I wanted to share my gratitude for the wonderful experience we had during our lunch at Beach Rouge on 09.02.2025. My fiancée and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, especially with the beautiful view. A special thanks to Mr. Ravin and Mr. Yash for their exceptional hospitality. They truly made our visit memorable. Looking forward to returning soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Lux Belle Mare in Mauritius. The hotel itself is breathtaking, with stunning views and top-notch facilities. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service from the staff. They went above and beyond, even allowing us a late checkout due to our evening flight. We felt truly welcomed and pampered throughout our stay. It was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend this beautiful resort!

We absolutely loved our time here! The resort itself is stunning— large, beautifully designed rooms, a chic and elegant atmosphere, and lush tropical gardens that give the whole place an incredible charm. White powder sand beaches with an intimate vibe. The highlight of our trip however was the dining experience at Amari Restaurant. The team is on another level—the most attentive, kind, and genuinely warm people we have ever met. They go out of their way to make sure every detail is perfect, remembering preferences, offering thoughtful touches, and always making us feel welcome. The level of service is beyond five-star—it’s heartfelt, and you can tell they truly care about their guests. And the food? Exceptional. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and made with such passion. This is a place we’ll be dreaming about long after we leave!

Wonderful place, very nice people, excellent food and servis in the restaurants, bars, especially Vijay in main bar👍👍👍😁😁 on the beach also….Just a paradise, we recommend to spend the time here to everyone😁 Enjoy the most beautiful place in Mauritius😁😁😁😁😁😁

Just returned from a good week at the Lux Belle Mare. Although everything was perfectly fine, if you have stayed at Lux Le Morne or Lux South Ari Atoll before, this hotel will be disappointing for you. We went on the all inclusive package which didn’t seem worth it with just one a la carte restaurant included plus the buffet, and even if you wanted a g&t they wouldn’t even include Bombay Sapphire which is a pretty normal level gin to expect to be included at a five star resort (especially when you have drinks like unlimited Taittinger at the Lux South Ari, for example, with no expense spared). It felt a little bit lacking in that five star quality of the other two resorts we have been to. On the whole, we had a “nice” time, but lacking the usual Lux qualities we usually expect.

We stayed at Lux Belle Mar for our Babymoon and anniversary. We stayed here primarily because of Jennifer, the celebrations manager who pulled out all the stops to make this babymoon memorable. She made us a beautiful offer with lots of inclusions that made the trip interesting. The room was well decorated and fun for arrival. The rooms and facilities are all modern with a chic design but rough around the edges. The rooms could use better doors as it lets all the humidity in through some side cracks and makes the room smell musty. There is one big pool and there are some plunge pools at the spa as well. The beach area is white sands and blue calm waters. The restaurants were eclectic and well designed. The buffet restaurant "Mondo" really impressed us at Breakfast and Dinner with sooo many options for starters, mains and desserts. The cold room was just so well thought out. The best thing was the fresh breads and baked goods. All the staff were friendly and helpful at Mondo and the service was quick and efficient. Beach Rouge is the beachside restaurant with a fun design. Both times we went (Lunch and Dinner), the food was good enough, but the service was lacking attention to detail. The waiters seemed confused and quick to disappear when there was an issue. It wasn't too friendly and was just miles apart from Mondo's service. Finally Duck Laundry, the Chinese restaurant, really romantic setting and beautiful design. We had a set menu and couldn't leave without trying the peking duck. The portion sizes were generous and the dessert, cheesecake, was my favourite of the entire holiday. The waiters were also a bit confused whenever we asked questions. The food was pretty good and the service was okay. During our stay we did a few activities which were offered at the resort. We were stuck because of the cyclone and went to the Junkyard art studio and made some fun art, went the the photofanatics lab for a photo editing session as well as one stretching class and one aqua aerobics class. There were many activities offered for free and some paid. We had fun having these options especially because the weather was so sad. One of my favourite places in this resort was the spa. We often went to use the facilities there because it was quieter than the larger pool which is full of kids and families. The staff at the spa were sooo inviting and friendly. The facilities are beautiful and clean and its close to the tea room/library. We had 2 massages and they were both amazing. Shout out to Cynthia who did my back massage, magic hands. The spa receptionist was always greeting with a smile and so accommodating. Loved her. I think her name was Bridgette. I really appreciated the work of the housekeeping team, whenever we called for service or a request it was done quickly and efficiently. Overall, this resort didn't meet my expectations in some service areas but Jennifer made up for it with all her warmth and friendliness. Jennifer made our stay special by planning all sorts of things but we were often let down by the execution of the Food and beverage team's lack of attention to detail. Jennifer was very responsive pre-arrival and during our stay. She is truly a gem for this Hotel. Out of all the staff interactions I had at this resort, none of them were memorable or mentioned their names to me but I will always remember Jennifer. Comparing this resort to other 5 star resorts, I would say that nothing was truly terrible but for this brand to reach its potential and for guests to get value for money, some extra service training at the front office and food and beverage outlets would be necessary. They all seemed confused from arrival all the way till we checked out when they added a strange charge to our bill which was for 4 people but we were just 2 people, no signature either. Disrupts the experience when you have to explain yourself for a charge that's clearly not supposed to be there, logically. Nonetheless, thank you for the team efforts we really appreciate it.

