The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa

I had an amazing stay at The Westin Grand Cayman and wanted to recognize two outstanding team members who made my visit even more enjoyable. Jessica at the front desk provided a warm and friendly welcome during check-in. She was professional, kind, and made the entire process smooth and effortless. Her positive attitude immediately made me feel valued as a guest. I also want to sincerely thank Destiny for her exceptional assistance with my Marriott Bonvoy points. She went above and beyond to help me, answered all of my questions with patience, and made sure everything was taken care of. I truly appreciated her knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to assist. The excellent customer service from both Jessica and Destiny made a lasting impression. My wife and I travelled to Grand Cayman to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The property and the staff were simply amazing. Specially amazing was the breakfast buffet we had each morning and more specifically was Sanjeeva who not only made our omelets and eggs each morning but offered great places to eat on the island as well as things to do. This is simply one example of the great people on the island and at this resort. highly recommended !!!

It's our last night here celebrating our anniversary and we wanted to thank the staff for making it so memorable. Ollie, one of the managers was so amazing. He went out of his way to make our trip special on multiple occasions. Thank you Ollie! You are top notch mate! Overall though the hotel is very nice, very clean and on probably the nicest beach i have ever been to in my life. The water is crystal clear with white sand. The location of the Westin has got to be the best on the island too. Its centrally located on 7 mile beach with lots of restaurants and shops near by.

I stayed at this hotel for six nights at the end of June and had a wonderful experience overall. We stayed in Room 434, an ocean-facing room with a larger balcony. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the view overlooking the pool and beautifully maintained hotel grounds was lovely. The service throughout the resort was exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely polite, making us feel very welcome during our stay. The breakfast was very good, although I found it to be quite expensive. For lunch, my favorite spot was the outdoor casual restaurant. The food was excellent, the portions were generous enough to share, and the conch fritters were absolutely decadent! The beach is beautiful, and there were always plenty of beach and pool chairs available, making it easy to relax without having to reserve a spot early. If I could suggest a few improvements, I would love to see a larger fitness center with more equipment, additional morning fitness classes, and the addition of a pickleball court. I also found the prices for paddleboard and kayak rentals at the activity center to be on the expensive side. Considering this is already a premium-priced hotel and not an all-inclusive resort, I think those rentals could be more reasonably priced. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. It’s a beautiful property with excellent service, and I would definitely return.

The place is perfect for a family. The food is very good. It’s not insanely priced. It is totally oriented towards his families. Only complaint is we were titanium Bonvoy and they gave us a room facing the parking lot. Also the guys in handle the towels at the beach need better management. They appear not to care about anything. Beyond that everybody else’s five stars.

The Westin was a lovely resort to stay in. We were there for an anesthesia conference and stayed a little longer to enjoy the island. It provided everything you would want at a resort on Grand Cayman...a nice pool, beautiful beach, excursions if you want, restaurants, cafe, and fun activities. I took advantage of the morning yoga session on the beach and the sauna/steam room at the spa. There are plenty of activities for kids to do too. We had a pool/partial ocean view and it was great. There is also a small fridge in the room so you can keep your drinks cold.

Truly an exceptional experience! I first stayed at The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa two summers ago in May. I have a friend on the island that I went to visit, and I didn't want her to feel pressured to host with her busy work schedule. The weather was absolutely perfect! Not a single drop of rain during the day. I've lived in the Caribbean and have traveled it extensively, and the water on Seven Mile Beach is spectacularly beautiful and, in May, was very calm. As a Marriott Ambassador, breakfast was included along with drink coupons. I was nervous as I have several food allergies, but the omelette chef and entire staff were so accommodating. They even used a separate (just-washed) pan and utensils for my meal. The food was delicious. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. I was upgraded to a partial ocean view, and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony having drinks, watching the sunset. The views from the hotel and beach are amazing! They have themed nights for dinner and have activities as well, such as movie night. During my first trip, I learned very early on to get to the beach very early (6:30 am or 7:00 am if you want a front row chair). The best part of the beach is the food and drink service that comes straight to you. Red Sail Sports even picks you up for excursions right from the beach at The Westin! The staff was very warm, from the very first person you encounter to waitstaff, housekeeping, and everyone in between. I don't typically return to the same travel location. In fact, I have never done that before, but found myself rebooking the Westin again last summer. This time in June (Tripadvisor only lets me go back as far as July). There is something very special about this island and its people that keeps drawing you back. During my second stay, I was upgraded to a Beachfront Lanai Room, which made my stay feel like I was living back in the Caribbean. Nothing beats walking out your own door and straight onto the beach. I wish I could give this hotel and its wonderful staff 10 stars. Remember how I said I don't usually visit the same location twice? Well, I have booked again for a third time this summer! I guess, never say never.

I want to give a special thank you to Arun, who went out of his way to help me and some other guests very late at night out partying. He kept coming to make sure we were OK, if we needed water, make sure we are in a safe location at the hotel. Make sure that nobody was bothering us an insured that we made it all safely to our rooms. Arun has made this trip at 10 out of 10 experience. I would definitely come back again with my family.

The Westin is right on Seven Mile Beach and is a very nice property. From the hotel to the beach you pass a couple of pools and a poolside bar, then you hit the beach where there are tons of chairs. If you want to sit in the front row you better be out there by around 5am although they say you aren't allowed to reserve chairs. There is a coffee shop, sushi restaurant, an outdoor bar food joint, and two indoor restaurants so theoretically you don't need to leave the resort but with all the great restaurants on the island you should get out and explore. We rented two ocean front floor rooms which walk RIGHT out to the beach which was awesome.

