Overall, Windjammers is a nice resort. There are some quirks like any place. Here are my takes:
Recommend reserving the transportation through the hotel to/from the airport. It’s $100/way and worth it. You get an experience driver and a tour guide. The drivers have excellent knowledge of the island and are a great intro to your vacation. The drivers is 1.5 hours from the airport but if you arrive later afternoon it could take closer to 2 hours with the traffic in the city.
Checkin was a breeze. You’re brought a rum punch which was delicious. You’re given the 411 of the resort which was helpful. Unless you’re staying at an Oasis room or a villa you’re gonna need the free shuttle to get to your room. You can walk for sure, but it’s hilly. Walking down not a problem but up was a challenge. The shuttles come frequently and usually not a wait. However there were times where it was like 15 minutes. I was impressed with the drivers ability to navigate the hilly, bumpy, one lane roads. It can be nauseating if you can’t handle motion.
Recommend the all-inclusive option. You’ll see the insane prices for everything. I think you’ll need to spend roughly $300/day to break even for 2 people. You’ll see that’s super easy. You do get a receipt to sign for everything. The resort says it’s for accounting purposes. I think it’s so you leave extra gratuity on top of the 10% service charge. I generally left a bit more since everyone working there was fantastic.
I had a regular room in the hills next to Papa Don’s. The view was fantastic. We had a B unit which was the bottom of the 2 units. We had a large patio. The A unit gets a rooftop. The room wasn’t much to desire. Most of the room was a queen bed. Comfy for sure. The bathroom was interesting. The shower and toilet are in a room. The sink and mirror are just outside it. This was helpful when getting ready. The shower had to small windows to the outside which was weird. No one could see it but it definitely didn’t keep the heat in. Also there was no ledge for shower amenities. The only other complaint about the room was the lack of outlets. All the lamps, tv, etc used most of the outlets so it was a struggle to find spots for chargers. Maybe consider a power strip if you’re coming if you want to charge phone, tablet, and watch for multiple people.
The resort by the beach was nice and you case this is where the money was spent. Pool was beautiful. The beachfront was beautiful. Make sure you get down early to save your seats. That was frustrating when competing with villa butler who throw whatever crap left over night on chairs to save for their guests. The water by all the inflatables in the water was the nicest and there were no rocks. The rest of the area of water was a bit rocky but it wasn’t a problem. The beach chairs were comfortable and the servers on the beach were great. Also no one really trying to sell local products while you relax like on some other islands.
Overall it’s a nice resort that’s far from the airport but that means no random cruise ships invading the beach.

Lovely resort for a chill out holiday; very clean and well tended. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach, the main pool was closed for refurbishment but did not spoil our trip. The breakfast buffet was amazing as were all the restaurants my two favourites were the Indian and the Italian.

This was our first time visiting St. Lucia and we can't say enough. The island is beautiful and people are among the friendliest we've met on any vacation! We were surprised upon arrival to be upgraded to a 1 bedroom villa which had amazing ocean views. The resort is definitely hilly! Thankfully, they have a shuttle that takes you from your villa to main lobby in minutes. If you have bad knees, the stairs to some villas are very steep. They have rubber bracelets that you wear for your key which was nice snd easy. We were on the all-inclusive plan and so glad we were! Prices are very expensive otherwise and we got to enjoy ourselves without stressing about cost. The only downfall was having to sign our check after each purchase. There has to be a better system. Food at all the restaurants was delicious. Everyone greeted us by name at each restaurant. Breakfast buffet had a nice variety but you should definitely try the sit down breakfast at Papa Don's at least once! Cora at 96 Degrees and Elijah at Jammers were our favorite bartenders! He makes a great chocolate martini! When my husband and I weren't feeling well, Elijah kindly offered to make and deliver us some ginger tea. The beach was beautiful. You had to walk a little ways down the beach to swim in the designated area as there are sea urchins found in front of the main beach. But it wasn't a deal breaker. Loved their lounge chair reservation system for the week. You didn't have to wake up at the crack of dawn to reserve chairs. You had your palapa/umbrella and chairs all set for you each day until 10am. The cushiony lounge chairs were the best we've ever had and you could lay on them all day without pain. Hopefully you get a chance to use the water sports equipment. Anthony took us out for a sailboat ride. He'll take good care you! Kayaks were fun too! Volleyball on the beach was my husband's favorite activity each day. He met lots of fun people! The nightlife could use more excitement. They had live music each night, but that was about it. No shows. This is a time share place and there are lots of owners who come each year. Surprisingly, we were not hounded to purchase, which we were happy about. Overall, a great resort for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful beach.

