This was our favorite hotel on our three week visit to Italy. Book this hotel! The service was amazing. The breakfast was the best out of all of the hotels we stayed at. The sleeping quality and cleanliness of this hotel were both superior. You are greeted with Proseco. You are greeted with smiling staff. The coktail hour was amazing and it was fun to hear about other guests adventures from the day. We would stay here again in Florence. It is located outside of the main tourist attraction but Venice is a walkable city. Just book your stay at Hotel Moresco and be treated like a queen or king. I wish I would have taken pictures of our room and view of the canal. Even our bathroom was beautiful.

Great place to stay! Would definitely come back! The hotel is very conveniently located near the bus terminal but not too far to walk to the main sights of Venice. The service and decor are impeccable, the breakfast delicious and the happy hour snacks an added bonus. The room was also lovely and the beds extremely comfortable. If there was a tiny bit more cupboard space in the 3rd floor canal view room, it would be even better, but overall it ticked all the boxes.

The surrounding area has more than enough shops and restaurants to satisfy all tastes.
Our bedroom (206) was large, clean and comfortable with a fridge containing complimentary drinks, a safe, and a coffee machine. The bathroom was large and clean but could do with a bit more space to place toiletries.
Water, both still and sparkling was available on tap free of charge and there is a happy hour each evening where free snacks are served for guests. The hotel also offers a free taxi service to Murano, well worth it.
The hotel staff were all very helpful and welcoming and were always available to give advice on what to do or where to go.

We enjoyed the hotel and appreciated its location; close to the train station and not far from everything we wanted to see and do.
Excellent service. Close to trains, three bridges with suitcases. Quiet but in walking distance to everything. Nearby restaurants and bakery were great. Happy hour with cichetti and breakfast to face the day. Would definitely recommend.

Check in although not “fast” was an enjoyable relaxed experience with complimentary Prosecco while comfortably lounging in the bar/welcome area. Everyone was professional, friendly and focused on making sure everything was impeccable. Couple all that with the price being reasonable and you have home run. Recommend without hesitation!

Just returned from visiting the lovely city of Venice. We stayed at the Moresco and we cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel is ideally located to explore both the many sights and locations the city is famous for as well as an abundance of wonderful restaurants and cafes to visit to simply watch the world go by. We arrived at the Marco Polo airport and transferred to Venice by local bus. It only takes about 20 minutes to the Piazzale Roma bus station and the hotel is then about a 5 minute walk away. The hotel staff are so helpful and friendly. Nothing seems too much trouble for them and they are very good at their jobs.
Breakfast each morning was brilliant with so much choice and it was great to get back each evening after a long day of sightseeing to relax and enjoy the local wines in the comfort of the bar. The wonderful team on reception were happy to share recommendations and advise on places to eat or visit and help with any arrangements you needed.
The bedrooms are stunning with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, a safe, coffee machine and wide screen tv.
You just have to visit Venice and you have to stay at the lovely hotel

I booked Hotel Moresco for my husband and I to celebrate his 40th birthday, and what an amazing stay it was. Upon arrival, we were offered complimentary drinks and snacks while we were checked in, which was very thoughtful (I am not a good traveller!) and represents the high standard of the hotel.
We arrived at midday and our room was ready for us. Nothing was too much trouble. When we were taken to our room, we were shown how to use the coffee machine, and when my husband mentioned that I am a tea drinker, they arranged for a kettle to be sent to our room which arrived within minutes. I let the hotel know in advance that I am gluten-free and they had gluten-free snacks ready for me, as well as gluten-free bread and goodies at breakfast. There was a good selection of food at breakfast - mainly continental with fresh eggs (boiled/fried/scrambled) made to order. We booked a canal view room which was beautifully presented with a stunning view. We enjoyed having drinks in the library/bar of an evening, which was also decorated beautifully. The service at Hotel Moresco is exceptional - all of the staff were incredibly helpful and polite.
The hotel is perfectly located about a 25-30 minute walk from the Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square, and on the walk you pass lots of quaint shops and cafes/bars so you are spoiled for choice for eateries and things to see. This hotel is an absolute gem! Book it now!
Tip: Book a water taxi from the airport to the hotel, it's worth it. We pre-booked a water taxi via the hotel and there was no additional mark-up to the usual rate of €140. On the way home, we walked the 5 minutes it takes to get to the car taxi rank to drive to the airport at €40.

When you arrive and the first thing they do is offer you a glass of Prosecco, then you know you've arrived at the right place.
Easy to find (we drove and parked at the Communale in Piazzale Romana and its 6 minutes easy walk) and easy to get around from. located just off teh main Grande canal it's easy to navigate from. 20 minutes to the Rialto Bridge, 30 minutes walking to St Marks and the walk is so interesting.
The hotel is clean, has good cicchetti from 6.30 to 8pm (reasonably priced drinks and then just nibble) which makes the perfect appetiser before going out to dinner.
Plenty of room, plenty of storage and a small minibar. Shower was a delight and te bed really comfortable. All in all, ideal.
