Overall, an excellent holiday. Well done to the team working at the hotel who have created a lovely relaxing environment. The one Moan We will start with our one major gripe. Many tour operators and the Marriott website boast about the multiple hotel dine-around programme (with sister Marriott hotels). When we were in Barbados (Feb/Mar 25), all but one other hotel was shut for renovation! So much for the 15 restaurant dine around option! We had the one at Treasure Beach and the pair at Waves. As for websites, Virgin Holidays, TUI, Marriott, SHAME ON YOU for mis-leading customers. [Well done to SAGA holidays (who we didn’t use) who clearly pointed out the renovation programmes and what would be available.] The Room The room was newly renovated and comfortable with good aircon and comfortable beds. The turndown service was odd as it happened a couple of times only. Plenty of storage space and a good hot bath and shower. Would be nice if the bath had a shower attachment, so you could sit in the bath and wash your hair, rather than having to use the shower. But only a minor comment. The Food Breakfast is a buffet but is supplemented with a small but good a la carte menu. Typically, we ordered something off the menu and if we were peckish, grabbed something from the buffet. Lunch was from the menu which had about 10 items to chose from, four items changed daily so plenty of choice. Evening meal was five nights a la carte (changing options every night) and two nights buffet (Weds and Sat). Guests aware of this could then arrange which nights to dine elsewhere. The buffet was OK, a la carte more interesting. There were only three choices for the evening meal (Meat/Fish/Vegetarian) I would like to see a few more choices added which would give more variety, and stop that feeling of having to choose something because there is nothing else on offer. However, overall we were very pleased with the food which was excellently cooked and presented. There were sometimes waits for food as it is prepared fresh in the kitchen. The serving team are attentive and fun, but some do rely on memorising your choices (and any variations e.g. “no cheese please”) which we found were occasionally forgotten. The Clientelle I guess it changes, but we had around 70% Brits, 15% USA, 15% Europe. Age demographic is definitely towards the retirement end! Its is, after all, an adults only hotel, so no families. The Pool/Sea Wall As mentioned by a few others, we had the problem of people getting up before dawn and reserving bed-chairs from the pool/on the sea front. And the nationality of these people was…..English! (So, time to stop blaming other nationalities!!). The pool itself was small but was cleaned every day and was a nice temperature. The sea front chairs do get the odd splash from the waves on the other side, so be aware! The Bar and Evening Entertainment The Bar was open pretty much all the time, with a good selection of cocktails. Beer was from a can (unlike Waves which was draught), standard wines served were Pino Grigio, Cabernet Sauvignon, Prosecco and a nice dry Rose. It’s a small hotel, so you never wait that long to be served. The Bar is a focal point and you often will meet and chat with folks over a drink before/after meals. Most nights there was the typical entertainer format of an individual singing/playing along to backing tracks. Some were better than others, the young girl on the Wednesday (we didn’t catch her name) was outstanding. Paynes Bay Beach The beach can be challenging to get to at high tide – unfortunately some of the sand has been recently washed away and for an averagely able person, it’s a case of scrabbling up and down over a concrete wall and up over some large boulders. Less able bodied folks won’t be able to do this, but can wait for low tide. There were no hotel chairs on the beach. The sea area is sensibly broken up into dedicated swimming and boating areas. There are currents pulling you around so be sensible and you will be fine. We swam in the sea every day, sometimes more than once. There were a few things to see when snorkelling although the sea current does pull the sand around making it a bit murky on some days.

We went to this hotel a few times back in the late 80’s. It was wonderful then. As with everything these days we can’t say the same now. It was fine for what we needed for a couple of days prior to a cruise. I’m sure for those on a package deal it was good value being all inclusive, if not, it was over-priced -which seems the case for most of the hotels on this stretch.

