There are loads of places to relax - beach, pools, cabanas - so you never feel crowded. If you are wondering if you should go - the answer is yes. From the moment we arrived, we felt attended to like never before. Every single person knew us by name. Suggestions were made that we didn't even know were possibilities. From baths made by our incredible Butler team good morning, coffee delivery and surprise cordials left in the room, we were in great hands with Kapo and his peers. At the pool, we were delighted by cold and Frozen treats delivered just as it was getting a little warm. Mango granita with chamoy, delicious fruit paletas, And prompt bar service whenever we needed it. We absolutely loved Toro, and thought it was well priced for the high quality food. Drinks were thoughtfully curated and weren't your typical Resort sugarblasts. Have a question? Lean on your butlers. Our Butler team was incredibly easy to reach via Whatsapp, always responsive, and always "solved for yes" The resort is beyond gorgeous, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. Photos do not do it justice. We can't wait to come back.

What a beautiful place. The rooms are gorgeous and set up nicely. Loved the details in the rooms. Extremely comfy beds and pillows. Very clean. I’ve stayed at quite a bit of St. Regis properties I’d say the service at this location is not as on point as others. They don’t really go out of the way to get things for you and are very inconsistent with service. The restaurants were nice to eat at. The breakfast was not really worth the upgrade but it was a ton of food options if you eat a lot in the morning. The margaritas were inconsistent and they ran out of certain brands of tequila and didn’t have more in stock. The ocean was quite smelly and had these tiny bugs that bite you which was quite annoying. There are also spurs to watch out for if you step on one it really hurts and gets stuck in your foot. One of the pools was closed when I was there which made the only pool open very busy and kinda annoying to be at. People had their own music playing on top of the music the hotel was playing. They brought out a ton of floats that took over the pool. Didn’t have that upscale St. Regis feel more of a trashy pool party vibe.

My partner and I left The St. Regis Kanai Resort feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. I rarely write reviews, but this stay was so extraordinary that I couldn’t let it pass without sharing. As a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member, I spend over 250 nights a year in hotels, with more than 150 of those at Bonvoy properties. It takes a lot to stand out, but this experience exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Rebeca, Alejandro, and Erika, who made check-in seamless. Even with the resort fully booked during the holiday season, the atmosphere remained calm, exclusive, and never felt crowded. Our Deluxe King room with a terrace, though described as the standard accommodation, felt anything but standard. The thoughtful design and spacious layout made it feel luxurious and far beyond what we expected. The butler service was exceptional, with Jesus, Jose, and Brandon always available and responsive via WhatsApp. They coordinated with housekeeping to ensure our room was cleaned at the perfect times, and their attention to detail made everything feel effortless. Before our couple’s massage at the St. Regis Spa, we experienced the hydrotherapy circuit, which was a highlight on its own. The spa assistants guided us through each amenity, ensuring we understood how to make the most of the experience without being overbearing. They brought us water at the perfect moments, had fresh towels ready, and even dried our swimsuits while we showered. These small but thoughtful touches made us feel completely spoiled and set the tone for an incredibly relaxing massage. We also did a separate hydrotherapy session at The Edition, which features a uniquely tranquil indoor set of steam, sauna, and cold plunge facilities. The serene design and quiet ambiance made it a wonderful complement to the St. Regis experience, offering a different but equally rejuvenating way to unwind. Dining was another standout part of our stay. At Toro, we were expertly cared for by David, whose service elevated the already incredible dishes. Chef Richard Sandoval’s burrata salad, flaming salmon sushi roll, and short rib tacos were all highlights. Over at Chaya, Alejandro guided us through a delicious dinner, with the homemade pappardelle standing out as a truly exceptional dish. Breakfasts at Riviera were always a delight, thanks to Raul’s attentive service. One night, we ventured to Kitchen at The Edition, where Gabriel provided top-notch service, Jacob, the manager, was wonderfully engaging, and the shrimp tacos were perfectly cooked and flavorful. One of the most memorable experiences was the salsa-making class led by Tenerife (“Tene”). She brought so much energy and enthusiasm that it became a lively, engaging experience we’ll remember fondly. The adults-only Beach Club was another highlight, offering a peaceful escape with a serene atmosphere perfect for unwinding. A special thank you to Juan, the General Manager, whose incredible dedication was evident throughout our stay. He seemed to be everywhere at all hours, ensuring everything ran smoothly and interacting with guests to make sure they felt cared for. His tireless commitment and attention to detail truly set the tone for the exceptional service across the resort. The St. Regis Kanai is more than just a luxury resort - it’s a masterclass in hospitality. Every detail, from the personalized service to the beautifully designed spaces, reflects a deep commitment to excellence. Whether you’re looking for tranquility, world-class dining, or unique experiences, this property offers it all. We felt genuinely cared for at every turn. Without a doubt, we’ll be planning our return as soon as possible.

