The rooms were decorated tastefully, clean, and the in-room gas fireplace was very nice. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood about 10 minutes from Park City's Main Street. There is a gondola across the street that takes you to the Canyons area of the resort. Service was hit or miss. They definitely need some better employee training. The areas with excellent service: bartenders, concierge, Joseph the shuttle driver, valet/bellhops, and restaurant wait staff. The areas with poor service: the front desk and one of our shuttle drivers. When we checked in, the front desk didn't know that the shuttle leaves on the half-hour after 5 pm (as the valet had told me) and our room was not ready at 4 pm. In fact, many people's rooms were not ready, and the lounge area was filled with many people still waiting for their rooms. When we got to our room late, a maintenance worker was in the bathroom plunging our toilet. Not a great way to start things. Our shuttle driver into town was a last-minute stand-in and dropped us off at the wrong location (town hall instead of the post office) and told us to be picked up there after dinner. We ended up waiting for over 30 minutes and when I called the front desk confused, she YELLED at me. I had high expectations. We left disappointed and won't return. It simply isn't worth the high price.

I must say this is exactly what we needed! The Waldorf is an exquisite establishment. The moment you arrive you are greeted with excellent service. Ski valet service was top notch. All of our gear was ready to go each morning. Just cross the street and you are on the Gondola up to Canyons. Please ask for Dallin over at the concierge desk. He went above and beyond for us during our stay. Any requests we had were taking care of immediately. If you want some of the best craft cocktails you’ve ever had definitely head over to the Powder bar and meet Kate and Spencer. They take so much pride in what they do! Be sure to check the weekly calendar as they have events in the lobby throughout the week. Wine Wednesday and Sushi Friday was our favorites. Be sure to try the complimentary Homemade marshmallow s’mores each night. They are fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Such a spectacular time! We will be back next ski season and we hope to see everyone again!

This is a must visit when in Park City. We enjoyed every minute of our visit. Some favorites were cocktails at The Powder Room and a massage with Rachel at the spa. Dallin, the concierge, was also so helpful & attentive! We will definitely be back!

My husband and I come here every year, sometimes twice a year. This is a very lovely hotel. This year Kristin, the reservations manager went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. We were very well taken care of and the staff was very kind. The ski valet is an upgrade from previous years and was very helpful. This is an amazing ski-in-ski out hotel.

We stayed here on 9/23-9/25/24 in room 6171. It was our third stay at this hotel. We found the hotel to be very good to great and the staff exceptional. Our room was a bit small, but well appointed. There was a Nespresso machine, fridge (no freezer) and wet bar. There is no microwave but there was a electric kettle under the wet bar sink for tea. The bathroom was good sized but has limited counter space. There is decent water pressure from the rainfall style shower. There are no grab bars in the tub/shower. The tub is jetted. There is a fireplace but no balcony. The room faces the interior courtyard and pool. It is far from the lobby (about a 5 to 6 min. walk) . Of the three rooms we have stayed here in, 6171 was our least favorite. The hotel has a great S'mores station and several outdoor fire pits to cook your S'mores over. Parking is valet only ($45/day) and the valet staff were great. We never waited to pick up our car or to drop it off. The concierge staff (Zile) was very helpful in pre-planning our stay and where to best find fall foliage (try N Pine Canyon Rd. off Guardsman Pass). We had dinner in the bar and two breakfasts in the restaurant. Our meals were good to very good and the service very good to excellent. We will stay here again. Tips: If coming from Provo, check to see if the construction on the flyover connecting to I 80 is done, if not come from SLC. The was construction on the road leading to Silver Lake in Brighton and the end of the Guardsmans pass near there (two separate spots) which added an hour to our drive there and back..

Falls far short of Waldorf standards.
Don’t let the name fool you. You’ll pay Waldorf prices for a sub-Marriott experience. First, the pluses. The valets are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Don’t let the name fool you. You’ll pay Waldorf prices for a sub-Marriott experience. First, the pluses. The valets are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, but the room service food was very good, albeit very overpriced (one bagel, fruit salad, two pots of coffee came to just over $100 dollars after all the additional taxes and service charges). Now the not so good news. Don’t expect the luxury you would expect from Waldorf. The overall feel was somewhere between a Marriott and a Courtyard. Canned and nothing special, industrial around the edges. Our suite was not in great shape. The sofa was stained, and deck railing was disintegrating before our eyes. The room must have been 80 degrees when we checked in, but the AC was weak and the windows didn’t open, so our first night was pretty hot. Our deck faced the courtyard pool and relaxation was out of the question. We had Bon Jovi and similar blaring on loudspeakers in the afternoon and early evening. We went to join the fun one day and the pool area was actually empty (not sure who the loud music was for). There were waitstaff for poolside service, but they weren’t waiting on anyone, just gabbing on the side and doing a very good job of ignoring us. We just left that train wreck after 20 minutes with no service. Overall, this place falls far short of what I expect from a Waldorf, and it kind of put me off the brand all together.

We stayed here recently and really enjoyed the hotel. Convenient to Park City and Kimball Junction. Between the two you probably have 40 restaurants to choose from. Only gripe was they need more restaurant options in the hotel itself, but I understand that is coming.
Had dinner there on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in ‘Powder’ restaurant. The chicken sandwich was all fat and cold. When we sent it back with the manager, he disappeared and never returned. We were then charged $34.00 for this inedible “meal” by our server.