We have just returned from Treasure Beach where we had a wonderful relaxing holiday. The staff here are absolutely superb - well done Marriott for picking the best of the best from your hotels which are currently closed. We had our favourites, but to be fair every member of staff we encountered was friendly and welcoming. Refurbishment is very nice, in keeping with the style of the building and the rooms are nicely appointed in soft greys and taupe colours with white. Bed was super comfy and the mix of aircon with ceiling fan kept us at a perfect temperature for sleeping. Bathroom too, nicely appointed with shower cubicle and a bath kept beautifully clean by housekeepers daily. Our shower did have a few marks on its ceiling which looked like mould (possibly from a leak above) which we did highlight to them and shouldn’t have been there after only two months being open. Pool area small but plenty of Sun loungers for everyone and once the early morning bed baggers had gone home after our first few days, there was no rush to reserve sun beds. Sun beds were new and a bit different from the usual padded ones, but the advantage was that they dried very quickly after the inevitable Caribbean showers and you weren’t sitting in a soggy lounger for long. Towels were plentiful throughout the day for you to help yourself. Beach was easily accessible right by the hotel or further along towards Sandy Lane too. Food was really good indeed for an all inclusive. Breakfast was a buffet plus some a la carte items to order. Lunch changed halfway through our stay from buffet to an a la carte menu, some items changing daily, which was lovely. Dinner was a la carte for 5 nights and two nights buffet but they are looking to reduce the buffet to one night only. A la carte dinners were 4 courses and beautifully presented - we didn’t have a meal we didn’t like. There were just a few things for us that would have made it perfect: 1) a mirror in the room other than the only one in the bathroom 2) not running out of Sauvignon Blanc! 3) not allowing smokers to smoke so close to the outside dining area and the bar We would love to return and can definitely recommend if you like a small low key resort where everyone is friendly and the service is exceptional.

We stayed for 11 nights, Feb’25. This was our first time in Barbados and also first time at an AI resort. Overall we had a great holiday and I’m sure we will return. The hotel has been nicely refurbished and was very clean in our guest room and public areas. The staff are exceptional throughout always greeted you with a smile and took the time to chat. Being totally honest we now know that AI is not for us. In normal circumstances the other hotels in the group are available for alternative dining options but due to the ongoing renovation programme the only alternative option available was at Waves. The Treasure Beach food at breakfast & dinner was perfectly acceptable but just a very limited menu. Other than the night it was a buffet (which wasn’t exactly extensive either with choices) the main course dinner options comprised a choice of 1 fish dish, 1 meat & 1 vegetarian. All well presented and tasty but just not enough choices. We decided to eat out on a few nights simply because the offering was so limited. The pool area is ok, the poolside loungers are reasonably comfy but for this standard of hotel I think that the previous mattress loungers are more appropriate. The outdoor area that is set up with loungers along the sea-wall is actually very neglected and really lets the hotel down. This is a lovely area to sit in but the state of it is disappointing. A Guest Relations gentleman happened to ask me one day how our stay was going and I said very well however just look around you, “do you think this is an acceptable image for the hotel. To be fair the debris has almost certainly been left by guests however the same empty water bottles and litter has been here for 6 days so clearly no staff are taking the time to sweep/clean/tidy the area, they couldn’t have missed the debris for so many days”. Next day it had been cleared thankfully. It looks like that same area was abandoned when the hotel reopened as the ‘wall’ and landscaping including the pebble border & small sandy area need some attention/finishing off. A couple of days work for a good tradesperson would have it sorted! Marriott/Treasure Beach - just a little bit more effort to make this an even greater resort.

All hotels have become ridiculously overpriced in Barbados, and that might be partly due to Marriott buying up so many. And I hate that so many are All Inclusive which stops you exploring the restaurant scene. Certainly Treasure Beach was better than expected, but Paynes Bay has become really rundown. Hotels each side of it are now rubble. There's a house next door with drilling going on. And it's all going to take years to return to normal, if at all. The beaches really aren't that great. Food was quite pleasant at Treasure Beach and the staff friendly. But a few days is more than enough at such a small hotel in a basic area. And we really could have done without the constant music. To listen to Bob Marley's Greatest Hits over and over from breakfast to late afternoon is ridiculous. The next day it was a repeat of something else. Does no one realise that luxury = peace and the sound of the sea?