We chose St. Regis for our 5 day honeymoon trip. It absolutely fulfilled my wish for a relaxing and luxurious honeymoon! The architecture and decor are incredible and felt very unique. The service was very good at the restaurants and our butlers were attentive and easily reachable via WhatsApp. Our breakfast service staff in particular were excellent (shout out to Ezekiel) and the breakfast food options were plenty and delicious. The Astor Suite was perfect for us, we enjoyed the private pool and jacuzzi (although it didn't get quite as hot as we hoped, and you need to ask each day hours in advance for it to be heated). Additionally we did have 2 nights when the housekeeping turn-down service skipped us, but when we came back from dinner and noticed this, they rectified it right away. The spa was an excellent experience, we had a 90 min couples massage. We also enjoyed the champagne evening ritual and the coffee tasting. It is very easy to get around the Kanai complex with the golf cart service. Definitely recommend checking out the restaurants at both Etereo and The Edition. The beach was very private, the pools were beautiful. Overall I would certainly return in the future.

Our stay was incredible, we had an excellent time from the reception, excellent and very relaxing rooms, we had the opportunity to eat in four of their restaurants although the best was the Short Rib and chicken that Chef Sergio Quiroz prepared for us at the Beach club and the enchiladas at the Toro restaurant with unparalleled service, we will return soon.

St. Regis Kanai is an absolute dream. My husband and I were blown away from start to finish. Having our own butlers, Jesus and Kopa, who were so incredibly helpful, quick, and thoughtful, was the pinnacle of a luxury experience! The service is top notch. Yessica and Manuel at the Spa are so sweet and kind. The Thermal bath experience is such an underrated perk of this hotel. For any wellness people, the steam, sauna, cold plunge experience is amazing. Request Nancy if you want the best massage of your life. The staff are some of the friendliest, kindest people we have ever met at a hotel. Special shoutout to Ivan!! He was the sweetest soul and so caring. The food is amazing and the rooms are stunning a modern. Not a detail is left behind. 10000/10 experience and we cannot wait to return next year!

The room was absolutely spectacular, the layout with the bathroom behind with bed lattice was very cool. The restaurants on sight were all quite tasty including the breakfast buffet. My only complaint was the bugs, but I’m not sure if that was seasonal. Our butlers Kopa and Jesus were excellent and always available.

My wife and I just returned from our stay at this lovely resort. We have traveled the world and we’re super impressed with this resort—the luxury, the design, attention to details, the food and the service. There was nothing we would change. We stayed in the Grand Luxe room with the plunge pool which was perfect. The room was a great size. The bathroom was immaculate and the space was designed and utilized efficiently. Toro was our favorite restaurant. The Drunch tasting menu and service was excellent. The pools were all great! I’d recommend grabbing a cabana for at least one day. The service was 10/10! Daily breakfast was also a 10/10. Ezekiel was an amazing and attentive waiter. Our butlers, Xochitl and Rafael didn’t miss a beat. They were both very responsive, helpful and a pleasure! Thank you for an amazing trip! We WILL be back!

The property is spectacular the service is uncompromising. Rooms were well thought out and nicely appointed Food service was on point and they weave the local products in nicely to the stay. The butler service is on call and responsive. Will keep on our list