We stayed at WL ten years ago, in a hilltop villa (4 of us) and had an excellent visit. We'd heard that things were not quite as good now (a few reviews online) but decided to give it a shot anyway. We booked 6 nights, all inclusive, in a hilltop villa with pool (sleeps 4). The place looked great, the people were lovely, the weather decent (a shower each day) and the food very good and very varied - we ate in all the restaurants. Least good, we thought, was the Italian (Pap Don's). The live music was outstanding. The beds were comfy, the hot water hot and the shuttles came quickly.
One thing that stands out is that there was lots of room, lots of loungers to lie on and lots of people very willing to help. What a great way to spend a week! Not specially cheap, but definitely worth it.

We enjoyed the steam rooms and had a very relaxing couple massage where I had my finance to experience the hot stone back massage which he enjoyed.
Our MassageTherapists was Miss Shirmine and Miss Stephanie who was very professional and friendly. The other ladies at the spa was very welcoming also.
We will definitely go back when we visit St Lucia again.
Thank you very much.

Overall a fantastic trip as always and we can't wait to return next year.

After last years issues with our villa and a very disappointing holiday, a lot of things had been fixed.
The jacuzzi still leaking badly and had to be topped up twice a day. But that was the only issue we had. The electrics were fine!
Nespresso pods and no nespresdo machine! Our resourceful housekeeper found us one.
Toaster also broken but replaced with a new one fairly quickly.
Housekeeping by Glenda and others were excellent. She is a real gem and with a very fine attention to detail. I wish I could clone her and take her home! She is much appreciated by other fourplex owners too!
Turndown service was good if patchy. On three evenings there was no water cartons. I suspect this was because a very virulent stomach bug was doing the rounds so more people were shunning the tap water!
FWIW the tap water was fine.
All shuttle drivers v helpful and helped with shopping and carrying heavy boxes of wine down the steep concrete steps to our unit.
Housekeeping and maintenance sourced the stuff we needed for a party and looked after us well.
Niles, Lawrence, Heston in the shuttles section in particular went above and beyond.
Front office team and concierges all good. John, Martin etc.
Staff at Jammers were fun and Elisha, Travis and Alex all expert in making cocktails. Vanessa, Omany, Mabel and others great.
But here is the downside. Both at Dragonfly and at Jammers we had to send the food back as lukewarm and cold in the middle. My soup order had thick skin on it and took 40 mins from order to arrival. The beef koftas whilst tasty were cold in the middle.
At Dragonfly the shrimp starters were sent back as it was obvious they had been sitting around or had been batch cooked and then rested. .
When redone they were excellent but at the prices it should be got right first time.
At our second meal at Jammers I asked for my food to be piping hot. It was and was very good. The others of our party had to wait for their meals and then had the same issues re low temperatures when the food arrived.
A real
Pity as I was looking forward to trying different things on the revised menu. But something going wrong in the kitchens….
Sadly husband went down with a bad stomach bug shortly after. Many families were ill that week some for days. Hubby recovered after 24 hours luckily.
At that point we decided not to eat any further food on resorts a precaution so cooked our own or ate out.
Happy hour has been stopped (not sure why) but we did go down at 5:40pm and have a few drinks and chat to the staff. But the atmosphere was lacking as only a few of us around.
The owners cocktail parties were good well attended, and it was nice to get together. Thanks to Jessica for putting up with our many questions!
The new refurbished pool is stunning and I liked the new towels. Aqua aerobics were excellent and great fun, as was my sail with Cursin which was rainy but fun!
I had a great holiday this time and felt that WJ was trying hard. Hopefully the villa refurbishments will continue to bring the resort up to 4-5 star standard across the resort.

My husband and I stayed at this place for a week and enjoyed our stay. The staff were polite and helpful most of the time. Our room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great with a lot of varieties. My favorite was the smoothy bar. The staff there could make any types of smoothy I wanted. We also enjoyed water activities, from sea kayaking to sailing. I would give this place 4 stars if we did not have the following two negative experiences. (1) We were incorrectly charged $200 for the free airport shuttle from and to UVF airport. When we explained to the hotel staff and managers that our package included the free airport shuttle, they refused to refund us the $200. (2) We booked a half-day trip for zip lining through the excursion office in the resort, thinking it would be more reliable and offer better services. We were wrong. Our trip was supposed to depart from the resort at 8:30 am. However, no one showed up until 9:00 am. While the excursion office offered us a full refund, we missed the opportunity to enjoy the zip lining.

