Beautiful property, amazing staff, and breathtaking views—perfect for every age group. It’s high-end luxury but with a homely vibe, making you feel like part of the family right away. During my visit, I fell ill, and the staff went above and beyond, making me a special toddy drink with brandy, spices, and honey that cleared my sinuses. The cabana suites offer a truly unique experience with electronic switches, a fan, and an assortment of drinks and a fruit platter delivered right to your cabana. Plus, since my husband and I don't eat beef or pork, the restaurant staff made a special lamb moussaka just for us, which was absolutely delicious.

Lovely place, nicest people, amazing food and THE MAGNIFICENT SEA. Every day of our week stay we have feeled as the relaxing comes with the sun light, sea sound and pines aroma. The dinner at Squirrel is must to be done as food (thanks Grand Chef) is top and wine list (thanks Top Sommelier) is a widest with some really rare labels. Athinos restaurant will make you happier with the Greek food flavors, when the Andromeda share with the whole spectrum of Mediterranean cuisine. Suggest to staying.

We have just come back after a week staying here and it was very special. The food was the best we have had from any hotel that we have stayed at and we regularly stay at leading hotels of the world and eat in Michelin star restaurants. We are real foodies! The staff make this place, they can’t do enough for you. I have to make a special mention of Anastasia, one of the sommeliers, who was absolutely delightful and really made our holiday. We rarely go back to the same hotel twice but there is a strong possibility that we will return to this one. We stayed in an executive suite with pool and it was lovely and the pool very welcome given the heat this week! Thank you so much for a wonderful week.

A truly memorable stay at Chalkidiki's most iconic hotel. The team at the Danai takes care of every single detail to make your stay as memorable as possible. Special thanks to Vasileia at the front desk for her warm welcome and exceptional assistance, Christos at the bar for being a true showman and crafting world-class cocktails, and, of course, the managing director, Mr. Kimonas, for making us feel at home from the very first moment. Excellent. Staff, rooms, beach service, food great. Good for a long weekend complete break away from everything. Comfortable beds, classic luxury, hard to find these days! Only a short drive from airport and surrounding beaches are wonderful on par with Carribean.

What a gorgeous stay we had. A classic hotel, immaculately maintained with beautiful gardens, attentive, friendly service and incredible dining. We were upgraded to a Honeymoon Exec Pool Suite, front line and elevated with spectacular views of the beach and sparkling Northern Aegean Sea. All suites are spacious, light, airy and individually designed with a mix of classical and modern classic pieces. Dining is an experience, wonderful ingredients and delicious choices, four restaurants (open selected days) and a very impressive wine list. Chris, bar manager, is a great guy and wonferful company, as well as classic cocktails made to perfection he also adds his own twists and variations - all delicious! The perfect place if you want to feel totally relaxed but pampered and you enjoy all the lovely things in life.

From the beginning until the end of our stay, the service was really good. All the staff is professional, friendly and well trained. The hotel grounds are well maintained: lots of trees, flowers and clean. The pool area doesn’t have a lot of lounge chairs, but most people go to the beach anyway. At the beach, the staff provides you with fresh towels, watermelon, etc. The lounge chairs are very confortable, not too close to each other. Even if it was full on our first day, they found a way to accommodate us. The beach is quiet, very clean and calm water, but there are pebbles for 2m, then sand once you’re in the water. It can just be tricky to get in and out. The spa staff is welcoming and they gave us a really relaxing ayurvedic massage. The gym is well equipped, has AC and I enjoyed my session with the personal trainer. The rooms are all differently decorated, it’s particular but practical in terms of space. As for food, everything was delicious. High qualify products, lots of choices for meat or fish lovers, vegetarians and they can easily accommodate vegans too. My only comment to the hotel restaurants would be that fish dishes aren’t vegetarian dishes : vegetarian dishes do not contain fish or meat products. In a nutshell: excellent address if you want tranquillity, great food and excellent service !

We stayed in the hotel for four nights in a pearl villa and our stay was fabulous. Everything about our trip was just perfect - the hotel staff, the restaurants, the overall service, the beach. The hotel is situated in a beautiful garden with many pine trees in the neighborhood just a few steps from the beach. We dined in all the restaurants and each of them serves very tasty food. He had our last dinner in the degustation restaurant and it was an extraordinary experience which I strongly recommend to everyone who is staying in the beautiful hotel.

Danai is part of our yearly calendar now going each May and September when the weather is less hot. The resort is exceptional with its tranquil beach location, beautifully maintained gardens, and wonderfully appointed villas, impeccable and immaculate throughout. The food, selections of wines, dining settings and spa facilities and treatments are all stand out (thank you Marina, Aggeliki and Katerina!). At the heart of Danai is the family run ethos of the resort, reflected by the cheerfulness, positivity and continuity of staff at every level, where guests feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated throughout their stay. Thank you Kimon, Stella and the Danai team for creating such a positive life experience.

Danai Beach Resort & Villas was part of our 30th anniversary trip—we had gone to Greece 30 years ago for our honeymoon. We did not go tot the Thessaloniki area the last time we were in Greece. Given that this was the second half of May, the high season had not yet started. As a result none of the facilities were heavily occupied, and we got extraordinary attention from all the staff. The weather happened to cooperate with us and was sunny and in the high 70s most days. We had an incredible time and the accommodations, spa, pool and beach were all 5-star level. The food at the restaurants was superb—during our 4 night stay, we didn’t feel bored with the menu, which is surprising since we live in New York. Furthermore the wine service was spectacular. In fact, they made a huge investment in their wine cellar to expand their collection to 40,000 bottles, and on top of that have actually planted vineyard in order to better have wine education classes. Couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Mr. Komin Riefenstahl runs a world class facility.

My wife and I stayed at Danai for two weeks in May 23 for our 50th wedding anniversary. I put alot of research into selecting a resort for this very special occasion because I wanted it to be the experience of a lifetime for my wife who deserved nothing less. A tall order because we had stayed in many wonderful resorts previously. I dealt directly with Danai rather than through a travel agent and the help I received from the initial inquiry to the last was exceptional. This holiday was a surprise for my wife and from the moment we entered through the gates and saw the magnificent gardens and grounds beautifully maintained, to being shown to the wonderful sea view room we had been allocated (resplendent in marble), I knew we had entered somewhere very special indeed. Yes, we had experienced excellent staff service before on many previous occasions, but never with Danai's unique family atmosphere where every member of staff is well cared for and valued and in turn values everyone who stays there. The staff are wonderful without exception and do their utmost to ensure your stay is both a happy and memorable experience. The kindness everyone showed my wife and I, from the Managing Director, Mr Kimon and the ubiquitous Mr Vaggelis who manages the staff with kindness and consideration and they in turn respond in the same way to the guests. There were times when we were almost moved to tears by how wonderfully we were treated. But that aside, Danai is a beautiful resort on every level. From the beautiful gardens with vineyards, tended with great care by the gardeners to the magnificent restaurants where the food is truly exceptional and the lovely beach with beach bar and tremendous facilities. But Danai is a resort that is continually evolving in order to provide the best possible experience for visitors. For example, we were shown around the new winery by Mr Kimon resplendent with marvelous facilities. I'm running out of superlatives for Danai. Suffice it to say that this experience was everything I ever wanted for my wife andvmore and for that I am truly grateful. All that remains to be said is that if you are thinking of going to Danai don't hesitate because you will, believe me, have a wonderful holiday. This is one of those times when selecting 5 stars for my review is far too few to represent the memorable experience we had.
