The hotel is pricey but worth it. We had a small issue with our bar bill which had been charged twice but was quickly sorted without any fuss.

We sat on the terrace and had tartare three ways - prawn, white fish and tuna - plus beef carpaccio, followed by cannoli and ice cream. Everything was absolutely perfect, and the quality of the ingredients was extraordinary. Some Etna rose, and service from lovely Lydia, made a memorable lunch. It is going to be difficult for the Michelin starred place to compete.

We stayed here for 5 nights in Superior suite with balcony abd seaview, after spending 2 nights in Palermo and oh boy, we needed this. Such a beautiful hotel with perfect grounds all around it. Our room had a great location, just across from the lobby, a little independent which we loved. The staff at this hotel was always attentive, specially the concierge/front desk staff, always ready to answer any questions. We spent time in the beach, which was very rocky- you can buy sand shoes across the street for 5 euros- and unfortunately we had mostly windy days. Then we moved to the pool most of the time and we had an amazing view, and the pool was so perfect! I love the fact that our room had 2 bathrooms, each with their sink and toilet. One had a shower and the other one a bathroom, so my husband and I had choices. We had turned down service every night which was so fantastic! You can use their shuttle service to visit the town which is very convenient due to the very winding roads with limited parking. They also offer a 90 minute ride to Isolla Bella where people go snorkel, we didn't do this tour because the ocean just look very windy.