There is a major outbreak at this resort that has been going on since January and maybe longer. I was very sick on my vacation. I feel there is poor hygiene here and as a result it’s spreading like wildfire. Yes it’s everywhere right now, but it’s really bad at this resort in particular. The buffet was still self serve when I was there but I hear they have finally switched it. I think that was a hot spot for sure.
Staff were lovely, food was good, resort is picturesque, but I wouldn’t come back. Hygiene at this resort does not meet my standards. Room was not cleaned every day and when it was it didn’t feel clean. Table was sticky, bathroom floors were grimy and floors were sandy.

This was my second time visiting St. Lucia but my first stay at Windjammer Landing. The resort is absolutely beautiful! The pictures on the website does not do it any justice. The view from our villa was breathtaking. The staff are some of nicest people I have ever met (and I have been to a number of islands in the Caribbean). From the warm welcome you get when you are checking in to the "Good Morning" from each person you walk by just made my stay a great one. Our Ambassador was Rohan and boyyyyy he was amazing!! Rohan checked on us everyday to make sure we had everything we needed or answered any questions we had regarding the resort. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. He provided suggestions for town and other activities we wanted to do outside of the resort as well. Two of our favorite shuttle drivers were Niles and Jimmy (I think I even made him smile). All the shuttle drivers are polite and accommodating. With all of the narrow roads and hills to navigate, they drive those shuttles like true pros! Jammers is one of the restaurants on the property and was our go to spot for lunch! The pools are well kept and big enough for everyone to have fun. However the chairs along the pool go pretty quick because folks claim them by leaving a towel or something on it. That wasn't a big deal to me as we just sat at a round table near the bar. At night, there is not much going on at the property. Sometimes resorts would have an all white party or a themed event but Windjammer is more of a relax and chill place. Thank you to all of the staff. They are the ones that make it all worthwhile. Also, i would be remissed if I did not mention Lisa ans Cynara!!! My two fav gals😊. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back!

My husband and I sent a glorious 10 days at the Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences. We opted for the all-inclusive package. It is also children friendly.
Our room was large, modern, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and the pressure was great. Our housekeeper Ginny was wonderful and came every day. The report is on a hill and you can walk to the main area of the resort or dial “0” and have a shuttle service within seconds.
The resort itself is well maintained and beautiful. We had an “ambassador” assigned to us to help with any of our concerns or to make any reservations. Our ambassador was Rohan and he was WONDERFUL, HELPFUL, AND FRIENDLY. By the way, it is Canadian owned. The beach was clean, glorious, and well stocked with many beautiful lounge chairs and umbrellas. The beach staff was friendly and brought drinks and food in an efficient and professional manner. The beach has two bars as well. There were pla
Entry of chair covers and towels.
The resort has two local vendors who are friendly and not pushy. It has a jewelry store and a mini mart. They also have a tours office where you can book various Island tours.
The pool area is beautiful, clean, and busy. A lot of the children enjoyed this area. It is also where some activities took place.
The restaurants were delicious and they were 5 of them. UPPER DECK offered the best steak I have ever had. JAMMERS had the best oxtail I have ever had. PAPA DON had the best sea bass. DRAGONFLY grat seafood especially the red snapper and held a Carribean night that was OUT OF THIS WORLD. EMBERS was more casual but the food was just as good. The staff at the restaurant was very professional and the cocktails and wine were yummy.
You need to St. Lucia as the people are the happiest We have ever met. Outside the resort, the merchants are not pushy. The weather was perfect and warm. The Island’s Pitons was well worth it. We took a private day tour with MORE THAN A CAB and that was absolutely worth it. Also took a Pitons Sunset Tour which was wonderful.
The vacation was memorable and enjoyable.

Windjammer Landing Resort St. Lucia, W.I. The staff at this place are beyond exemplary. Our stay had a few hiccups in the beginning, but smoothed out toward the end. The beds are fantastic. Views to die for. The restaurants are wonderful and the beach is sublime. Water sports folks are the best. After leaving the resort, we were contacted regarding our stay and compensated for the difficult part of our experience. Esie Alexander is to be commended for her absolute genuine concern for our experience. We were in the lowest price point villa and they treated us like royalty and made every effort to make things right with us. We recommend this resort for their honesty and integrity.

