We once again had a great time at The Blennerhasset Hotel! We travel south each year with our pup, and this is our favorite stop. The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. The hotel is very classic and charming. We especially enjoy being able to have a fabulous room service dinner. Such a great way to relax after part of the drive south. Each time the dinner has been great.

I think due to the high ceilings, it was a little chilly...hard for the room warm up. Also, it takes a while for hot water to come out of the faucets & shower. Bathroom foor tile is very cold, so wear socks or slippers in there. Room 415. Marie something...

The Blennerhesset is an excellent place to stay in Parkersburg. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is great and the staff is helpful and competent. The room was comfortable and well decorated. The entire building is well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and will be staying here again.

My wife and I stayed here one night on our way south to Florida the week of Christmas. As we were deviating from our traditional holiday at home by being on the road, I wanted to find a hotel that made it feel like Christmas. This one certainly did with an Xmas wreath hanging outside each guestroom door and beautifully decorated Xmas trees throughout. This, combined with the historic venue and the welcoming attitude of staff, made you feel like you were staying at a high-priced Manhattan hotel nearly a century ago. Being close to the last Tim Horton's on our way south clinched a five-star rating from us.

They were running a promotion on their website to actually call the hotel for reservations to receive free glass of champagne upon check-in and a chef’s choice amenity. I tried several times and only got voicemail when trying to book our room. So I gave up and had to book online. My other complaint was the fitted sheet on our king bed was very loose and repeatedly came off the ends of the mattress. The 2 meals we had there were fabulous. The staff we encountered were all friendly and very helpful and attentive. The Christmas decorations throughout the entire hotel were beautiful.

This was a great stay for us. We went for the Thanksgiving buffet and decided it would be a good idea to stay there for the night. Comfortable room, great service - the staff is absolutely terrific. The downside for us was that our room was on the 4th street side of the hotel on the 2nd floor, and the street noise was quite loud and annoying. It did quiet down late in the evening, but was back first thing in the morning. Note to self: request room on the other side of the hotel.

We had a great dinner of Seabass in the restaurant, followed up with cocktails in the lounge. Great service all the way around. We ate breakfast in the restaurant the next morning before we left and again enjoyed great food and great service.

We've stayed at the Blennerhasset a few times and it's always a good experience, this stay was no exception. The staff was very nice, and dinner at the hotel restaurant was very enjoyable (shout out to Tammy who was great!). We thought the new speakeasy was pretty cool, too. A couple complaints, though. We booked a Signature Suite, which isn't cheap. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water or two in the room. Also, the bathroom floor was not clean. There were a bunch water drips and watermarks all over the floor. It won't deter us from staying again, but worth noting.
