This exquisitely decorated modern hotel , stands out for its art filled flair and superlative service. The staff are attentive, poised & helpful. The rooftop restaurant with its sensational views is outstanding , & we enjoyed having the excellent breakfasts there. Not so keen on the location, as although it’s close to the historic attractions of the Plaka neighborhood, some of the other streets can be a little mixed. Pricey, but highly recommended for it’s rooftop restaurant, service & having the Dolli as a base to discovering the nearby historic attractions

We stayed at the Dolli for six nights. In a sentence, this is an amazing hotel with the most attentive staff of any hotel I stayed at. When we indicated that we were arriving after 4pm, the staff immediately reached out to me to help arrange pick-up from Athens Airport. When we arrived, we were greeted by two managers. Not that we require to be greeted by a manager but it is just one of many gestures that is indicative of the hotel’s attention to their guests. Our room was cleaned at least two times a day, new flowers and deserts were delivered and placed into our room every day. The doormen greeted us and opened the door for us every time we stepped in/out of the hotel. We had breakfast at the rooftop restaurant on five of six days, by the second day, our server Georgia remembered what my wife and I preferred to drink and how to prepare our coffee. By day three, most of the staff knew our room number. The staff made sure to pack us a breakfast to go on the day we had to leave early. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels while traveling, I cannot think of another hotel with more attentive staff.

The hotel location is perfect, the rooftop restaurant and pool has the best views In all of Athens! I would also like to mention that Mary, one of the managers went over and above and credited a stay with them that was booked through Expedia last October when my father died. Expedia was quick to “say no” and we went directly to the Dolli Hotel and Mary made an exception and credited us fully, even upgrading us to a room that overlooked the Acropolis! They also gave us complimentary drinks and sent lots of goodies to our room. In addition, we must comment on the quality of the snacks, dinner, and breakfast as it’s a 10 out of 10! If you’re considering staying in Athens, don’t event hesitate to book this hotel! You will NOT regret it and like us, will likely make this your go to hotel when visiting Athens ALWAYS! Also, make sure and go to the bakery across the road and have the coffee! It’s incredible and has the best “kick” we have ever had!

The amazing experience starts with the greetings at the entrance, a relaxed check-in process at the sofa with drink and sweets and treats that await you in the room. It continues with wonderful breakfast at the roof top with Acropolis view, impeccable service with genuine smiles and more surprises coming your way (too many to describe in a short post). When I am back to Athens, I would not hesitate for an instant with my hotel choice.

From the moment we arrived, my husband and I were in awe of this stunning historic building that has been thoughtfully and carefully renovated. From the moment you step into the lobby, it feels like joining a family. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, with an amazing ability to make you feel right at home. The rooms and restaurants are world class and the location, which is right in the heart of Athens is ideal for sightseeing and exploring the city. Mary, the General Manager, is a true hospitality professional, and her team, including leaders like Anastasia and Harry, are helpful, professional and attentive to every detail. We highly recommend staying at The Dolli when in Athens, you won’t regret it!!

It’s so much more than just a place to sleep—everything about it feels carefully designed to make you feel both pampered and inspired. The building itself is stunning, a perfect blend of Athens' rich architectural history and modern elegance. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and offered an incredible view of the Acropolis that we couldn’t get enough of. Every detail, from the bedding to the amenities, spoke of quality and comfort. The rooftop, though, is what truly stole the show. Breakfast with a view of the Acropolis is something I’ll never forget. The food was exceptional—especially the desserts, which were out of this world. Even if I weren’t staying there, I’d return just for the breakfast experience. The setting, combined with the view, made it feel so special. What made our stay truly stand out, however, was the level of service we received. The staff was genuinely warm, attentive, and professional, always ready to go above and beyond. I have to give a special mention to Anastasia, who was outstanding. Her care, attention to detail, and constant willingness to help made all the difference. Whether it was organizing little details for us or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect, she made us feel truly valued. This level of experience does not simply make new happy customers, it makes new friends! Thank you all so much!

The moment the hotel door opens you are welcomed into Dolli-world, a feast for all senses. Beautiful architecture and a beautifully laid out salon which functions as art gallery, all-day patisserie and reception greet you, with the phenomenal concierge/reception team led by the wonderful Evrianthi. Every member of the Dolli team provides a superb service, welcoming, helpful and really friendly whoever you are and perfectly walking that difficult line of servicing your needs, without being intrusive. The rooms are equally beautiful, chic, comfortable and with gorgeous little touches, like a whole cake on arrival! The rooftop restaurant and pool area with breathtaking views over the Acropolis are, well, simply breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous. The sublime service and food did this beautiful space full justice. This is a hotel made for superlatives, but what makes it so special is its soul and this is really down to the staff. There are too many to mention but thanks to each and every one, with special mention for Evrianthi, Annick, Elenis(2)!, the lovely breakfast restaurant manager, Danai, Nikos, George, just a few of the wonderful people who looked after us from the doormen, bar, concierge, reception and restaurant. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Unquestionably!

A stunning 5 star boutique hotel in the heart of the best district in Athens. This hotel is an oasis of calm in the heart of the tourist district. Beautiful rooms with high ceilings, comfortable beds and excellent bathrooms. The top floor with small infinity pool and restaurant bar is stunning and has the ultimate A list view of the Acropolis. The staff are attentive and friendly providing great service. Housekeeping kept the rooms well refreshed and well stocked with water etc. For a visit to Athens I can’t imagine there can be a better option

We had no idea what to expect with this hotel, but from the moment we walked in for our ‘check in’ experience, we felt like we had made the right decision (that pink drink we were given - amazing!). The location is fabulous, the view from the restaurant and pool SPECTACULAR and the staff …. OUTSTANDING. Special mentions to the bar staff downstairs and upstairs, Danai (?), Maria-Evi and Vaso in the restaurant - thank you for looking after us so well. We actually haven’t checked out yet, and we don’t want to leave. Concierge rang and asked if we would like them to book us a taxi to the airport tomorrow - that never happens! We also had fresh fruit and a cake in our room upon check in and a selection of sweets and wine complimentary in our room. The decor of the hotel is luxurious and modern. To the management team - your staff are an asset to your business. We will recommend this hotel to all of our friends in Australia.

Very nice, maybe the interiors of the room was a little aseptic not very creative and small, and even the bathroom was small.. but the service and the location and the view were very nice. Good staff and the restaurant upstairs is ok Beautiful entrance
