From the moment we got off the airplane in Hong Kong, the staff of the Peninsula did a marvelous job! From the time Frankie greeted us outside of customs, Wilson, who drove us to the hotel in a Rolls-Royce, John the Bellman, and Cyrene, who showed us the room amenities and got us settled in the room, it was obvious that their chief concern was our comfort and satisfaction. They wanted to make absolutely certain we were happy with everything connected with the hotel. The hotel itself was glorious and immaculate, a true testament to the housekeeping and maintenance staff. When I expressed a concern at the front desk, Amanda Law listened attentively to all that I had to say. I felt heard, valued, and respected. So much so that the next day, the Director of Food and Beverage operations, Kenneth Ng, approached me to make certain that our needs and concerns had been addressed. We were truly amazed at this level of attention and care. We are grateful for all they have done to make our stay exceptionally special. Special thanks to Amanda for a small gift and going well out of her way. It was a truly magnificent stay and we are most anxious to return soon!

Likewise Felix Bar at the top of the hotel. The buffet breakfast is surely the best in Asia! We also ate in the hotel’s lobby restaurant which was excellent. The staff make this hotel simply the best in Hong Kong. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had sky high expectations when we arrived last Sunday morning. As it turns out, our expectations weren’t high enough! This truly was the best service experience we have ever had at any hotel. From our initial greeting to the bellman at our door to assist with departure, everything was perfect. The views of the harbor are not to be believed. The restaurants we tried were fabulous. This was the best hotel in the world firing on all cylinders. We loved it and can’t wait to get back!

Every staff member we encountered was kind, friendly, and attentive, making us feel truly valued as guests. I want to give special recognition to the housekeeping team for their incredible attention to detail. They seemed to anticipate our needs before we even thought of them. The personal touches they added elevated our experience to a whole new level. I’ll never forget the thoughtful gestures, like neatly organizing our charger cables with a leather clip and providing gadget wipes simply because my devices were placed on the table. These small but meaningful acts showed their commitment to personalized five-star service. Special thanks also goes to the Private Dining and Front Office teams. They went above and beyond to arrange a customized breakfast for us when we had a packed schedule. Their flexibility and attentiveness made us feel like true VIPs, and we deeply appreciated the effort they put into ensuring our convenience. The ambiance of the hotel is timeless, exuding a sense of classic elegance and glamour that takes you back to a more refined era. Returned to Peninsula Hong Kong On October 25/2024 Our Home away from home Absent since 2019 over 5 year's. Gaddi's, Spring Moon both in my humble opinion, remain the Best French and Cantonese Restaurants in Hong Kong. only exception was a total disappointed experience at the Lobby afternoon tea. our RR pull up at the Driveway Highly Appreciated Mr. Joseph Chong and beautiful Ms. Amanda Law along with many other old friends' greetings at the front door platform. in addition as usual Mr. Ricci Wu in Shanghai Peninsula's coordination on all arrangements is great appreciated.

Where do I begin. The staff, suite, food, service, bar tenders , house keeping all were in a class of their own. I splashed out on the RR transfer. Having owned a RR for a number of years, I was looking forward to sitting in the back seat. This was truly truly worth every penny. Apart from the car, the service associated with is at the airport on both journeys made it truly memorable. I would love to name all the staff who made my holiday very special, but that would be unfair to ones I may inadvertently miss out. Even the pre booking process was seamless, and being greeted by name on arrival, departure and throughout the stay made us feel super special.

This is a perfectly maintained hotel in a perfectly maintained city. Everything in the room appeared brand new and was state of the art. Well decorated in an understated opulent way. It has the best position along the river and the views go on for days. Everything is well organized from the morning breakfast buffet to the not to be missed afternoon tea. We stayed as an add on to an Abercrombie and Kent tour and it was one of the highlights of the trip. They also have every kind of luxury shopping you could want within the hotel. They even have a live band for the afternoon tea!

Excellent place to visit and stay, existing all my expertise great atmosphere, great staff very well maintained it doesn’t look like 100 years hotel and located in amazing location with excellent views at night time from the top bar/ restaurant I will definitely recommend.

After more than 10 years, I returned to my favourite hotel in Hong Kong. And I was not disappointed. The hotel is still the same grand crown jewel in the East. Their service is still second to none. The technology in the room is the nice surprise that I love. You can literally control everything from the tablet and it’s very user friendly. You can even read various newspapers from it. I love the experience and again I think the staff and their impeccable service is the main reason that I really feel like the Peninsula Hotel is my ideal “home away from home” in Hong Kong. I love it.

Ever since I went to Hong Kong in 1988 and lived right next to the Peninsula for 6 months, staying here was on my list of things to do. When I travelled on work, I was always on the Island and after that, Kowloon somehow did not figure on things to do. A visit to Hong Kong on the way back from West Coast, USA meant that I wanted to do the long-wished stay. We stayed two nights and the property lived up to its image and perception in every way. Everything about the hotel says style (not understated, to be sure) and civilised behaviour. Service, restaurants and other amenities are perfect. The concierge was always helpful, finding us routes, sight-seeing options, walking paths, newspapers, stamps, and whatever we threw at them. They also booked us the hotel Rolls Royce to drop us to the airport so we ended up leaving in style. Of course, the rain spoilt our stay but that was no fault of the staff. It also meant that we enjoyed the property to the hilt. A higher floor provides a terrific view and Felix on the top floor is an experience. The shopping arcade has some luxury but also some surprising finds. The pool reminds you of a Roman bath and there is a great poolside cafe which we went to more than once. Breakfast is a bit of a rugby scrum-it is packed and in no way of an adequate size for its clientele and in today's day and age, have no wholewheat bread options (no, gluten-free or "brown" bread is not the same thing). Restaurants have a high cover (minimum) charge which seems a little unfair for house guests like us who often did not have a big appetite but wanted the experience. Finally, they tripped up on the important question on checking out "Anything from the mini bar". How a hotel handles this question for me is the difference between a hotel treating you as a guest or as customer. The Peninsula failed this test but it more than made up with an experience of a lifetime.