Parts of the resort and amenities are showing signs of age, but every effort is made to fix this.
The villa was stellar, the views amazing, and all the amenities are available.
Would have liked better cuisine: generic, watered down North American style menus rather than local dishes were uninspiring.

We went for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. As soon as Rohan from the Ambassador desk heard that it was our honeymoon he took great care of us. He upgraded our room and checked on us most days to make sure everything was going great. He even sent us sushi and wine multiple times to have while we watched the sunset on our villa patio. The food was great and we felt so relaxed after. All of the staff is great, but give Rohan a raise… he really made our trip memorable.

Breakfast was carnage unless you turned up by 8am. Weirdly a cappuccino is an extra cost but multiple pots of coffee are included at the breakfast buffet.
Our room was adequate but the bathroom was very outdated and needed modernising. A couple of times we had no fresh towels and had to request via the hotel app. Toiletries again weren’t replaced so we had to ask for shower gel etc.
The restaurants are good. Great choice of food and easy go book.
The resort really needs an adults only pool. The children were well behaved and will obviously make noise and play around a pool but this would take the resort to a different level.
We felt a bit hemmed in as you couldn’t walk outside to explore. Lovely holiday but not sure we will revisit.

My wife and I came to this place. Don't go. They put us in a villa the shower almost had no water pressure or hot water in the shower. The outside looked like a prison camp with fence and razor wire down the one side. Trash all over the ground and under us. The room needed updating. You have to call for a car to get up and down to the main area which is different. The drivers were really nice. So after a few days they moved us to a better room. Food variety was very limited and they were not at first willing to make me alterations to the menu for standard food. Which seemed to changed half way through the week..not sure why...but still variety was limited. The ocean is full of seaweed growing up in the swimming area. Not much to the pools. We had some take our stuff off the umbrella area and move to the side so they could have it. Told the staff and they did nothing. Their are not a lot of shade area and umbrellas big enough to make a difference. You can take some great pictures but they don't show what really goes on behind the seen. Wish we would have got to Royalton Hideaway instead.

We spent 10 nights at Windjammer in early February 2025, all inclusive package. The transfer from the airport is about 1.5 hours given the poor road infrastructure from the airport in the south to resorts in the north west. The resort location is picturesque with a lovely beach, perfect for swimming. The main pool area is small and busy, mainly used by families with young children.
Unfortunately the resort was in the midst of a Norovirus outbreak. Having previously worked in the hospitality / leisure sector I was surprised at the lack of any enhanced infection control protocols that would usually be implemented under such circumstance, particularly in the restaurants. On that basis we decided to avoid any buffets.
Our room was spacious but in need of some upgrading. Room cleaning was poor given the outbreak, also the replenishment of towels and toiletries was erratic at best. The shuttle service was good given the steep inclines from the resort centre to the accommodation units, we chose to walk down to the centre each day as it was a short distance for us.
Restaurants - We enjoyed Papa Dons, Upper Deck and Jammers. The relatively new Indian themed restaurant, Masala, was poor quality. We chose a desert from the two on the menu to be told that it was not available. We were all inclusive however restaurant prices were surprisingly high if paying as you go.
We availed of the free water sports under our package, a nice addition to the offering. We also visited the Spa for a massage which was relaxing and professionally operated.
Overall a very moderate experience saved somewhat by the location and the general staff team who were helpful and friendly. Would not return or recommend.

The accommodations were just as stunning. Our room was not only beautiful and spacious, but the bed was honestly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. It felt like luxury in every detail.
What sets Windjammer apart is the staff. They make you feel like you’re part of a family—warm, welcoming, and always going the extra mile to make you feel at home. The service was top-notch from start to finish.
The food was incredible. Every meal was delicious and fresh, and the drinks? Easily the best you’ll find anywhere. Whether you’re sipping a cocktail by the beach or enjoying dinner with a view, everything felt thoughtfully crafted.
The beach is the best in St. Lucia—soft sand, calm water, and plenty of space to relax. And the new pool? Absolutely breathtaking. It’s the perfect spot for lounging and soaking up the sun.
I can’t recommend Windjammer Landing enough to anyone thinking about a trip to St. Lucia. It’s more than a resort—it’s an experience you’ll never forget.
