Nice hotel in Rome in a good walking area
Cute, clean hotel within walking distance to Vatican City. Nice area with lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Best coffee we had on the trip (American style that is though cappuccinos were good too!) First night we sweated like pigs it was so hot. They failed to tell us...

They failed to tell us upon check in that the front desk controls room temperature so make sure you talk to them if it’s hot in the room.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Walk out the front door and the Dome of St. Peter's is right there. It is a short walk to the Basilica. Located in a residential neighborhood near La Vittoria, one of our favorite restaurants in Rome. Our room was beautiful and well appointed as was the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, offering eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, breads and pastries as well as cold cuts. Giulia at the front desk was lovely and helpful in answering any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel as a couple and were very pleased with the location. It's very close to the Vatican City and St Peters Square. It costs €55 from the airport to the hotel in a taxi, which is a fixed rate. On arrival, we were upgraded to a balcony room, and we could see St. Peters Basilica dome, which was a nice touch. The room was clean, well presented, and had all the comforts we required for our stay. The breakfast wasn't to our liking, but this was personal preference. We would have preferred a selection of local cuisines rather than an American style buffet, but there were plenty of lovely cafes, bars, and restaurants nearby where we got our fix of Italian food and drink. We dined in the hotel restaurant on the first night and had a lovely meal, but ate out for the remainder of the week as it was so busy in there full of noisy groups which wasn't the atmosphere we were after. I would definitely recommend this hotel we had no issues. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was attentive all week. I saw an earlier review where another guest was dissatisfied with the cost of taxis from the property to places of interest. The beauty of Rome is walking to see all the sights along the way, and I would recommend this to get the most from your break. We walked around 30 miles in 3 days, but you can do it at a much slower pace and there is always the hop on hop off bus services. Our recommendations would be St Peters Basilica as it's free to enter and is amazing. Advise an early start joining the queue at 06.30am to miss the crowds. We would also highly recommend spending the €8 each to go to the top of the dome as the views are incredible! Be prepared for the 500 steps to the top, but it's completely worth it! We also grabbed coffee and pastries on the roof as the sun was rising, which was lovely. In all a fantastic trip and a great hotel to base ourselves from.

From the word go, the service at this hotel was fantastic. A free room upgrade, complimentary bottle of wine and early check in- all courtesy of the team at the hotel. But the thing that made our stay extra special was the team member, Giulia. She was kind, helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. I hope that all guests are fortunate enough to receive the same kind of welcome that we received from Giulia, she was amazing. If we ever return to Rome, there’s only one place to stay! Many thanks from London!

First off I will say our flight landed at 8 am and we arrived at the hotel by 9 am. We were traveling all night so it was so greatly appreciated when they gave us a room when we arrived. That night we realized we had paid for a room with a balcony but we had a smaller room so we went to manager and they said there was no room available that night because we checked in early, however the next day they moved us to a room with a balcony which was much nicer. The rooms are pretty small, the beds are very hard, but room is clean and staff are so nice. We were in walking distance to Vatican and Trastevere (which I loved all the restaurants and shops).

We stayed at a suite for a few nights in May. The room was exactly the same as the photo on their website, consisting of a small lounge with coffee making facilities, a bar and coffee area leading to a separate bedroom and bathroom. Location wise, the hotel is a short walk from St Peter’s Basilica and less than 20 mins walk to Castel Saint’Angelo. The desk has an efficient system for ordering taxis if you want to go further into town and a concierge to give advice on visiting tourist attractions. We were impressed that she gave us honest information as opposed to trying to sell us a tour. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and there was a good choice. The kitchen did struggle one morning when a tour party was staying with some deciding to eat immense portions of food. TL;DR - Nice hotel, clean rooms, great staff, only short walk to St Peter’s Basilica with good options for breakfast. If you want to avoid a longer walk into town, they’ll order you a take and there’s a concierge who gives good advice.

We always stay here when visiting Rome. Unfortunately on this trip we noticed a distinct lack of friendliness from the staff. Even after 7 nights on checking out was I asked is everything ok or did you enjoy your stay. As a group stay oriented hotel, the lobby is now a luggage park and breakfast a jostle event, with unbelievable rudeness from staff and guests alike. Housekeeping failed on two successive days to even turn up. That said the location is perfect and when housekeeping do turn up the room is always left immaculate. I am a Star Member but this was never acknowledged! Perhaps new management have created the new order but surely a smile and a welcome costs nothing.
