Great resort, staff and location. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our all inclusive stay at The Landings up to the final day, which ended up leaving us both disappointed and my wife very upset. The previous night on our return to our suite there was the usual checking out details and final invoice, on inspection we were being charged over 600 us dollars for food and drinks, we contacted reception to advise we were fully inclusive, to which the reply was our apologies we will remove charges and when we leave the following day we could check again. The final day we paid an extra 175 dollars to keep our room a further 5 hours as we had a late flight out, a little excessive maybe. However we had our already included lunch, including drinks, the invoice came to table as usual to sign, two meals, one beer and a glass of wine, zero charge which was correct, signed all good or so we thought. Move to checking out and now we have had a bottle of wine added to the already incorrect final invoice. Following nearly an hour of disputing invoice in which we asked for copy of lunch bill, which had now disappeared, only when we asked for Anderson, the CEO who had earlier been introducing himself to guests, and checking everyone was happy, ( very nice chap) email address did the desk supervisor agree to remove disputed items. This whole sorry episode was totally unnecessary , and spoilt what had been a very relaxing holiday. So as Tripadvisor is here to advise people, I would advise anybody visiting The Landings, it’s a beautiful location and hotel but if you are all inclusive make a copy of your invoice after each transaction. We do plan to return to St Lucia with some friends either later this year / early next but after this experience we now plan to book the highly anticipated, yet to open Secrets hotel, hopefully they won’t be trying to add extra items to the invoices!

Started off not so great. First room air cond wasn't working that well, and we thought it just needed time to cool down condo, but after sweating all night, and the next day, with the bedroom ceiling fan not working either, and then a 2 AM thermostat flashing due to air dying completely, we weren't happy. We live in FL, we know heat. Front desk really didn't seem to care, and acted like there were no other rooms, although resort not full. Asked other guests how their rooms were, and heard they were ice cold ! One guy had no problem moving rooms cause his TVs didn't work. What ?! Our air didn't work. They finally found us a room..hmmm. For what we paid, we should of had no problem getting a room with air working. Rooms need updating too. On the plus side: Free breakfasts were really good, beach was beautiful with soft white sand and crystal clear calm water and gorgeous views, always enough chairs on beach, staff were really nice, resort has taxi drivers (Junior was great) ready to take you were you need to go, restaurants in Rodney Bay really good and close, Friday night fire show excellent, and resort felt safe. Be ready for a long 1 1/2 + hr ride to the resort. People said it was a really bad ride and made some car sick. We didn't think so. Maybe it depends on your driver, but it was fine. We did the Fast Track, but because our flight came in late, it really wasn't needed. Had we been on time, yes, it would have been needed.

Our experience at The Landings far exceeded out expectations! The accommodations were spacious, immaculately clean and comfortable. The beach area had a perfect Caribbean feel and never felt crowded. The service was top notch, can't wait to come back!