We love Mauritius and have visited many times since 2013 staying at 5* hotels. The climate, island and people are exceptional. In our opinion there are few better places. We traveled for the first time Air Mauritius Business Class which was good. LUX Bell Mare; always wanted to visit this hotel. Upon arrival our room was not ready so we were provided with a complementary courtesy room which was good. Rooms are a good size, well equipped, excellent bed, and what appeared to be two sofa type beds, a/c, balcony, safe and well stocked mini bar. Note; some items in mini bar at additional cost. Really nice beach, however, not on sunset side of the island which is quite a different experience for us. Gardens really nice, well maintained and planted with all sorts of tropical plants. Food is well prepared, however, compared to other Lux hotel experiences, very surprisingly, limited / small fixed daily menu choice - no variation in two weeks. Mondo - buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner essentially the same fare every day. Experience / food score 6 out of 10. Beach Rouge our favourite restaurant at LBM, good music, location and food included in all inclusive plan, however, ….. not included Premium Grill (meats) and fish menus which are at additional cost. Experience / food score 9 out of 10. Amari - not included in All inclusive, overpriced average at best Indian Restaurant. Our experience, poor service with food chucked at us. Experience / food score 3 out of 10. Dress code not adhered too, why have one? Duck laundry - now not included in all inclusive (was in 2022) Nothing special poor service, average food. Experience / food score 2 out of 10. Dress code same as Amari….? Mixology bar - nice bar, good location, great service. Some live music in the evening. Note; some items THE BARTENDERS COLLECTION is at additional cost. The staff are what makes this place. We would like to commend the following staff members for quality of service and friendliness. Mondo; Rohan, Dave Mixology Bar; KimBeatrice, Vijay, Nitin, Bhawoo Beach Rouge; Amit, Yash, Rakesh, Neha, Sawan, Bhavan, Adesh, Kris, Dahgloo, Harrish, Keshav, Shanin Reception; Sanjay, Gisele, Luc This is a family orientated hotel. If you want a quiet, special, romantic and stylish holiday it’s sadly maybe not for you. It’s also worth noting there is a significant influx of day guests at the weekend. Finally, we really wanted to enjoy LBM and the LUX experience, however, it’s not here. Somewhat disappointing not the special, all inclusive LUX experience we are accustomed to or anticipated. Sadly, although a nice family hotel, not for us, we are unlikely to return to LBM. ☹️

Just spent a magical week at this luxurious hotel. The rooms and amenities are second to none and the food is out-of-this-world delicious. The staff are genuinely warm and friendly, especially Adesh, Luc, Rohan, Ashveena and Roshnee. Thank you so much for making our stay so special, guys.

My wife and I visited Lux Bell Mare this January/February and it was so good. The setting, rooms, ambiance, food, staff - everything was so perfect. Shelia and her team were incredible, so friendly and thought of everything. The breakfast is exceptional - a breakfast of dreams. The beach and pool are breathtaking, the spa is fantastic and all the restaurants and so good. Faultless in every way. We will be back and we cannot recommend the Lux hotels and locations enough. Well done!

Unforgettable Stay - Absolutely Perfect! From the moment we arrived at hotel, we felt incredibly welcome. The warm greeting at chech-in set the tone for fantastic stay. Our room was beautiful - spotlessly clean and had a breathtaking direct view of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves every morning was pure bliss. The food was absolutly delicious. Wonderful people - incredibly friendly, warm and always ready to hepl with a smile. We truly appreciated their efforts to make our stay special.

