A very warm comfy inn that's in a small town that is full of probably more inns than any other town of its size in the country.

We've stayed here several times in the past and there's a reason why. It's because the service is always excellent, the food is always excellent and it's just a very comfortable place to stay. In the summer they have a nice pool which obviously is frozen quite well right now in the winter. Prices aren't cheap anywhere from generally about $275 to $400+ depending on peak seasons obviously. I would say that accommodations border on luxury. The interior is somewhat like an Adirondack Lodge. Very homey and warm. And one of the things you don't see very often that they have here in the lounge area they have a real honest to goodness wood burning fireplace. Many of the rooms have gas fireplaces but I still always love a wood fireplace. Food in the dining room is excellent. Always has been. If I were to say an improvement they could start to vary the manual a little bit because it doesn't change much. We were here on Labor Day weekend, and outside of a chef's special the menu is pretty much the same.

My husband and I recently had a 3-night stay at the Wentworth. Our first night started out a bit rough as we had some issues with our room, but the staff really went above and beyond to fix things. Thanks to them we got the relaxing vacation away from the stresses of work that we really needed. The restaurant staff were lovely and we enjoyed breakfast every morning. We had dinner one of the nights we were there and it was delicious as well. The new bar area is so much better than where it had been previously and is a great place to hang out. Needless to say, we can't wait to go back!

This hotel is extremely charming. We had not stayed here since pre-pandemic, but were surprised in the major upgrades to the lobby and dining. The meals we had both breakfast and dinner were superb. I would say some of the best dining in the Mount Washington Valley.
They updated the rooms and the furnishings recently as well. The bathroom was slightly dated, but very large and clean.
Bonus - wood burning fireplace in the lobby!
The overall experience was excellent.

Property appears to be recently updated. Nice ambience and dinner was excellent. Planned to get a night cap after we finished dinner about 8:40 p.m. because we were told at check in that the bar/pub would be available until 10:00 p.m. Although a gentleman was standing behind the bar as we approached, we were told that the bar/pub was closed because no one had been there in a while. In our experience (and we travel frequently), this isn't the level of service that is provided at upscale/more upscale inns/hotels, especially when your property is located somewhere a guest has few, if any, other food and beverage options. Also, the fire in the lobby appeared to not have been tended in some time and was almost out so considering all of the foregoing not exactly a welcoming environment to linger when the outside temperature is in the single digits. The person at the front desk did not seem to be concerned that we were not satisfied, had no explanation for why what she told us was not accurate, and didn't offer to do anything to rectify the situation. It felt as if the property had closed for the evening and that we were being sent to our room. That experience isn't what we want and not the level of hospitality we would expect and therefore we will likely not return.

On previous trips to the White Mountains my husband and I have stayed in the North Conway area. This trip we wanted a quieter, less commercial location so after researching our options we chose The Wentworth. We were both thrilled with the decision. Our room was spacious, comfortable & clean and had plenty of storage. The gas fireplace was a nice touch. The pantry with beverages, a keurig coffee maker & various treats throughout the day was a special touch we both enjoyed. There was a good selection of teas, coffees & even hot chocolate. From the homemade granola & muffins in the morning to the warm freshly baked cookies in the evening we felt so spoiled. The fridge in our building - Arden - was out of order, but it was just a very, short walk to the main building to access the cold beverages & gelato.
The breakfasts in the dining room were delicious and our servers both days, Girl & Jean, provided impeccable service. The included yogurt, fruit & pastry table was another nice touch, but I must say that my favorite dish was the crème brûlée French toast (which Jean told me was made by chef Bobby)! I wish I could make it at home it was so amazing.
We will definitely return to The Wentworth for our next White Mountains vacation.

Overall the price of the room was not in line with the quality provided.

