Angelina is the best bartender in Las Vegas, and she is the reason we always spend a lot of time gambling at the Cromwell, even if we are staying elsewhere. She is friendly, courteous, cheerful and professional. You may not know her by name, but if you ever noticed an exceptional bartender at the Cromwell, that is Angelina. We met plenty of people over the years who go to the Cromwell just for Angelina. We spend money at the Cromwell just because of her. She is that good. The Cromwell is lucky to have her.

TLDR: Go to Paris or Flamingo/Linq instead We've been to Vegas multiple times, and have always enjoyed walking through the Cromwell and gambling in the casino. There's a cozy yet cool atmosphere from the smaller hotel. When we booked our last trip we were excited to stay there; the costs were relatively better than the last times we had booked. Unfortunately, now we know why. The sound proofing in the rooms is literally non-existent. You can hear every sound from both the hallways(even inside other rooms) and outside. We were particularly unlucky to have the buskers across the street point their amps directly at our window all day and night... Maybe it wasn't quite an upgrade to get strip view in this case, ha! The room is good. They were definitely nicer years ago as everything shows a lot of wear and tear. A good size bathroom, with a large shower. Vanity desk. No mini fridge. Found it a little weird to have a 2 way mirror from the room into the shower... Not sure how typical this is, but our wi-fi had issues the entire trip. The TV couldn't load at any time the 4 days we stayed. They called us in the morning and gave us just a 20 minute warning a tech would need to come into our room to work on it. The next day the bathroom sink flooded while we were out and had to have the drain replaced. After all of this the front desk was kind enough to knock 5$ off of their $62 resort fee... Maybe we could have been rude about it and gotten more but that's not our style. Overall I don't see us ever staying here again. The location is still great, and the distance from the elevator to the strip is probably second to none, but the room build and finishing quality is low and the price is high. In the same (or better) price range head South and check out Paris. For similar quality at lower rates (that also has a pool that's not a club), head North to Flamingo/Linq.

I am a platinum Caesars rewards members for the past several years. Each year Caesars Management has decided to lessen benefits and started to nickel and dime their loyal customers. The latest example is the early $20 check in fee. We arrived at the Cromwell at 3:20PM for 4:PM check in. Our room was ready but the clerk required that we pay the $20 early check in fee. Out of principal we waited until 4PM and refused to pay the fee. Our stay was 4 nights and we were assigned room 6XX. On the last night of our stay I started to have nasal drip, scratchy throat, and water​y eyes. This caused me to look at the room closely. I ​discovered the room is Dirty and Disgusting​ and Caesars maintenance poor. There was filthy dust on top of main closet cabinet (see photos), filthy dust-lint in the window curtain rods, dusty chandlier, a black spot near the ceiling that could be mold,​ and filthy dust-lint in the vent that was likely circulating around the room. Cromwell charged us daily Resort Fee of $ 54.95+ tax for a filthy disgusting room. We ​feel cheated and will never stay at the Cromwell again.

I stayed in The Cromwell hotel on February 19th. We accidentally left a wallet and leather folio in the room. Wallet was returned in tact and $1000 was stolen from the folio. Whoever cleaned room #742 on 02/20, stole the $1000 reported to mgr!

Drinks are 18 dollars for a vodka soda in a plastic glass, really?! Wait staff very slow to get around to tables, if you're looking for a "free drink". Had one Pai Gow dealer actually berate my wife for the way she created her hands, multiple times. We are the customer there for entertainment, that is unacceptable! Every thing is an add-on, including early check in/out, and even coffee pods are chargeable; yes they had a Kurig type machine, but don't even supply coffee with the room. The whole thing just left a blah, taste in our mouths. I will choose to spend my money somewhere else next time.

We got a king with accessible shower. So a king room but weird shower for able bodied people. Rooms are really poorly lit. Very dark. Limited amenities. No coffee supplies but a Keureg machine is provided. Bring your own supplies or buy them in a local store. Good for budget travellers.

Review of The Cromwell Hotel in Las Vegas - November 2024 Our stay at The Cromwell was disappointing, to say the least. While the hotel boasts a prime location on the Strip, that’s about the only positive aspect of our experience. The rooms felt neglected and poorly maintained. Shockingly, on the Friday of our week-long stay, housekeeping didn’t even show up, despite multiple reports to the front desk. Instead, they simply left towels on the couch in the room. One must be cautious of the hotel's practices regarding deposits and resort fees. These charges, proportional to the length of stay, ended up exceeding the cost of the room itself—despite us prepaying through an online travel agency. Adding insult to injury, they charged an additional fee for early check-in (approximately 1.5 hours early), which felt excessive considering we had already booked a week-long stay. To top it off, the minibar stocked with alcoholic beverages and the shelf with snacks and bottled water were untouched during our stay. Yet, upon check-out, we were incorrectly charged around $80 for consumption. Thankfully, we disputed the charges, and they were eventually removed. The staff’s demeanor left much to be desired; they were neither courteous nor helpful, giving off the impression that assisting guests was more of a burden than a duty. Now, we’re left waiting for the refund of the deposit charged at check-in. Overall, the disappointing service and questionable practices overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay. We cannot recommend this hotel.

The women at the reception desk were the rudest I have ever experienced! They weren’t welcoming, no smile, you felt like you were bothering or inconveniencing them. The hotel is a great location but not worth the price or atmosphere.