We stayed at Lux Belle Mare for 8 days in March and had a really relaxing, luxurious and fantastic time. The hotel was a one-hour drive from the airport following a beautiful coastal route round the island. The staff on arrival were friendly and welcoming and very attentive showing us the facilities, restaurants, pools and extensive grounds. There was also a quite breath taking private, uncrowded pristine beach with enormous white sands and turquoise sea. Staff were always on hand helping with umbrellas, couches and bringing drinks. Our room was extremely elegant with lovely views over the very well cared for and luscious green grounds. There were 10 restaurants with Chinese, Indian and Lebanese cooking stations, a Neapolitan pizza oven, a deli room and ice-cream bar. Lunches served at the ‘Royce Street’ cabin were amazing. Elvis at reception was particularly friendly and chatty as was Rohan serving at Royce Street. We had an exceptional, relaxed and deluxe holiday in a true paradise setting. We will definitely be coming back and recommending it to anyone

We are glad that we chose the LUX* Belle Mare resort for our wedding anniversary vacation. We were accommodated in a villa with its own heated pool, a view of the beach and the ocean. We had all inclusive package. The villa had a small kitchen with a minibar (wine, soft drinks, sweets, tea, kettle, coffee machine...). There was also a living room with a dining table, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with two sinks, a bathtub and a shower and a toilet. The villa had a small garden with an outdoor swimming pool, shower, covered seating area and sunbeds with beach umbrella. On the beach we had additional sunbeds with beach umbrellas. The food was excellent, buffet breakfast with rich selection. Ice cream and bars are open from 11am. Lunch À la carte, but also the option to take away chips, burger etc. The hotel had a Chinese and Indian restaurant, not included in the all inclusive program. Or it was possible to have dinner at Beach rouge with À la carte program or Mondo restaurant with buffet selection. We were able to use the hotel services (food, drinks,...) immediately after arrival, before check in and also until leaving the hotel, even after check out. At this point we would like to thank and also praise all the hotel staff. They were all very nice, always trying to accommodate and help. We would especially like to thank Mahen, who took excellent care of us all the time and arranged for us to stay longer in the villa on the last day, as we were leaving for the airport in the evening. Another thanks to Girish who took care of us on the beach. But there were a number of other nice people, unfortunately we can't remember their names. The manager, Mr. Suren, also repeatedly inquired about our comfort. So we would like to thank for all the wonderful service.

I don't really know where to start. Everything at LUX Belle Mare has been impeccable from the moment we arrived! The kindness and attentiveness of the staff left me speechless throughout! Food quality was top notch in every outlet and the selection, simply wow, never have I ever seen such wide and rich buffet. The beach sits on this little angle of paradise which you can't get enough. The villa we stayed in was perfectly equipped offering all the amenities one could dream of. A special thanks to Mahen, Girish, Suren and the lovely Sheila for making our holiday one we will never forget.

Stayed at luxe for part 2 of our honeymoon. At first the number of kids around made it feel like a not great place for a honeymoon. Definitely better for families than a honeymoon. That said the facilities are superb- gym, pool, water sports, spa etc are all top notch....

That said the facilities are superb- gym, pool, water sports, spa etc are all top notch. Food was great but the service was the stand out! A really lovely place on the quieter side of the island If we went again to Mauritius we’d try one of the other Lux in grand Baie or Le Morne where they’re a bit closer to the built up areas of the island

We had fantastic holiday at LUX Belle Mare! Our suit was very comfortable and clean. The frendliest staff I have ever met! They take best care of the guests. The food was great at all the restaurants. The landscaping is very beautiful. Thak you for the best vacation ever!

Lux Belle Mare was amazing. We were in need of an overdue break and this hotel did not disappoint. Very clean hotel with a good selection of restaurants within the hotel. The buffer (we did not include this in our stay) was a little pricey for us but we ate in the other restaurants for most of our stay which did not disappoint. The pool is very big! Was filled with a lot of kids at times which could be noisy but the beach is so close by that it was very easy to go there when we wanted a quieter day to read our books, and we didn't feel like we missed out on the hotel as it was so easy to go back and forth! Babita from housekeeping was particularly fantastic, she always greeted us with a smile in the morning and asked how she could make our stay even better. Our room was spotless after her cleaning. Ashna from Mondo restaurant was also fantastic. The first day we got there she saw us wondering around and volunteered to give us a great introduction on the various food spots within the hotel. Every morning that we saw her for breakfast she was warm and welcoming, and was so helpful.
