Had a great four night stay here. Check in was easy although they take $50 per night as a guarantee when you check in.
Room was decent size with quite a bit of storage, nice Rocky Mountain Soap Co toiletries and balcony.
Hotel set up is a bit unusual with the corridors to the rooms being outdoors which isn’t a problem just unusual.
Sauna and hot tub were great after skiing although the hot tubs do get busy and no booze allowed in them with regular checks too (boo!)
Parking is included and plentiful underground.
Location great for all shops and restaraunts downtown - 5-10min walk.
Would stay again for sure.

Never being in our room unless we were sleeping/changing, being able to stroll out at night changed the whole experience. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The hot tubs looked nice but we didn’t use them.
The room itself was comfortable enough but nowhere to store bags (no rack to set the bags on either). It made the room feel cramped having luggage everywhere. Robes are provided but not slippers. You also get access to a toaster, kettle, coffee machine and cutlery/crockery.
The biggest issue we had was that the aircon in our room didn’t work. Thank god for the fireplace because at -25 degrees Celsius outside it was cold. Our room was freezing when we arrived home and got up each morning. Maintenance said that the aircon has sensors and will only heat the room when it detects movement but if that’s true, it still never worked for us.

Banff was our last stop on our two week Western ski trip. We decided to stay in Banff and his time (having stayed at two other very nice hotels not directly in Banff on two previous trips. We stayed in a 1 bedroom rooftop suite and were not disappointed! Beautiful lobby, drive in and drive out underground parking and great amenities (gym, hot tubs, indoor and outdoor pool, spa, onsite restaurant). We loved the suite and the flexibility to have breakfast in room as well as fresh fruit and the occasional in room dinner (note there is a kitchenette with bar fridge, toaster, microwave, coffee and tea station and sink/dishes/utensils but no cooktop or oven). Close to most of the great restaurants and if you don’t want to walk you can use the Roam service and shuttles. We chose to drive to ski, but on weekends shuttles are likely a better option! Home away from home with great views and daily housekeeping). You can park and walk pretty much anywhere in Banff. They offer free Roam passes and a discount program at various shops. We loved the location, vibe and staff. We plan to home base from the Moose on our next visit!

Wonderful. Rooms were big. Bathroom was big. We had a ground floor which had a nice seating area outside. Rooms were very quiet.
The reception area had a huge open fire. Lovely and relaxing and warm.
The bar was nice.... This is the only place that left them down. The service staff were either highly immature or lacked training. Or there is a lack of management about. We observed a girl who worked there drunk at the bar one night and she worked the breakfast next morning. Where she and others spoke about other guests who were also having breakfast. Loud enough for us to hear....... You don't do that.
The location of this hotel is perfect. Near everything. With excellent underground parking. 2 beautiful outdoor jacuzzi and a sauna. I cannot recommend enough.

Spent 3 nights here and it was incredible!
The room was spacious and felt like I was in a modern log cabin. Front desk was always very helpful.
Rooftop hot tub / pool and sauna were so enjoyable (tip: bring slippers as the hotel does not provide them as they are trying to reduce their plastic usage)
The rooms were quiet and the bed/pillows were fantastic.
Property is very clean and housekeeping did a wonderful job.
We are already planning a return trip here!

Great placevto stay in Banff
Just had nights here and it was excellent. Check in really smooth, room very comfortable with great bathroom. The guest laundry was a very welcome facility after 2 weeks on the road. Fantastic base for exploring the area; pick up right outside for the gondola. Staff really friendly and helpful.
Great location. Good car parking garage. Good room size with comfy beds and bedding. Bathroom good.
The property could do with a refresh, the decor is very drab and outdated.
Chairs in the lobby area are worn and stained.
No help with luggage offered or appeared to be available.
Room spacious and lovely big beds. Room service excellent along with cleaning. Great location, nice bar and hot tub fab on the rooftop. We are several times in restaurant for breakfast and got room service one evening, they collected the plates straight after. Got free bus passes also.

Staff were eager to help me get about and loaned me the use of a wheelchair. The reception staff were all helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. My partner used the pool and spa on the roof whilst I enjoyed the beautiful scenery and views from here. There is washing and drying facilities in the basement The room had a small balcony with views of the mountains. The room had everything we needed, a little dining table and chairs which thought was a nice touch to sit at if you wanted take away food, sofa, and we slept well in the comfy bed.
We ate for quickness at the Italian attached to the hotel which was just ok but nicer eateries in town. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The let us keep our bags with them after checking out for the entire day, and patiently helped us with a couple of requests the get stuff out of the bags. We also borrowed bear spray free of cost from the hotel (you need to pay only if you use it).
ROAM bus connectivity is great as the stop is just a 2 min walk from the hotel.
We had booked the room with two queen beds. Although the hotel website says it has a balcony, keep in mind that your room could be on the ground floor with almost zero view of anything but weed stems growing outside. The coffee in the room leaves a lot to be desired and the tea selection is not very good especially when we paid $650 a night. The coffee and tea is more like a $150 a night hotel.

I love this hotel , this was our yearly trip to Moose Hotel as we love to go back every March for a weekend stay. We stayed in a king suite so we get a bedroom, living room, ensuite bathroom and a kitchenette with half fridge, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, also kettle. They supply coffee, tea, plates, silverware, bowls and cups and glasses, dish soap and a kitchen towel. There were ample bath towels and when you go to the outdoor hot tubs there are towels provided. Also we had 2 housecoats provided in the room and used them to walk to the hot tub and back to the room. The indoor pool is inadequate, tiny but ok for young kids. There is an outdoor Sauna along side the 2 outdoor hot tubs which are wonderful, one is hotter than the other so you have choices and beautiful mountain views.
The hotel is on the main street of Banff so easy to catch busses, they provide free underground parking and keep rolling carts in the underground parking area to take your own suitcases and items to to your rooms. Be aware the king suites have their door entry outside on walkways which do collect snow and you need to walk into the hotel then outside onto the walkways to access your room door. We got used to it, but it is an inconvenience when it snows. I found the rooms well built so very quiet...we did not hear noises at night and slept well on the comfortable bed.
The in house restaurant called Pacici's has an Italian theme, but normal breakfast selection, my favourite was their Caesar salad, HINT: ask for the dressing on the side so you can adjust how much you want on your own salad. Yes they have a grill open for guests to grill bread themselves all day, it was not hot enough at breakfast so the bread did not toast up very well but at supper the focacia bread with garlic butter was perfect...they supply a variety of breads and condiments for the bread in a variety but its for guests when you order a full meal.
