Add to that delicious food, fantastic snorkeling, relaxing spa services, and gorgeous facilities on a beautiful private island. This was the 2nd time we have been to VOMO as we loved it so much the first we had to return. The service is excellent and they will go out of their way to do everything they can to make your stay more comfortable. The food was excellent, the room was comfortable and always clean and tidy. The highlight of our trip was learning to dive - my wife and I completed our Open Water Certificate last year with Hannah and made the decision to return to complete our Advanced Open Water. Hannah was extremely organised and came and found us on our arrival day to sit down to introduce herself and devise a plan for the week including selecting from some incredible dive sites. She was an exceptional teacher, clearly explaining everything required and patiently working with us to improve our diving. It was very clear the passion she brought to her work and to conservation of the reef. We felt extremely safe diving for the first time with Hannah guiding us - so much so that my wife and I decided she was the only person we wanted to do our Advanced Open Water with.

Before I start this review, full disclosure, I work as a helicopter pilot in fiji and I have transferred 100s of guest to and from Vomo Island and most of the Resorts in the momanucca and yasawa Islands. I was given an opportunity to experience all the positivity that I had been told. Firstly vomo is a stunning island with a family friendly vibe. I have. NEVER. had a guest say anything negative about vomo. I fact the amount of what I call. " "Repeat Offenders " who keep returning some over 12 times, git me curious as to why. The main question many ask is. " What sets Vomo Aside from other resorts?" Well. #1, no other resorts offers all year round stunning sunsets from the adults only, Rock's bar and Resturant" and the next morning. You can have a sun rise breakfast on the beach. Other resorts only offer one of these, vomo offers both a sunset, and beach sunrise experience. They are both truly, Pinch Yourselves moments #2, Occasionally Wind happens, let face it!!, Vomo always offers a sheltered beach. As a pilot, I have seen many windy beaches, Vomo is the only island offering shelter beach no mater what the wind does. #3. Excellent snorkeling straight off the beach. The island is situated on the edge of a nutrient current. The coral are vibrant colorfully and alive, And your chances of seeing a turtle in from of the Resort, is higher that other resorts. ( I am a pilot, I see them regular) The food is amazing , and the highest standards and attention to detail can be seen in the rooms. The settings of the buries ensure a truly relaxing vibe I deal with the staff almost daily in my job, and the are truly a pleasure to work with. Justin and Michael ( the managers) are always around to ensure a relaxing stay, however I doubt they would have such an amazing resort, without a dedicated team of locals which they obviously have. I have flown 100s of guests out of vomo at the end of their holiday, I can honestly say, I have NEVER had a guest not want to go back. Or have any form of negative comment Kudos to the Vomo Island Resort, and the great people that have made it what it is. Truly remarkable

The most magical staff and island to visit. At times the adult only areas were so quiet it felt like we had the place to ourselves which was incredible. Semi at the Rocks bar was not only so accomodating he made the best drinks and was always willing to answer our questions and just felt like Ive made a friend for life! You will be blessed to meet Semi. Tim and Zach greeted us on the island and they are the warmest gentle people I have ever met. The snorkelling was incredible the food was absolutely insane and I am a big foodie, the menu changed every day such great quality and service. The rooms were so spacious and I can't wait to come back! Thank you Vomo for the best memories.

I have stayed with my wife at some of the top 5 star hotels globally in almost all of the top Indian Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean resort regions. Vomo Island Hotel stands as a benchmark for all hotels in this category for its service, quality of water activities, excursions and food. Thank you to the hotel and all the wonderful hospitality. An amazing place with so many positives it's hard to know where to start. The staff, gardens, beach, spaciousness, and food especially at Rocks are all superb. The villas are lovely and the snorkelling is very good, make sure you go out to the drop off about 100m off the beach. You really could come here for a week and spend no additional money as non alcoholic drinks, kayaks, daily laundry service, snorkelling trips are all included. We both needed to see the doctor here and she was great. The spa is excellent too. There's an element of 'Fiji time' everywhere on Fiji so whilst you occasionally have to wait for your drink, the rest more than compensates. The staff really are friendly and approachable. The Wednesday music night isn't a fake show of Fiji culture as one might expect but the staff just showing you how they love to cook and sing. And they can sing! Don't come here if you want deference or to show off or to party or if you're noisy and want loud music. The live music at dinner is just local Fijian guitar singing. It's both couples and families here so head for Rocks for adults only, which has a great pool. Having said that all the children and grown ups were impeccably behaved.