Just returned from a wonderful two weeks at Treasure Beach with my husband. The hotel reopened in December following a programme of refurbishment. The hotel is adults only and provides all inclusive dining. We stayed in room 314 the Pelican suite which was a beautiful room facing the sea with a balcony with room for two sunbeds and a lovely plunge pool. The room was spacious and had a lovely comfy bed. The food was great with a great selection. All meals were buffet or a la carte. There was an opportunity to dine inside or on the patio. The meals were prepared by some great chefs and there was a good variety. Special mention to the desserts which looked and tasted lovely. The hotel had a small pool and a beach side location with onsite water sports including snorkelling, water skiing. The beach was clean and the sea a beautiful blue. The sea is occasionally choppy and it has a flag system to ensure you are safe. There is a water taxi which takes guests to other hotels in the elegant group so you can enjoy their facilities. Unfortunately Waves was the only hotel that was open whilst we were there due to the refurbishment programme. There was some building work being done next door at the tamarind which was noisy at times however it didn't spoil our holiday. The best part of hotel was the wonderful staff who cannot do enough to help you. They genuinely want to get to know you and care that you have a great holiday. we can't mention every one but just a few include Chantelle, Sabrina, Sandy, Wade, Quasi Sofia, Andrew but these are only a few they were all fab. We also loved Alana on the reception desk. It was also the first time we have ever noticed the hotel manager coming round to talk to the guests to ensure we were having a good experience and to thank you for coming. We met some really nice people while we were there which helped to make it a great holiday and we would love to return. There is only one small inconvenience the sunbed situation. We said we would never get up early to put towels on beds but to get a beach bed it involved a 6 am alarm and we only managed to secure beds with an umbrella once in two weeks.

This is a small, horseshoe shaped enclave with a modest pool. One outdoor bar and one indoor/outdoor restaurant. Spacious accommodations in 3-story white buildings with balconies and West Indian touches. Most rooms have a lovely view of the pool or ocean. Minimalist decor in the rooms in shades of warm beige and cool gray. Ours consisted of a sitting room, large bedroom, and a high-end 4-piece bathroom. Beds were extremely comfy. Good AC from a pair of mini-splits. The recent renovation left some rough edges -- a leaky roof and almost zero water pressure in the tub, as if a rushed contractor installed a lavatory valve in the wall. The shower was excellent but the wall-mount dispensers kept falling off. Food is average by Marriott standards, as is often the case in the Caribbean due to the cost of shipping. Breakfast and lunch were buffets, adequate for our needs. Dinners were okay. The menu included 3 starters and 3 entrees that varied nightly. Two nights are buffet style. The small all-day menu was excellent. Bar service was sometimes slow but pours were decent. Beer is limited to Banks and Caribe, both nice lagers. The staff was far and away the best we’ve had in the Caribbean. Polished and welcoming with only a couple of grumps. Pool is small and deep, very clean. Grounds were small but landscaping was gorgeous and immaculate. There is chaise seating around the small pool, along the front seawall, and 6 or 8 further chairs on the sliver of available beach. Chair hogs were an issue here. Water crashes into—and occasionally over—the seawall. Very relaxing. On the calmer bit of beach, the water is spectacular and calm. There you can catch an hourly water taxi to other Marriott properties but we didn't use it.

