Wymara Resort and Villas

A well thought out resort. Well trained and very pleasant staff. Restaurants are excellent. We had a great room, an oceanfront studio. Absolutely no complaints! We really enjoyed our stay. Ideal spot for a beach holiday. The beach was easy to walk and beautiful.

Having stayed here in 2016, this hotel has seen an incremental decline since its time as Gansevoort. Service which used to be proactive and friendly, is now reactionary at best with many slips occurring. Facilities and location are great.

Wymara is a wonderful and peaceful resort. The beach is beautiful and the staff is amazing. John made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. He was so helpful and extremely interested in fulfilling all of our needs. Jefferson was a complete pleasure at the pool. He always made sure that we had a shady spot, enough towels and offered us refreshing snacks throughout the day. Wymara offered us just what we needed. A quiet, beautiful place with lovely food and a warm and welcoming staff.

Everyone chimed right in with smiles and full of compliments. From The moment we stepped on the grounds the management staff took control like a yacht on autopilot. We also had the luxury of meeting the finest of men, prascant kateri, what a catch for this establishment. He assured us of a unforgettable experience and delivered in many ways at any given day. The resort is easily the most beautiful on Grace Bay, at least from what we could tell during our daily walks. The food was spectacular and the rooms were gorgeous and clean. However, nothing could match the service. Starting with Issac at the front desk, to Jackson running the catamaran and having our beach chairs ready for us each morning, we truly felt at home. When dining on the property, Wendy was as fantastic of a waitress as one can imagine. And when it rained (poured) for a brief period, Gene ran to our beach chairs to grab our bags before we even realized we had left the bags there! The service truly puts this place over the top. This will easily be our destination in the Caribbean going forward. And they have the top-notch service to thank for that!

Loved it so much, from beginning to end!! On arrival we got an unexpected room upgrade. Instead of a garden room we were handed the key of a one bedroom frontal sea view suite. Check in is not waiting in line at the desk, but you are guided to a beautiful sitting area where you can enjoy your choice of drink while checking in! Very luxurious! Room was extremely clean and comfortable (pillow menu for example). Housekeeping did a great job, when I didn’t wear my glasses, she left me a cleaning cloth for glasses next to my glasses, very thoughtful! Staff very nice, fun and friendly. They even remembered our names and favorite drinks and food. Pool guys are very helpful and friendly as are the people working at the Pink Bar. Especially Kara and Rex. I still regret not bringing my son to the resort to meet in person with Kara :) We had one major problem, which we discovered too late: because it is a cashless property, we didn’t use our wallet. Every time we went to the beach/pool/excursion, we took our wallet with us, except one time on the last full day of our stay. After arriving at the airport to get back to The Netherlands, my husband needed to pay the taxi in cash. That’s when we saw that there were $400 missing… from the 5 100$ bills, there was only 1 left… My husband will call the hotel about this to discuss further actions. It was a big let down for a perfect stay

It was our first time in Turks and Caicos. It's our honeymoon! Wymara staff did well, keeping it special and honestly their customer service/professionalism is amazing. I visited two other resorts during this stay and a few restaurants but nothing compared to Wymara's warm and friendly service. There is always lots of room on the pool and beach for us to relax, not too crowded for February, and Indigo's food is amazing. It's a great resort for couples mainly as it's quiet and not rowdy. We will be returning again to Wymara!

The resort is beautiful and our oceanfront 1 bedroom suite was a great accommodation — 1st floor, walk right out to the beach, spacious with full kitchen and living room area in addition to the bedroom and bathroom which can be closed off! Excellent daily breakfast buffet included. Service is outstanding! Special shout out to our housekeeper, Guileine who did a marvelous job every single day of our stay. Compliments to the front desk/concierge team as well—always seeking to please and insure we had everything we needed. Noting Jay and Neftali! A lovely escape for the 2 of us. If you’re looking for fine accommodations in Turks and Caicos off the beaten track this will be perfect—situated on beautiful Grace Bay Beach but not near “the strip” where The Palms and Ritz Carlton are located.

Wymara is an amazing resort with the nicest people working there. The property is 5 Star all the way with an amazing attention to detail. Indigo is really a gem and would highly advise dinner there. The swordfish was incredible!! There really isn't anything I need to add about the beach as Grace Bay is already one of the top beaches in the Caribbean. Carlo made our stay even better by always being there for us and delivering amazing service and drinks! He was just awesome! Highly recommend this destination!!
