Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort

Everything is good I just got out of the yoga class is amazing and very relaxing I recommend that, clean, incredible view with the sunset view, tickbar the service is great and music, comfort bed and clean, you can found everything in the kitchen

Wow! Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Our 2 BR pool/ocean view suite was great! Clean, modern, and quiet. You can move a table and chair out to patio like I did to compliment the lounge chairs. The lagoon pool is fantastic. Loved it. The Tiki Bar was a favorite hangout for us. While we made a day trip and ate lunches away, we enjoyed all three of our dinners at the Tiki Bar. Tried lots of delicious drinks and food. Highly recommend the Dirty Banana drink, fish tacos, coconut shrimp and be sure and have them bring down the Key Lime Pie served up at the Butterfly Cafe (for every meal, ha!) Halah, Ana and Ben took great care of us! On our last morning, yoga with Lyne was a great way to enjoy our last relaxing time left at Tranquility Bay. We will definitely recommend to all of our friends.

Can’t recommend Tranquility Bay enough. Yoga on the greens with Lynne was the best. Twice a week is offered. Great relaxing way to start off. Will be glad to come again and again Tranquility bay is always a great place to stay with lots to do and see nearby.

Yoga on Thursday & Sunday @ 8:00 was perfect! I was going to find a studio and was so happy they were here at the resort! Lynne led a beautiful, peaceful yoga class, with options for newbie’s, beginners and advanced! It was the best way to start my morning! Wish they offered it one more morning. The resort is so peaceful, relaxing and a real retreat! Butterfly Cafe is a must, excellent service and great food! We loved the relaxation pool and having the porch to relax in the evening!

We loved how private the villa was along with the serene view and experience. Additionally, the on site yoga was wonderful. The tiki bar and beach games were so fun. We were celebrating our honeymoon and hope to return someday to celebrate an anniversary!

This was our first time at TB and it was very nice. I could recommend this property. The property has everything from regular hotel type rooms, to 3-bedroom condo style rooms. We were in a condo room that was ocean front. Most of their rooms seem to be ocean front. Pros: Overall cleanliness of the property and their Tiki hut had excellent food and drink selections. Loved the fish tacos. Three pools are offered each with different rules. There is an adult only(serene) pool as well as a family pool. TB's location (in the middle of the Keys) does provide for easy access to going East or West. Cons: They let that seaweed gather too long and it made the beach inaccessible. (They brought in a landscape company to clear it away and it took them all week - They were using tractors that had to go by us (in our beach chairs within 5 feet) literally - every 5 minutes.) They never even got it all cleared when we were there. They should completely clear the seaweed and then at least twice a day run a rake over it or the beach is not usable.) There is no good place to go walking. If you want to walk you need to go on Hwy 1, just outside the facility. Hwy 1 is a 4 lane road that is very busi at times. The wifi- in the facility was extremely slow and it was not password protected. Other than the beach seaweed problem the property is really nice.

Beds comfortable. Spacious. Clean. Staff was pleasant. Had a great yoga session with Lynn on the putting green steps from our villa. Weather was blustery and cold so the tiki bar was shut down while we were there. The larger pools are heated but not enough for 55 degree weather....

Our waitress at the butterfly cafe was super nice and attentive. Front desk staff were helpful and nice.

Our intake reminded of that commercial with Coach Saban when we were greeted with list of “DO NOT…..” all of which needed to be read and initialized. Overall:Great for families, not so much for couples. Families staying in waterfront units appeared to be having a much better experience. Staff is surly, at best. Closed the restaurant in the mornings so sit down breakfast is not an option. Dining in the room is not easy as there is no table. Single rooms lack a closet, merely hooks on the wall. Room was not very nice: broken toilet lever, bathroom cabinet knob broken, etc. Nothing major but at these prices one expects more. Claims to be a resort and charges a resort fee but then charges extra for everything- kayaks, etc. Sad to say, cannot recommend.

Amazing property!!! Great guest services and our unit 36 was the best placement on the property. I would definitely go again and stay in unit 36. They offer beach volleyball, tiki bar with live music and an upscale restaurant on property. It’s a must go.