We just returned from 10 fantastic days at Treasure Beach . This newly renovated AI Hotel has just recently reopened and as you might expect there were a few minor things but the wonderful staff are listening and acting upon them . The rooms overall are excellent, the food varied and tasty in a home cooked style. We loved : The location right on the beach at Paynes Bay. The small scale of the Hotel and intimacy generated . The lovely staff - Dennis , Wade , Andrew and Shontelle get a special mention. We liked: The rooms and our view was fab. Bajan style cooking in particular the varied fish dishes. We disliked: Nothing! We will definitely recommend and will return

Great stay at the Treasure Beach resort. Just recently completed a year-long refurbishment so everything in good order. The staff are outstanding - very friendly and welcoming and always smiling. The resort is small with only 35 rooms and centred around a small pool and bar area directly overlooking the beach. The proximity may not suit everyone but it makes for an intimate feel where everyone congregates and makes friends easily. Older crowd of well-traveled people mostly from the UK. Evening entertainment was well matched to the group and high quality as were the food and drinks. Definitely recommend staying here.

We have recently returned from a 7 day break at Treasure beach, the week before Christmas. As it was the 1st week open after a partial refurbishment we expected a few hiccups but as these were rectified quickly and efficiently I will not dwell on them . The staff are amazing from Sabrina and Kwaysi bringing drinks to our sunbeds and Shenai, Sherie Anne & Joan who looked after us in the restaurant! Far too many staff to mention individually, but a shout out to Andrew (English). The food was cooked fresh and it was good to have some Bajan dishes. On a couple of occasions breakfast and lunch took over an hour to come to the table but again maybe due to 1st week opening. The beach, pool & sunbeds all lovely, good quality drinks. The hotel was under half occupancy so I hope the same service can be delivered when full. Mark & Lesley

We stayed here over xmas and only as The House was not available. First of all the staff are truly excellent,kind cheerful and attentive. Limited menus but food acceptable. The main issue we experienced was supply of drinks,running out of stock and using unbranded alcohol. Staff were actually from The house which was still being refurbished and they tried so hard to please. Remember also Treasure beach has only just been remodelled,so there were teething issues. But rooms are fine and any problems resolved quickly. We will come again,but stay at The house next door.

My husband and I had a wonderful 10 nights here at Treasure Beach Hotel. Although we had one of the garden view suits (1st floor), we were really impressed with the standard of our suite. On entry to the suite was the living area with a sofa, table and doors onto the balcony. There was also a sink, fridge, kettle and coffee machine. The bed was an extremely generous size and the bathroom had both a large shower and bath and ‘his and her’ sinks. The air conditioning in both the bedroom and living room was very efficient. To note, there was one plug socket in our suite that could take a standard UK plug without the need for an adaptor. The housekeeping staff were very thorough and kept our suite clean and tidy- I don’t know how they made our bed so immaculate (even after I had attempted myself!) The food here was amazing! Very impressed, especially as it was an a la carte menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. The dinner menu seemed to be on a rolling weekly programme and the lunch menu changed every two days. Breakfast was the same menu every day but with plenty of choice, both hot and cold, I especially enjoyed the eggs benedict. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The hotel had a programme of events for guests to enjoy/take part in should they wish. My husband and I done some pre-breakfast Sunday morning yoga and also done an hour of mandala art. The Saturday night singer over dinner was very good. Because Treasure Beach is part of the Elegant Hotel chain, we were also able to make use of the other sister hotels and also eat lunch/dinner there. There is a water taxi that departs from the hotel next door (the Tamarind) that serves the sister hotels (Waves, Crystal Cove and Colony Club). Colony Club is the only one that is not included as an all inclusive option- you can eat there, but you will need to pay extra. Watersports (paddle boarding, snorkelling, kayaking, water skiing, banana boat) are also offered from the Tamarind and are included in the all-inclusive package. The location of Treasure Beach is perfect- direct access to Paynes Bay Beach, that you can actually walk all the way to Holetown along (some wading through the shallow bits of sea involved). I don’t think I would ever get tired of looking at the crystal clear, blue seas and soft, white sands-stunning. At the time of our stay the hotel was at half occupancy as the other rooms were undergoing a renovation. This is a small and intimate, adult only hotel and suited us perfectly, we would definitely return if we got the chance. Thank you to everyone that made it a special trip for us.