My wife and I stayed at the Wentworth for a 3 night weekend and it served as a wonderful base from which to explore the fantastic fall foliage of the White Mountains.
Despite the roads and crowds being very busy during the days throughout the White Mountains, the Inn or Jackson never felt crowded, noisy or overly busy . Our room was comfortable, well equipped and of good quality.
We paid for the B&B package and were impressed with the available options, as well as appreciative of the items available for free from the "pantry", including cookies, crisps, soft drinks, coffee and even breakfast muffins.
We dined at the inn one evening and whilst a little more expensive than alternatives had a good dinner experience also.
Would highly recommend for both the hotel and Jackson in general as a base for exploring this incredibly scenic area, with the Kanc, Crawford North, Franconia Notch, Echo Lake, and Pinkham Notch all easily reachable within a reasonable drive.
P.S. If you're after some lunch, the J Town Deli just up the road offers a wide range of deli options on the go or to eat in.

Charming inn and wonderful staff. We stayed in the suite with private hot tub and found it lovely. Breakfast was delicious. Outdoor area with fire pit was also a treat.
Loved the cozy lobby area with leather sofas and big stuffed chairs. Wouldn't improve anything!

We stayed at the Wentworth for 3 nights on half board. When we checked in we were given a warm welcome on arrival and a detailed explanation of what our package entitled us to. Our room was on the 3rd floor in the main building. The room had everything we needed. A lovely comfortable bed and the shower had plenty of hot water. The food and the restaurant were the highlight of our stay. Everything we had was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The waiting staff were polite and knowledgeable. The only complaint we had during our stay was the sink had no plug in it which makes it quite difficult for shaving and a wash without wasting the water. We went down to complain about this and asked for a plug to be delivered to the room. There were no plugs in the hotel to replace it. We asked if they could take a plug from another room but they said there was no spare rooms. This went on over our 3 days and in the end we gave up complaining. I would advise if you are wanting to dine there to book for each night as the restaurant gets very busy and if possible go for an early booking.

The Wentworth shines in location and staff as well as lots of little extras, Coffee, beverages, snacks, and treats are available all day long in charming little kitchenettes in each building. The special treats vary by time of day while drinks, candy and ice creams are always available.
Breakfast was delicious, served in the main dining room. Included in our room price, there was a continental buffet as well as a choice of hot menu items. Large lounge area with knowledgeable bartender and good selection of spirits. We had a ball one evening playing cards in the lounge and ordering items off both the bar and full dining room menu. Thanks much to Trevor who kept us well supplied in food and drink!
We spent lots of time on the porches, as did many others. Great gathering spaces if you’re traveling with friends, as we were.
Just a fun resort stay across the way from Jackson Falls. We’d go back any day.

Our first time back to The Wentworth in 7 years. It did not disappoint. Beautiful, clean room. Well maintained facility all around. We had dinner in their restaurant 2 evenings. It was superb. As good as we remembered. Breakfast was included in our room package, and the breakfast was special not the eggs in a chafing dish kind of breakfast. Jackson Falls is just a couple hundred yards up the road. Countless nearby hiking trails. We didn't play golf but the course looked in good shape. There is something for everyone. We love The Wentworth!

We were impressed with the staff, their professionalism and courtesy towards their guests. We had an issue when we arrived (AC not working on room) and their staff was extremely helpful. In no time we were relocated in another room.
The restaurant is incredible. Quality of goods and service deserves a perfect rating.
The condition of all facilities is excellent. The owners really want to give a extreme experience. Lets say that this is not an ordinary Inn. This is one of the top Inns perhaps in the country. We do not play golf, but for those looking for a great place to stay and play golf, this is the place. Jackson falls in at a walking distance and there are other restaurants close by.
We already booked our July stay. Totally recommend this Inn.

A beautiful, relaxing stay
The rooms were clean and beautiful as was the whole inn. The staff members were all very nice, but the bartender was outstanding. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the outside spaces as well, especially all the flowers.
We will definitely recommend the Wentworth and would stay again ourselves.
