The Bonham is such a beautiful hotel, really special. Interior and exterior are stunning, bedroom was lovley really comfortable bed, I loved the touch of the vintage radio with classic fm so much so we kept it on most of the time we were in the room. Spotless, great turn down service. The breakfasts were so delicious great choice and staff so lovely, special mention to the young lad there every morning, a really friendly welcome every morning to us. A shirt walk to Prince street and all the public transport but not too close either as it was a really pleasant tranquil location, so peaceful! Loved everything about it. Thank you again for a really wonderful stay!

This is a lovely hotel situated about a 5 minute walk from Princes Street. Rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. There is parking at the rear of the property, albeit limited, however we had no issue finding a space. Our only issue is we found the staff at reception...

This is a lovely hotel situated about a 5 minute walk from Princes Street. Rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. There is parking at the rear of the property, albeit limited, however we had no issue finding a space. Our only issue is we found the staff at reception when booking in and checking out to have no interpersonal skills and basically showed no interest in us. This is a minor point, however in a 5 star establishment I would certainly have expected to have had a warm welcome and upon leaving be asked if I enjoyed my stay and if everything was to my satisfaction.

Beautiful, elegant hotel in one of Edinburgh’s handsome(so many!) New Town streets.Area very quiet at night though perfectly safe of course. Our room was stunning, understated, a bit like a bedroom on the Royal Yacht, I thought.Classy.Classical music playing in it as we entered c/o of a Robert’s radio, setting the tone so to speak. Lovely sitting area overlooking the private park opposite. The cocktail lounge was just gorgeous and the best Margarita I’ve had anywhere at a reasonable price too. Lovely staff.

We booked in two nights. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel very welcome. The Receptionists were lovely. Our room (305) was lovely and very clean. There were nice touches of homemade shortbread biscuits on the pillow and free treats (Seabrook crisps, biscuits and Haribos). Really comfy big bed. Bathroom was really lovely and again very clean. Very nice complimentary toiletries. The breakfast was amazing. Such choice. The cooked breakfast was delicious. Service was amazing in the restaurant. We spent one evening in the bar and the barman Enzo and his colleague were delightful. Checkout was very smooth and we were able to leave our bags while i went shopping. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Princess Street.

We spent a weekend away at The Bonham and it was truly magical. The hotel’s elegant design and superb atmosphere, paired with breathtaking views, made for a perfect escape. The standout, however, was the exceptional staff—welcoming, attentive, and always ready to go above and beyond. I can’t wait to return!