We spent a lovely relaxing 10 nights at the Treasure Beach. Our suite on the ground floor was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The hotel was very under occupied while we were there, so it was very intimate, there was never any trouble finding a sun lounger, but of course you always get some guests that go out early in the morning, so they can have the same beds every day. We loved our walks along the beach and the pool was just the right temperature. The food was the best that we have had in the caribbean. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all A la carte. I found the breakfast disappointing, I would have preferred to have a more buffet style breakfast, as I don't like eggs, maybe another choice like smoked salmon or Avocado on toast. The dinners were very good with generous sized portions, we never had any need to do the dine around as the meals at Treasure Beach were so good. The staff are all lovely and friendly, to many to mention, they are like one big family, although there was one barman who didn't have a name badge, it seemed like he didn't want to be there and never made eye contact. Not sure what the hotel would be like in peak season, as the bar area is very small, and I think they would find it hard to cope if the hotel was fully occupied. We were disappointed that we asked for a late check out for 1pm, and was told we could only have the room till 12.30, never had that in any other hotel before, and as check in isn't till 3pm and the hotel was so under occupied it seemed rather strange. Not sure if Treasure Beach is up to Marriott standards yet, but they are planning to have renovations done later in the year. When we checked out the receptionist said we would received a questionnaire, which we usually do from Marriott within a few days but after nearly two weeks we haven't received it. All in all a lovely stay, maybe one day we will return.

Having first stayed here in October 2022, when it was good but needing some improvement, my Wife and I decided to go back for a second visit. WOW, what a difference, lots of great new staff and improvements in just about all areas. On arrival where Alana, Sabrina and Destiny look after the front desk and that first rum punch or Banks beer while you check in you just know that the place feels so right. It a small resort, just 35 rooms, with just the one bar where Kyle, Reshawn and Odine look after the guests so well with great drinks and cocktails and Carl the beach ambassador who looks after the lazy ones like me with drinks and snacks at the pool and beachfront and of course his infamous Sundowner cocktails. Thanks you Guys The biggest improvement of all is the food, with a choice ot outdoor or indoor AC dining, there are two new key members of staff, Joan as Restaurant Manager and Nicholas the amazing new Chef. Al la carte for breakfast, lunch and dinner is really nice to have and as it not available in the majority of AI hotels it really is a big bonus. Nicholas has redone all the menus, keeping some of the best bits but with improvements throughout and he is not through with the changes yet his food is evolving as he gets feedback from his guests. Just love the Eggs Benedict for breakfast ! Joan has a great waiting staff in the restaurant they are all very friendly and attentive, Sophia and Lashonda deserve a special mention as they really do go above and beyond to look after the guests. The resort is well cared for with sunbeds and sunshades undergoing a revolving program of cleaning, the grounds are well kept, with the garden and shrubery well looked after and the housekeeping is just great, always an abundence of towels for both room and pool/beach, plus there is a nightly turndown service which is again a nice bonus. Being a Marriott/Elegant resort you have the advantage of dine around at the other resorts which is great as you can visit most of them on the water taxi which is provided for guests, we often used it as a pleasant boat trip up and down the west coast stopping off for lunch or a drink at the other resorts, although prior booking is needed for the dine around. Finally it would be unfair to finish without mentioning Tracess the Manager who is very visable onsite, approachable and reacts to guests requests, thank you Tracess and all your staff for a marvellous holiday and we will see you again very soon.

