The resort is the best in the Caribbean. It has natural beauty, has perfectly manicured grounds, and the most genuinely friendly staff. The tennis and golf facilities are superior. The food is extremely good with very high quality ingredients.

Tortuga Bay was 5 star all the way, from the time our plane landed, until our departure at the airport. The VIP experience that comes with the reservation was worth it in itself. We were freeted at the plane, then wisked through customs & immigration via a private lounge. They retrieved our luggage & wheeled it outside where our driver was waiting to take us to the hotel. Our checkin was seamless. An ambassador was waiting for us outside the lobby, then we were shown around the property & taken to our villa. We had a Jr Suite, ocean view because ocean front were all taken when I made the reservation, but we could still see the ocean from our large balcony. The room was large with views from 3 sides. There was also 2 bathrooms which was great; 1 had a jacuzzi, the other a shower. We had our own golf cart & 2 bicycles that stayed parked at our villa. We used the cart to go all over Pintacana resort. The staff there were the nicest, most professional I have probably ever encountered. A big shout goes out to Carlos & Antonio for their amazing help & hospitality. They make you want to come back. We got to love them after just 1 week. Our driver, Alejandro, was another great addition to our trip. He shuttled us to restaurants, etc. There wasn't one bad employee. I could go on & on. It was just the best experience & we have traveled all over the world. The service is second to none, from the beac to the veach bar, to the pool bar to yhe restaurant. Everyone also speaks such great English which was a big plus for us. We just loved every minute being there. It made us not even want to leave the hotel.

Golf carts to get around the gated community. The ecological reserve is included and has beautiful cenotes. Celebrated big birthday here and they had a birthday sign and balloons in room upon arrival and later in the week a small cake was delivered to the room just to make our stay personal and wonderful! Definitely go above and beyond. Will definitely return to this gem.

This is an outstanding hotel in a gorgeous location with a fabulous, attentive staff. Being 10 minutes from the airport and their VIP arrival/ departure service adds so much to the visit. The weather is ideal with great breezes. The adjacent La Cana golf course with 27 holes is terrific and was lots of fun to play. The nearby Corales golf course is one of the prettiest courses I have even seen- fun to look at but we did not play the course. So much to explore by walking the expansive beaches, and riding in the golf cart and on the bikes that are included. Be sure to visit the nearby Ojos Indigenas Ecological Reserve. Can't wait to return to this relaxing 5 star property!

A spectacular resort and we would give our highest recommendation. Everything was beautifully executed. The room was immaculate with a gorgeous ocean view. The staff were all attentive and kind. The food was excellent. We would love to go back!

Tortuga Bay is a beautiful and tropical paradise! From the moment you are met at the airport to the moment you have to depart the VIP service is exemplary! The luxurious Villa accommodations in a peaceful atmosphere on a wonderfully private beachfront property exceeded what we had expected and more! The Private Embajadores services are exceptional and all staffing at Tortuga Bay are courteous, respectful of your privacy, and go out of their way to make your experiences perfect; from Day Housekeeping to Night Turn Down(and chocolates), transport needs, wait staffing, and the list continues. Both Bamboo and La Yola restaurants are exceptional. A round of golf at La Cana directly on the ocean, with our tee time being managed through the Embajadores services at Tortuga Bay, was a once in a lifetime experience as well. Without question a recommendation to enjoy the spa offerings through the Punta Cana Resort as it also was amazing! We hope to go back someday as our stay at Tortuga Bay was not a vacation at a resort, but a vacation that was set amongst the beauty of Punta Cana with the staff at Tortuga Bay making us feel we were among family.

This was one of the most relaxing trips ever. The service was impeccable, from the moment we stepped off the plane we were greeted by VIP service that whisked us through immigration via a lounge, and we were at the hotel within 15-20 min of getting off the plane. Our primary concierge Winifer was outstanding and went above and beyond several times to get the hot tub temp adjusted, and to surprise us with champagne and balloons in our room for our anniversary. Everyone at the hotel had the most pleasant attitude and were constantly trying to be helpful but not intruding. Jojo was a superb help at the beach bar and offered many great food options that weren’t always on the menu, such as fried snapper (AMAZING) and salt-baked mahi mahi. And finally the room and grounds were impeccable, it felt like we had the resort to ourselves most the time, and we enjoyed long bike rides, many dips in the pool, long walks on the beach, and a trip to the ecological park next door. We were in heaven!

We had an unbelievable experience at Tortuga Bay. Sadly, we only could stay for three days, I wish it could have been three weeks! The resort is very small and private, with beautiful villas, an amazing beach, lots of activities nearby (golf courses, spa, the lagoons…), but by far the best thing is the service and the people. You have “ambassadors” looking after you who go out of their way to immediately fulfill your every wish and who are always just a WhatsApp away, the service and bar staff are amazing, and the housekeeping team is super creative and prepares little surprises like bubble baths with petals and candles during turndown service. The extra touches are incredible - for example, you get to use beautiful bikes that come with your name plate, which you get to keep at the end (the name plate, not the bike 😊)! The staff is so friendly and treats you like royalty and family at the same time. We ate at Bamboo and La Yola, and both were great. We also had snacks and drinks at the pool bar. There are so many people to recognize, and i am sure i will forget someone, but i will do my best - Carlos Andres, Fary, Anderson and Valentina from the "ambassador" team, Jhonson and Alcedo from the breakfast crew (Alcedo is also an amazing sax player!), Angel and Rocky from the Pool Bar, Manuel and Miguel Angel from the Beach bar, Willy and Fabian from La Yola, and Edinson and Pedro who drove us around. I travel a lot, and I have the privilege of staying in a lot of luxury hotel and eating at high end restaurants - but i rarely had an experience like this, where people are not only clearly trained to the highest standard, but genuinely enjoy making their guests happy!

As one who does not leave reviews regularly, we decided to because our stay at Tortuga Bay was AMAZING! After much research we decided on Tortuga Bay for my wife's birthday. In addition to the beautiful property it is, the people there are its biggest asset! Leandro, who waited on us each day at the Bamboo restaurant went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make my wife birthday incredible and became a lifetime friend! His co-workers Gregory, Alcedo and Jhonson were incredible as well! At the beach JoJo immediately welcomed us to the beach, made us feel at home and he always will be considered a friend (mi amigo) Ana Y, our housekeeper kept our room clean and comfortable and was always pleasant and cheerful! We travel frequently and will most definitely return to Tortuga Bay!
