An overall nice stay was quite marred by an unplanned surcharge - reviewing my credit card statement I notice that I was charged the equivalent of 140 Euro for 10 postcards and 4 international stamps. I blame this to a lack of communication between the shop and reception, the lack of English language skills of the receptionist as well as her obvious lack of experience with processing credit card payments. I was never handed a receipt.

We got the rooms late, the restaurants are average, we took the room with the pool outside it was nice, the shushi restaurant was the best, with the best chef! The breakfast was good. All the rest is standard not worth the price………………………………….

Raffles Seychelles was exceptional on every level. It could not have been better in our opinion. There are a few different things to mention: STAFF Pasek - He was our butler and was absolutely superb in every respect. He could not do enough for us. He was so friendly, happy and approachable. He always went above and beyond to make sure we had the most fantastic experience on our honeymoons (including arranging romantic dinners on the beach and a private boot to see different islands)! He also made sure we had restaurants reserved for us and even dealt with these things on his day off! A true gentleman! Steven / other members of the management team - Steven was also excellent and a very nice guy. He always made the effort to speak with us and make sure all of our needs were met. This is also true of our members of the management team who were brilliant and so friendly. House Keeping - Our villa was always turned over frequently and to the highest standard. The team was so friendly as well. So, thank you to the team including Ali, Narender and Hilda. Pool Bar / Restaurants / Bar - All of the team were so attentive and friendly. The service was the best we have encountered. We were here for two weeks and the service never dropped below exceptional. A few people to mention include Rody, Ronnie, Jerry, Saddam and Darryl. These are only a few of the people and everyone we met were great and so helpful. Sorry all of the other names have escaped us! Generally - as a general point everyone who you see at the resort always says hello / good morning / good afternoon which is very nice and made us feel very welcome. At the time of writing this, we have not managed to remember all of the names of the team who have been so friendly and helpful. We feel it really is a team effort and everyone has been superb. VENUE The hotel itself is absolutely superb. The villas are spacious with stunning views. There is an excellent buggy service for getting around the resort. The private beach is amazing. The pool areas is beautiful and very relaxing. OVERALL Overall, we would say this is the best trip we have ever had (having been to other beautiful hotels and locations before many times). That has really been due to the level of service and friendliness of all of the team. THANK YOU Sam & Grace

Beautiful hotel - stunning rooms, views and beach. Delicious food annd cocktails made by the lovely Margaret. Excellent service throughout - nothing was too much trouble for our butler, Pasek. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing trip - we can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic stay, exceptional staff . Especially Margaret on the cocktails who was an absolute super star , John Luc the smellier and Abdul at breakfast ! The room was great - own pool, soft bed / Pillows , big towels , lovely sea view . Beautiful beach

It is very important that we were absolutely private on the villa terrace. Everything is very clean, they clean 2 times a day and almost every day they left us some nice compliments. Very tasty and varied breakfasts with a wonderful view, a large area with a huge number of different flowers, palm trees, trees, and of course, a family of huge Seychelles turtles! We would like to express special gratitude to our Butler - Pasek! He was always in touch with us via WhatsApp, always helped to organize our leisure time, our comfort and our various wishes, and he is also very cheerful and sociable. Thank you for organizing our romantic dinner, it was just great! Many thanks to all the staff for our wonderful vacation! It was magical!

What really made the trip special is that each guest is assigned a butler that will help them through all their needs. Our butler Pasek made our experience even more memorable. He attended our every need and provided recommendations and solutions on the spot. He went above and beyond and we will never forget that.

They even came in the room two times when we were naked! Service and restaurant are good but not at the level a five star resturant should be, way overpriced for what you are actually getting.

Amazing service from Boyd, great Bon Voyage surprise on the last evening. It’s the people that make the place special. Beautiful beach, the island is peaceful… we will surely come back. Ideal location for a peaceful getaway to relax and recharge.

Raffles Seychelles is undeniably set in a breathtakingly beautiful location. The lush landscapes, turquoise waters, and serene ambiance create a truly idyllic getaway. Our petit villa was charming and cozy, offering privacy and lovely views, though the furnishings felt a bit dated and in need of refreshment. The staff were warm and welcoming, always greeting with a smile, but service throughout the resort was noticeably sluggish — from restaurants to buggy service. The dining experience left much to be desired. Meals at the on-site restaurants were average at best and didn’t justify the premium prices. The buffet breakfast was quite basic, with limited variety, slow replenishment, and watered-down juices that were disappointing. Another letdown was the spa, where the wet facilities were out of order during our stay — something we had looked forward to enjoying. Additionally, the resort seems to lack enough buggies to efficiently cater to all guests, often resulting in long wait times to get around the property. Overall, while the natural beauty of Raffles Seychelles is truly memorable, the experience falls short in several key areas that are expected at this level of luxury.

Boid made this experience exceptional with friendly and timely service and suggestions. Chef Vipon demonstrates mastery in sushi preparation...one secret recipe for the ponzo sauce elevated the dining experience to another level. A must try restaurant on the island!

The ultimate luxury experience, the staff were so attentive and polite, Sufiyen the restaurant manager deserves a special mention, the food was exceptional and the resort itself was outstanding. We couldn’t fault our stay and look forward to visiting again in the near future.

From the moment we arrived, we felt the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, especially the lush gardens, lovingly cared for by Paul and Michelle, who also look after the resident tortoises with such devotion. A true paradise for nature lovers. Our Sea View Villa was simply breathtaking – spacious, elegant, and always meticulously prepared. Our housekeeper, Stefanie, pampered us every single day with little surprises on the bed and so many thoughtful details. You can truly feel how much she cares about making guests feel special. The food was great, but what really made the dining experience exceptional was the warm, genuine service. We especially want to thank Sofian, one of the restaurant managers, as well as Mohamed, Samir, Sadam, and most of all Cecile, who took such sweet care of us every day with a smile that lit up the room. The beach and pool were absolutely stunning. The sea was crystal clear, the sand soft and inviting, and the pool – a perfect place to unwind. Yes, here and there a little mosaic tile might be missing, but it’s the Seychelles – raw beauty and the gentle wear of paradise are part of the charm. Rody, the wonderful beach and pool attendant, was always kind, attentive, and full of warmth. Our buggy drivers – especially Ryan – made every ride fun with their friendly, joyful spirit. And our butler Jean Yves – what an incredible person. Always ready with a smile, a joke, and genuine kindness. He truly made our stay unforgettable. We left with full hearts and big smiles, already dreaming of our return. Thank you, dear Raffles team, for giving us two unforgettable weeks in paradise!