Just back from a relaxing week at this amazing hotel - it’s small, comfortable and intimate in a fabulous location right on the beach - the rooms are private, well equipped and spacious and the food is outstanding especially dinner. It’s obvious that the young chef Nicholas is passionate about his job and as a result we have eaten some of the best hotel food we’ve ever had. Lunch and dinner are a La Carte however the menus are limited but there was always something to suit - I never heard anyone say anything negative about the food. Contrary to other reviewers we didn’t have any trouble finding a sun bed and staff were always available to help find some shade if required. The staff from the manager to the gardener were amazing- going the extra mile to make our holiday really special Some minor negatives - we quickly made friends with other guests but desperately needed some comfy seating so we could sit and chat after dinner - the seating at the bar was not especially comfortable. Bar and waiting staff were a little hit-and-miss with some excellent service and some not so good (especially at the weekend) There was a distinct lack of entertainment and what did happen was not publicised very well- a notice board or similar would really help Overall though there wasn’t a lot wrong with this fabulous hotel and I will definitely be back at sometime soon.

My husband and I had the most relaxing 5 nights at Treasure Beach. The hotel is smaller and feels more intimate. The service and staff were wonderful and always very friendly. We were very surprised by the superior standard of the food. Dinner in particular was outstanding. An a la carte menu offering fresh and innovative meals from their fabulous chef was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting going from the pool to beach and sipping on delicious cocktails.

We recently stayed at Treasure Beach for two nights before embarking on a cruise from Bridgetown. Last year, on our first post-pandemic trip south, we stayed at The House, also an adults-only Elegant Hotels, one of the other Barbados properties Marriott acquired in the fall of 2019. So, Marriott has had these hotels for over three years, and they do not yet meet up to the standards one expects of a Marriott in general or an Autograph Collection Hotel in particular. First, the service: We arrived at the hotel at 3 pm on a Thursday afternoon. Since check-in time is 3 pm, we did not expect any delay. First, there was no one at the desk. Two staff members wandered by and looked at us, one of whom said breezily, “Someone will be here.” Hmm. Finally, that someone arrived. This is Barbados, after all, so we don’t expect staff to have the same approach to service as an urban Marriott, but we at least expect to feel welcome with a smile etc. This was not the front desk approach at this hotel. In any case, our room was not ready. This was a head-scratcher. It was check-in time. So, we waited at the bar. Eventually, at some time after 4 pm, we decided that we had been forgotten, so we sought out the staff member once again and were told they’d let us know. When the room finally was ready, there was no apology, no inquiry about how they might make this better, and they had, in fact, forgotten us—we had to find them again to find that, yes, our room was ready. The next day when we sought out a front desk person, once again, there was no one to be found. Fortunately, the staff at the restaurant and bar were far friendlier and far more service oriented. And the food here was surprisingly good. Now, for the premises. Well, the suite we had on the ground floor was a bit reminiscent of a prison cell. It had ugly cinder block walls and strangely unattractive furniture. The whole place needs to be refurbished. There was a collection of mismatched, dilapidated chairs around the little pool (nothing like the photo on the Marriott website), and the cushions provided for them were in serious need of reupholstering or replacement. Given the prices Marriott is charging for these all-inclusive suites, the value just isn’t there. We certainly won’t be staying here again. (PPS We are Lifetime Platinum Elite members fo Marriott Bonvoy, but no one at the hotel noticed.)

Just back from 2 weeks at Treasure beach - lucky enough to have stayed here 3 times and as an Adult only ‘Treasure ‘ - hotel is a little tired but the location and special feeling can forgive this - but looking to the refurbishment which understand is happening later this year ! Knowing this means we will be back again hopefully in 2024 ! Only negative is and scope for improvement is that the Lunch time menu needs to be expanded and varied as too narrow and repetitive! The food is very good but sure can develop this please ! We only ate in 3 nights and feel guilty going out as the being food is hood but the island offers such great choice of restaurants - perhaps instead of fully all inclusive this could be looked at and offer a half board / drinks inclusive option.. when adults only chances are people will want to enjoy the island offerings . management were brilliant and lovely to see the presence around the hotel along with a great team looking after front of house ! See you in 2024 !