I didn’t get her name, but she had on a green shirt. I wanted to share a lovely moment I observed during bingo on Wednesday . A little girl was struggling with her bingo boxes, but she stayed very polite and tried her best. A little boy in a blue shirt kindly stepped in to help her, and it was very sweet to see them working together. I thought it was a wonderful example of kindness, teamwork, and positive behavior, and I wanted to make sure it was recognized. Kind regards,

My family stayed in Nov-Dec 2025. We initially booked the sister property Sunshine Suites but due to renovations we were moved to the Westin for the duration of our stay (at Sunshine Suite rates). We were estatic with this as we had planned to spend the majority of our time at the Westin pool and beach anyway. My kids (10 and 8) LOVED it. It is simply breathtaking. While food/drinks on site is spendy, there are plenty of alternatives nearby. However, kid drinks at the pool are actually very reasonable! What made our experience enjoyable was the event staff responsible for pool-side kid activities during the day/evening. Particular shout out to Shirlando who absolutely rocked it and went out of his way to make everyone feel welcome.

The Westin is a beautiful hotel located right on the beach and only about a 12-minute drive from the airport. We rented a car and appreciated that parking was free. Driving on the left side of the road ended up being much less intimidating than we expected. We booked an island view room, which overlooked the parking lot. Our SNAs were not approved for an ocean view upgrade, but we still enjoyed our stay. The room itself was nice, and the AC worked exceptionally well. That said, with the daily resort fees and taxes, we ended up spending around $650 per night, and I’m not sure the overall experience justified that price. Poolside service was very slow & inconsistent. One thing we found odd was that the volleyball net was only put up weekly during the scheduled activity time instead of being available for guests throughout the day like the other resorts. We asked if they could set it up for us to play a game and we were told no. For travelers looking for better value, you can stay at Sunshine Suites, their sister property, for roughly half the cost while still enjoying access to the Westin amenities. Overall, Grand Cayman is a beautiful destination with amazing beaches, and we had a great time visiting.

The hotel was very nice;however, it is showing some wear and tear that could be easily repaired to maintain a refreshed look… ie: broken fixtures in lobby bathroom, broken pieces missing from wall hanging… it sounds minor, but this is a relatively expensive property and could benefit from a little attention! We had a small snafu at check-in, but was finally remedied. My advice would be to find a week without conventions… we typically book our beach trips the first week of May to avoid families/ children and crowds… we are retired, we encountered 2 conventions… front row beach chairs had to be claimed by 7 am or were nonexistent… We needed down time, and we found it, although very loud and busy! Beautiful stretch of beach for walking and clear waters! At Tortoga Grill, the salad with fresh grilled grouper was a fav… the best breakfast was the Coffee Exchange where Andrea Powell was outstanding! Does the woman ever sleep? This shop is her domaine, not just breakfast!Her service was best we received for our entire stay! The Beach House restaurant was a beautiful experience, quite delicious with outstanding service from our server, Noah. Please pay close attention to the exchange rate and the included gratuity… a cocktail billed at $23 is actually $30 USD… this adds up quickly! Our trip was lovely, but it will not warrant a return visit.

My wife and I stayed at the Westin Grand Cayman on Seven Mile Beach for 4 nights during our anniversary trip, and the experience ended up being one of our favorite vacations we’ve taken together. What stood out most about this resort was not flashy luxury or nonstop entertainment, but how calm and restorative the entire environment felt. From the staff interactions to the beach atmosphere, everything felt intentional, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming. The location on Seven Mile Beach was excellent. The beach itself was never overcrowded during our stay, and we never felt pressured to rush out early to save chairs or umbrellas. The water was incredibly clear with very minimal waves, making it perfect for relaxing, swimming, and snorkeling. One of my favorite parts of the trip was simply spending an entire day in one of the beach pods with food and drink service while listening to live music nearby and watching the sunset later in the evening. The sunsets at the Westin deserve special recognition. Nearly every evening felt like a perfect photo opportunity. Whether we were walking the beach after dinner, sitting near the water, or eating at Tillie’s during sunset, the scenery constantly felt cinematic without trying too hard. The combination of white sand, calm water, palm trees, and changing sky colors made it incredibly easy to disconnect from stress and just enjoy the moment. The staff throughout the resort consistently made the experience better. We arrived to champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries in our room for our anniversary, and throughout the trip the staff always felt attentive without being overwhelming. One small detail we noticed was that we seemed to be seated at the same breakfast table each morning at Ferdinands, which may or may not have been intentional, but it added a personal touch that we appreciated. The breakfast buffet at Ferdinands was excellent and became part of our daily routine. Fresh omelets, waffles, fruit, pastries, rotating hot items, and great service made it feel worthwhile every morning. We also enjoyed the convenience of the coffee shop and pool/beach food service throughout the property. A few things future travelers should know: Grand Cayman is expensive, especially once you factor in the CI to USD conversion and automatic 18% gratuity. Resort dining and taxis can add up quickly. The island overall is much more relaxed than nightlife-focused, which we personally loved. When I return, I will absolutely book an ocean-view room with a balcony and reserve the beach pod for more than one day. Overall, the Westin Grand Cayman felt less like a busy resort and more like a place designed to help people slow down, reconnect, and fully enjoy where they are. By the end of the trip, neither of us wanted to leave.