Stayed for a week in a marina view room with plunge pool (i.e. hot tub) and really loved this very comfortable, intimate and chill resort. True, we didn't like the ground floor room we were initially assigned (703 which technically had no view of the marina) but they moved us to a second-floor room with marina view (811) and we were very happy. ROOM: More like a condo. Spacious, clean, elegant and comfortable. Good bed, good bathroom, hot shower, lots of storage space, excellent temperature control, and the hot tub temp was also just right. BEACH: Just stunning. Gorgeous view, sand and water. We toured around the island and this beach is as nice as any, and it's private (a section of it, anyway) and there are plenty of loungers and umbrellas to go around. Still, we usually showed up at the towel hut at 7am to save the spot we preferred...then off to eat an early brekkie...then back to the beach for the day. Water temp is divine. ACTIVITIES: We sailed (free) and jet-skied ($70 USD for 30 min). They also have free paddleboards and kayaks, and otherwise banana rides etc cost $15USD per person for 5 minutes. FOOD & BEV: 4 spots on site: The Beach Club at one end of the beach (open all day), adjacent to the Turquoise Bar, and Callaloo at the other end of the beach (lunch and dinner only). Suru (dinner only) is in the lobby across from the lobby bar. Coffee Shop in the lobby has some snacks but we never went there, since coffee was included with breakfast. We didn't do all-inclusive because we prefer to sample local spots, but our rate included daily buffet breakfast at The Beach Club, which had an egg/omelet station, waffle maker, and a nice selection of other stuff. It was alright. Callaloo for lunch or dinner is glorious, your feet are literally in the sand. The tuna poke bowl, chicken ceasar salad, jerk mahi and seafood chowder at Callaloo were all good. The Beach Club also made a nice veg pizza, which we enjoyed on our loungers for lunch one day. Suru (Asian fusion) was just okay (maybe we ordered wrong) and had no view. Anyway, we enjoyed convening for sunset at the Turquoise Bar every night -- they make a good spicy margarita or mango martini. ENTERTAINMENT: This is a very chill resort that's pretty dead at night. We went off property most nights, and we missed the Sat night limbo dancer, but we did catch the DJ afterwards, which we danced to along with some other fun folks. What passes for "live music" here (and in Rodney Bay) is literally a singer with a backing track -- no actual band. If you wanna party, you should definitely check out the Fright night "fish fry" located a 5 min drive down the road at Gros Islet -- it's a big street party with DJ and dancing, and booze and BBQs lining the streets, till 2am. One night we walked along the beach to Gros Islet to watch the sunset at a local bar called On the Rocks (10 min walk or less), but it was dead and a waste of time, and we hurried home because we were warned by literally everyone that walking to or from Gros Islet after dark is dangerous due to robberies. STAFF: Absolutely lovely across the board. Very friendly, as are basically all St. Lucians we encountered. MISC: Other things I loved: *No mosquitos or sandfleas to speak of when we were there (March 2025). *Taxis are easily obtained, can be ordered directly to your room (building) and consistently appear within 5 minutes of being ordered. They cost $15USD for a 5-10 min trip, each way. There are multiple excellent places to eat within 5-10 minutes from here. I recommend the Naked Fisherman and The Cliff, both located at the Cap Maison resort (both best experienced before dark), and over in Rodney Bay, Big Chef is a must (incredible steakhouse) and we also enjoyed a sunset meal at Spinnakers (casual beach bar on Reduit beach). Buzz was quite good for dinner too. *Amanda on the beach at Landings gave me a wonderful 60 min massage for $70 USD -- a steal when compared to resort prices. She's independent and doesn't work for Landings, but she's allowed to set up a hut on the beach just past Callaloo. TIPS: *From the airport, the resort is about 2 hours by cab or small ferry (45-60 min by speedboat if you want to share the extra cost with others). We took the 2 hour ferry (Funtosea) which was definitely more enjoyable than a cab ride...they played music and served free beer and snacks, and it was a fun way to see the pitons and west coast. *I recommend renting a speedboat (private if you can afford it) for a day trip to Soufriere. We used Solomon's boat tours and were very happy with the choice!!! For $500USD, my husband and I were picked up from the dock at Landings at 8:15am, arrived at Soufriere around 9am where he had a taxi driver/guide waiting for us (included in the rate). We arrived at the Sulfur Springs by 9:15-9:30, it was still pretty empty, where we did the mud bath and hot springs (fun!), then were driven to the beautiful waterfall (also empty!!! but the lineup quickly formed) and then driven to the Tet Paul nature trail (45 min loop, awesome!) and then driven to Dasheene restaurant at Ladera for a quick lunch (not included in the price, but that view -- so awesome!!) and then driven back to the boat, which took us to Sugar Beach and Anse Castanet for great snorkeling, and then back to the Landings. Highly recommend this type of itinerary. BOTTOM LINE: Yes, just yes. The Landings delivered supreme comfort, relaxation and fun. St Lucia is a wonderful island with natural beauty and gracious people. We can't wait to return.
