I’d like to share a wonderful experience we had this weekend with the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco. My husband and I contacted the hotel several days ago to let them know that our son would be getting engaged this weekend and was going to be staying at their beautiful hotel....

I’d like to share a wonderful experience we had this weekend with the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco. My husband and I contacted the hotel several days ago to let them know that our son would be getting engaged this weekend and was going to be staying at their beautiful hotel. Within hours of contacting them we received an incredibly welcoming email from Rose Bugarin, Guest Relations Coordinator. To say she has gone out of her way to make their weekend special is an understatement. It’s not just about the thoughtful amenity gestures but the kind and caring manner she displayed. Thanks to The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco! This is the reason why I’ll always be grateful to be a lifetime Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member.

The staff are all extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable - exceptionally so!! We are BonVoy members so maybe some of the positive experience can be attributed to that. Such as they offer extra amenities (like early checkin or late checkout) without being asked. They provided food credit using the required $40 destination fee, and also the use of their in house car and driver for evening ride service to and from our restaurant choices within the city proximal to the hotel. We booked the Club lounge rooms and it was so very convenient for morning & mid day meals as well as late night lounging access after dinner. This is our 3rd time staying at the SF Ritz and we will stay again whenever we have the opportunity to be in the City. There were many who assisted us but I remember a couple names: Theresa at the checkin desk, Landon who showed us our room, the concierges at the Club lounge, all the staff in the lounge food area, and Joel at the car arrival and departure entrance. Thank you all for a wonderful stay in our favorite City.

The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco is a high-end hotel located in the city’s well-known landmarks, as it is only a few blocks away from the active Chinatown neighborhood and restaurants and shopping in like Union Square. This historical hotel is known to embody a beautiful combination of cut sup modernity and sophistication offset by classical qualities of beauty and style. The cream of the crop service is provided whereby the guests should not have to do much, all the fine details are considered and room for improvement is almost non-existent. Another highlight of the premises is the hotel’s wine bar which is small but tastefully decorated and offers a selection of fine French wines, which is just what is needed after a long day. If you are taking a business trip or even a staycation, staying at The Ritz Carlton, San Francisco is an experience you will never forget. Great and friendly staff. Love the location! You get to experience the San Francisco hills.

Platinum Elite, but no lounge access, no free breakfast-literally zero benefits….and whatever you do, skip dining at this property. Tried to eat breakfast at Parallel 37 - so , so bad. $73 for the worst benedicts I have ever had and left on the plate. Good cocktails but terrible food at the lounge too. I’ll choose a different property on my next stay in SF.

We stayed at the Ritz for our 50th wedding anniversary and my wife's 70th birthday. We were really impressed with service from everyone we came in contact with, from Jaime and Scott at arrival to Teresa at the front desk to Rudy the concierge to Roberto the maintenance person to the club lounge attendants. Our room was fantastic with a beautiful view. Food and drink in the club lounge was great. Housekeeping made our room impeccable. The chocolate covered stawbeeries and the bottle of wine was a great touch.Have never been treated so well and respectful. Cant' say enough about what a fantastic stay it was. They truly live their moto , ladies and gentlemen treating ladies and gentlemen. We were so impressed with out stay in October that we have booked another stay for December for 3 days. Please give our kudos to all your staff and will see you in a couple of weeks.Rick and Susan Hellrung

I LOVED this hotel from the moment we arrived. The location is quiet but close to great bars and restaurants and yet away from tourists. The service here was phenomenal! We stayed here for 3 nights prior to going on a cycling trip to Napa. We booked the club room which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff that worked there were amazing. We truly looked forward to seeing them daily. We just finished our cycling trip and are presently back in San Francisco ( we thought we’d try a different hotel) for one night…so missing the Ritz!! I would not hesitate to stay here again! One of my all time favourites!

First class gorgeous property with equally wonderful staff. This is our second stay and it was an absolute delight albeit a short stay this time. We cannot fault the staff and quality and cleanliness of the room. Highly recommend booking the club level rooms.

We had a fantastic stay here. The staff never let you go past without greeting you, everyone is really friendly. The rooms are large, bright with super comfy beds. They have beautiful diptique toiletries in the shower. Location is ideal, you can stroll to union square in a few minutes....

We booked one night through Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts. We had access to the club lounge and appreciated the generous spread of food and drink. A top-notch concierge was friendly and helpful. The room itself was on the small side but quiet and well-appointed. We were lucky enough to have a view of the Bay and Coit Tower. The location was excellent: on a quiet street right next to Chinatown, a short walk to Union Square, and right on the cable car line. The Lobby Lounge served delicious food (the best BLT I've ver had!). We will definitely return.

Great experience. This hotel met the standards we expected in every way possible. Very attentive staff and service, beautiful and clean amenities, comfortable room and bed. Will definitely stay again if ever in the Bay Area, absolutely recommended
