The hotel is definitely an aged one but has been very well maintained and has elegance all over. I was initially upgraded to a skyline grand deluxe room which was a spacious room. Later on after 2 days, I was given a one-bedroom suite which was simply awesome. The butler service is very efficient and the staff was marvelous. The hotel has a good location. The only letdown was the breakfast which was not bad but I have had better ones in other hotels in Japan. Overall a superb place to stay.

I would have rated this property a 3 – if it were flagged as a Marriott As a lifetime Titanium member with over 3000 nights at Marriott properties we have stayed at many St. Regis properties over the years. This is not a St. Regis property. We are currently staying at Osaka property, having checked in two days ago. Upon check in we were told our room had been “upgraded” to a “city view” (not sure what that means). Upon arriving in our room, my wife immediately commented on the poor condition of everything from the entry door to furniture, to countertops. The overall maintenance of the property is extremely poor. Once ready to leave for dinner, we attempted to lock valuables in the room safe, which we do with every hotel stay. The safe did not work, we the control panel was completely dead. We called guest services and were told they would send someone immediately (we had to leave) to address the issue. Instead of sending someone that could fix the problem they sent housekeeping, likely assuming we were incapable of operating the safe. Upon realizing the safe was inoperable, the housekeeper conveyed she would have to call engineering. When asked how long it would take for someone to address, we received a blank stare. We opted to wait until we returned to have someone address, locked our valuables in our luggage and put the “do not disturb light” on at the door, which meant no one would be in for turn down service. Upon returning for the evening, we were told engineering would not return until after 10AM in the morning, after we were scheduled to depart for a tour in the morning. Upon expressing my frustration at the reception area with the gentleman who check us in, explaining in detail what transpired, I received a blank stare. Make sure you pack a sleep mask if you intend to sleep past sunrise. The curtain, in addition to being in poor condition, do not black out the room and sunlight streams in upon daylight The hotel advertises coffee service in the morning. The first day we scheduled, and the coffee arrived as scheduled. The second day we ordered the same service (pot of regular coffee and two cappuccinos). One cup of coffee arrived vs a pot. We requested a pot of coffee and after twenty minutes and no coffee we needed to depart for breakfast to arrive before cut-off. The breakfast offered is mediocre at best, not of St. Regis standards. The service level is horrendous. Do not expect a server to ask if you would like a coffee refill, you’ll need to flag someone down if you’d like more than one cup. When I finally went to the entry stand to request a refill I received a blank stare. This property does not warrant the St. Regis flag, nor the rate it demands. The staff is very well trained at returning a blank stare when delivered critical feedback. I would strongly recommend seeking other five-star properties in Osaka.

My husband and I stayed at the St Regis in July 2024. When we first arrived we were very pleased with the staff and entrance and check in area remind me a lot of a Ritz Carlton but when we got up to our room you can tell that it is for sure not a St Regis property. After doing some research by pulling up my GPS it shows that the property used to me a Sheraton !!! And does it show. The room is big but very outdated. It seems as if the owners of property renovated downstairs and left the upstairs a Sheraton. If you are looking for something more luxury please be aware of this. The staff was all very nice and helpful and location is great. My husband and I did go to the saber champagne opening one evening and that was very entertaining.

Guys just checked out from St Regis in Osaka, and I should say this was a bad experience especially for Ambassador Elite with Residences owner status. Was expecting a 5 star service instead of this. Concierges and Guest Relations are not experienced and not professionals, always forgetting things, I send my inquiry at 13:00 yesterday and didn’t get a reply till the time we came back to hotel at around 19:00, today morning they forgot to check something for me at all, since yesterday evening. Air Conditioning in the room can’t be adjusted, only on or off, becomes quite chill is it is on for some time and becomes hot when it’s off. Butler didn’t explain their butler services. Breakfast is fine but not great or tasty. What can I say, generally nice view and good room only.

This hotel is located just above Hommachi Station Exit 7 that offer subway ride just 2 station away from Osaka Station or Namba Station so it is very convenient to come to/from the airport by train. Check in process is very fast and the this hotel recognize the Elite Bonvoy status very good as they offer free breakfast in addition to the welcome gift. The check in associate also informed that they have upgraded the room for my stay. The suite room is spacious with separate living room and bedroom. The bed is also very comfortable. But I felt that the storage area for the luggage is a little bit too small and the automatic lamp in it like to switch on and off just by little motion. The bathroom is stocked with many bath amenities and it is refilled everyday by the housekeeping staff. Breakfast is served as a semi buffet concept with the main course choice of Japanese or Western course and the buffet served the appetizer and pastries. All the option that I tried from the menu taste good but there is lack of variety in the buffet and the menu so it can become boring for longer stay. The service in the restaurant during breakfast is friendly and they are quick to clear the plates. Overall this hotel offers good location in Osaka and elite recognition

This place is just spectacular. The rooms are amazing with high ceilings and excellent quality furniture. The St Regis butler expertly made our coffee and a h day upon request. The bathrobes were wonderful. Each day they have a champagne reception with the bottle opened by a samurai sword. It is a great experience. Concierge is friendly and knowledgeable. The bell staff picked up our luggage promptly and the food quality in the restaurants was first class. All in all, a superb experience.
