off cruises, which can mean that there are not enough chairs for the people who are staying there or towels? We did go to different restaurants for dinner at night and there are some excellent eating establishments there. So that’s it!

Mount Cinnamon is a great resort with the most beautiful views of Gran Anse beach and St. Georges right from your own private villa balcony. All of the resort staff were extremely friendly and attentive, they made you feel that your satisfaction was their top priority - every day! Breakfast was amazing and you can't beat the beach bar and grill on the beach. The resort is set on the mountain side, so getting to your villa is a climb, but if you're in good shape you'll enjoy the exercise. However, if you want a ride, the free shuttle service is always available to take you anywhere on the resort. The location of the resort is another bonus. Situated at the end of Gran Anse beach where it is quiet, but still walkable to the spice market, supermarket, the mall, and several really good restaurants. We walked the whole length of the beach every day, at least twice a day. Wonderful resort, beautiful country, and amazing people!