Having visited Barbados many times and found eating out very expensive we decided to opt for all inclusive this time. We weren’t disappointed. The food here is very good. No complaints at all. Cocktails were also good. All the staff were very friendly and cheerful. We had a standard garden view room which was very spacious with a great shower and very comfortable large bed. The water sports were all included even the water skiing. There was a ferry boat running between all 4 of the hotels all day which was a great way to get around rather than travelling on the very busy west coast road. All in all a great holiday.

What a shame … a lovely small hotel in a great location… a little paradise but spoilt by the rude servers / & restaurant female mangers . We go to holiday in Barbados regularly as we say it’s a beautiful Island but more importantly with beautiful friendly people ….. this experience has now put me off … many other beautiful places & islands to visit in the World. I don’t appreciate being ignored when waiting for breakfast, dinner & lunch & having eyes rolled at me when I ask very politely for my orders ( this was observed by others … all smiles to some guests faces ( not us ) but as soon as the guest walked away the eye rolling began . We visited Crystal cove & Waves … same experience but not as bad as Treasure beach …… is this a Marriott staff problem or now an island one ? Don’t think il return to find out . I’m never one to complain & I used to serve tables my self just had to write this as it really did dampen my big Birthday celebrations.

As the name suggests, the hotel fronts onto the beach at the start of Sandy Lane. Boutique style rooms include a larger seating room, separate larger bedrooms, and a fantastic bathroom containing a sunken bath and double shower. The staff and the service are fantastic. They are polite and engaging, and nothing is too much trouble. The pool and bar alongside the resteraunt are beautiful. The pathways leading to the beach are in need of a bit of TLC but I believe a hotel refurbishment is on the cards. All in all we can't find anything that's not great about this hotel. It won't be for you if you want late nights and parties but if you want a peaceful, relaxing environment with a location second to none, beautiful food and fantastic staff this is the place to visit.

The Hotel has been subject to criticism of late, especially concerning the provision of sun beds. And yes, if you want the sun bed of choice, you have to be up shortly after 6.00 am to 'bag it' with your towel etc. But there are always sufficient to go round: just by no means all with the beautiful view of Payne's Bay. The Hotel and Staff are doing the very best they can to cope with this. Each morning after the stormy high tide had washed right over the sea wall soaking the sun beds and depositing sand, rocks etc. the staff were prompt with shovels and brooms to put things to rights. The problem here is not so much the Hotel as the rapid pace of coastal erosion on the island(s). Nine years ago there was a lawned area in front of the wall and sun beds on it and on the beach beyond. Now that has all gone. One assumes that having been taken over by Marriott Hotels plans are afoot to tackle this. So less moaning about the staff please: they are all very very friendly and anxious to please their guests. Food and drink are fine: and if you get bored with it (as we did with the 'Manager's Barbecue': it isn't) you have a choice of three other hotels for dinner in the former Elegant group. Rooms are comfortable and well stocked and the wifi is massively improved on 2020 when we last visited.

Recently my husband and I vacationed at Treasure Beach. From the moment we were picked up at the airport by Hubert's Taxi Service, we were in vacation mode. Upon arrival at TB, Hermanius greeted us warmly and after completing required paperwork, we were shown to a lovely room overlooking the ocean. The room was clean, the towels bright white, the king bed comfortable and refrigerator stocked. We had a small balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee, the ocean view and the majestic mahogany tree. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly and made all the difference in helping us feel at home and that nothing was too much to ask. The food was very good, the variety -- either menu or buffet -- was tasty and beautifully presented. There was nightly entertainment that was also very good, especially one young woman (Tiffany) who was such high caliber that she could have held her own at a cabaret in NYC. Whether it was a daily walk on the beautiful beach or a refreshing dip in the pool -- we relaxed knowing that we could take out a jet ski or a paddle board if we were so inclined. Bottom line, Treasure Beach is a top notch Marriott destination.
