Shukri and Francesca made us feel special and welcome as soon as we entered this boutique Five Star Hotel right in the heart of Rome City. All hotel staff we encountered went above and beyond all expectations, including Toby, May and Aggia in the restaurant, Daniel and Jordan; and as mentioned earlier Francesca was pivotal from the start of the booking to the end of our stay with her professionalism, attention to detail, kindness, sincerity, empathy, and she personally went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly memorable. Nothing was too much trouble. The Garden Room was just heavenly and we made good use of the beautiful garden and the Jacuzzi was greatly appreciated after our long days walking around this beautiful and eternal city. The private entrance on the top floor added to this special room. Everybody we encountered during our stay was so lovely and sincerely wished us a great stay. The restaurants Shukri booked for us were outstanding (even at short notice) and he tried so very hard to find tickets for the Colosseum which was very much appreciated. Everybody was a joy! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Stayed here at the beginning of February. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. From the moment we arrived to the time we left the staff looked after us perfectly. Breakfast is a choice of cereals, fruit and a cooked option. I chose omelette most days and it was very good. The room was ideal for us, nothing fancy but everything worked, the shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. There are lots of places to eat nearby, ranging from 100+ euros if you want to go fancy to 20 euros for a couple of pizzas. My wife is vegetarian but we did not struggle to find places to cater for that. Most of the tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. We took a taxi to the Vatican museum, which is about an hours walk away, that cost 14 euros, and a taxi to the airport will set you back 55 euros, but is definitely worth it. If you like a pool and lots of facilities, you may want to look elsewhere, but if a clean, comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff and a great location are more important, then you can book this hotel with confidence. As has been said, the hotel is a hidden gem, and you won't find better staff anywhere.

This small hotel was exceptional! The location was great. My husband and I loved the quaint cobble stone street where it is located. Upon arriving we were invited to tour the underground Roman ruins connected to the hotel. We were treated to champagne and tiramisu in the ruins. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The elevator was too small for my comfort level so we took the pretty stairs to the 4th floor dinning area for the included breakfast. This was not buffet but rather very tasty ordered off the menu. The entire staff was exceptional and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel. We were set to stay 6 nights but had flight issues and decided to stay another night. The manager was very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel aqs it is close to several historic locations.

Rome has got to be my favourite city and our stay at the inn made it all the more special.

We booked this hotel because of the good reviews but in reality it's not that good to stay on this hotel.Yup the hotel is on the central attractions but the hotel itself need improvements, the bathrooms the wall the smell of molds. The breakfast quite disappointed you have to wait for the orders like 20 mins to 30 mins specially when a lot of guest arrived first, and the food itself was bad,the waitress brought us the wrong orders twice and has to bring it again to the kitchen and change, maybe it'better to have a buffet specially when the guest are in hurry like have early tours or depart early,The hotel was in the quite neighborhoods and thats the only thing i liked..

What a fabulous hotel so very near to the colosseum and the Roman Forum. A particular feature of this hotel is the Roman ruins inside the hotel! The room was very comfortable and the bedding a delight. The staff were amazing and very helpful throughout our stay and made sure of a taxi for the journey to the station. Breakfast was a-la-carte (and delicious) with great views from the rooftop. Would definitely stay here again.

We were greeted with a warm welcome and tiramisu while we checked-in. The room was elegantly decorated and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. Without a doubt the best and most quaint hotel we’ve ever stayed in. I wish we would’ve stayed here our entire trip! Special shout-out to Ian and Noel who attended to all our needs and made our experience very special.

Staying in a superior double room. Although in the heart of Rome it was peaceful and quiet. Located on the Forum itself. 15 minutes walk to the colosseum, 25 to the Trevi fountain. The staff were all friendly and gave the highest quality of service. Very much appreciated breakfast on a small terrace overlooking the Forum itself and with other major sites well in view. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic stay here. The hotel is very unique and the history is truly eternal! The hotel sits just minutes walk from the Roman Forum, Colosseum, and Cerchi Park. However, it is quietly nestled in a beautiful little neighborhood. It is very quiet and quaint. Upon arrival we were greeted with the welcoming staff and escorted into the ruins beyond the lobby where we were brought a lovely tiramisu welcome treat to enjoy while taking in the ruins. The room is impressively large with a huge bathroom. We had a plush king sized bed with cozy down bedding. The thick beautiful curtains ensured that the room was perfectly dark for great sleep even if we wanted a mid day nap. There was a lovely little balcony with a view of the courtyard. With the curtains open the natural light is perfect. The bed was comfortable and we Sisto very nicely here. The bathroom is very big with a walk in shower and bidet with all toiletries needed to have a comfortable stay. I will say I was a bit bummed that the tile warmer was not functional but the hotel was very kind offering anything to make sure that we were happy. This was not a problem and we stayed in this room as warming towels us a perk but not a requirement. I would also note that the building is quite old and the bathroom had a metallic smell perhaps from the pipes of older plumbing but it was fine as long as we kept the bathroom door closed. I think the hotel was really concerned that we were upset but we absolutely were not just keep in mind this building is antique and if you are coming from the US where everything is new and not used to a potential aroma of antiquity be prepared to experience a true European city and do not complain. All details are thought of here including mini bar, clothes steamer, hair dryer, toiletries and a welcome gift. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They are always ensuring that we were comfortable and happy. We absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel is a special place and experience. The nostalgia of standing and staying where the Romans once stood 2000 years ago was definitely a treat! The hotel has a rooftop terrace where we enjoyed breakfast in the mornings and wine in the evening. The lounge just inside of the terrace is cozy and comfortable to enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail in the evening and there’s a cozy fireplace to warm up, which we took full advantage of after a long wet rainy day in the colosseum and Roman forum. We had a great stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special Roman experience. We will definitely be back!

We have done extensive travel and never written a review, but felt compelled to write one about the Inn. It was a complete pleasure to stay here. The place is gorgeous and ideally located, with an excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, spacious rooms. But the outstanding help we got from warm and intelligent Francesca was extraordinary. She went out of her way to be helpful, including giving us suggestions about our Naples stay. Our days there were ideal. I would go back in a heartbeat! Highly recommend.
