We are repeat guests of the Marriott in St. kitts. This is our first time back in 4 years and we found this resort to have a wonderful staff as it had in the past. (This was a 2 weeks stay) Incredibly friendly people in many areas of the hotel. Our front desk person was Cassandra. She was extremely helpful when we had some questions about our room and remembered us throughout our stay. We went to her with questions and she was kind enough to give us help and advice when needed. She went above and beyond what I’ve seen other front desk people do. She was always friendly when she would see us walk by when we were going out. The hotel is older but it is clean inside and out. The food was good but service in some areas was very slow. You need to be patient or tell them you’re in a hurry - which we weren’t. The pool was nice with a few options as well. The large pool had lots of activities and great staff throughout the pool bars, restaurant and pool hut. There are two quieter pools for those who prefer that on vacation. They do clean the beach daily and was clean most days depending on the wind and what it might have wash up afterwards. Nice chairs and cabanas on the beach. They do have a small casino for those of you that like to gamble otherwise the night entertainment is in the lobby bar on certain nights. Many great places on this island to eat at with lots of fresh seafood and fish. I find this entire island full of friendly people who appreciate having visitors stay on their island. We will be returning again next year for another 2 week stay

As you would expect of any resort in the West Indies, the views were beautiful and the weather was great. Outside of that, I’d skip this resort and wouldn’t return there. There have to be better options in St Kitts and Nevis. When we arrived, my wife wanted to take a shower after a long day of traveling. There was a wad of someone else’s hair stuck to the shower wall. We never touched it and it stayed right there for the entire stay. That definitely leads one to wonder what gross things you’re not seeing. The main pool in the middle of the resort was never very clear and it always had a grease slick of sunscreen on top. Also not very confidence inspiring. Service and food were good at Fire, but pretty much anywhere else I found myself wondering if someone would find my skeleton there before I got food or drinks. I found myself commiserating with other guests at the bar by the pool, making jokes like “this would be a good place for a bar,” while the staff completely ignored us and, when you did finally get them to do something, they’d take a staggeringly long time to make 2 drinks. Everyone I interacted with seemed equally disappointed in the slow service. In the cafe in the lobby, we had ordered two Pepsis and two waters. The girl working there made individual trips for EACH drink and walked at a snail’s pace while three coworkers watched. I wasn’t sure if we were on candid camera or something, watching her get one Pepsi, walk to the counter, then go back for the second one. Having to sign a slip for every little thing doesn’t help increase the speed and can be an irritation. When you pay for an all-inclusive, they should just verify you have a wrist band or check your room number and call it good. Making everyone sign slips all day is a huge time sink. I can’t even begin to imagine how long it takes to reconcile all those slips daily. I have no idea if my final bill was accurate, though it didn’t seem outlandish.

The “owners” desk was always very helpful with everything we needed. Lots of restaurants nearby. Be sure to stop by the little local shops on the first floor for a great souvenir. And the Marriott is one hotel where many concessionaires will pick up for a tour.

We stayed in one of the residences/villas for our anniversary and it was beautiful. Everything we needed was provided to include a full kitchen, washer/dryer, dishes, etc. There is a grocery store a short walk from the resort where we stocked up on snacks and drinks. We only ate on the property once for dinner and had pizza from the pizza shack, which were both very good. The casino is nice, as is the lounge area. The lounge played a good selection of music and football was on the TV (which mattered to my hubby). Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Our first visit and we would return. The beach isn't amazing for walking due to the slope but okay. We preferred our non-ocean front view as it was very windy and sunny for ocean-front; we viewed the golf course and hills. We only ordered pizza here which was good (jerk chicken) but a bit pricey for Canadians at $35 US but we did have a piece each for breakfast. Great restaurants and Ram's supermarket nearby. Nice pool and great pool loungers with an adjustable sunshade attached.

Nice place, nice people. Calypso for breakfast is not the place to go, very chaotic, service suffers big time. The Fire restaurant was the nicest Restaurant on property. The front desk staff was awesome and very eager to help or assist in any way.

Hotel was very nice. We went in August which is in the low season. That meant that crowds were not bad and it was easy to book excursions. We hired a driver to pick us up at the airport and he was waiting for us on our arrival. We really appreciated his personal touch and enthusiasm about the island. He took us to several excursions and provided us with a personal tour of the island. His name is Jason Jarvis. You can reach out to him via WhatsApp - +1 (869)663-3561. Also took the catamaran to Nevis and had a blast! We had several meals at the hotel. The pizza place was amazing. Also visited Shiggity Shack and Monkey Barr and highly recommend both. The hotel was very clean and quiet and the staff was super friendly.

Just returned from 2 weeks at this resort. Had a fantastic stay. We stayed in room 520 on the top floor. Suite was huge! Bed was very comfortable with very nice pillows. While the hotel is getting a bit older, our room was well kept up. Our maid Erica did a great job every day. She learned our patterns and left plenty of cream for the coffee. She definitely added to our vacation. The pool was awesome with plenty of chairs. It may get a bit crowded when multiple cruise ships are in as this is an optional excursion for their passengers. Water in the pool was very comfortable yet refreshing. I would recommend 2 of the 4 restaurants. LaCucina is great. I had the spaghetti with Lobster one night, and Spaghetti with scallops and shrimp another. Both were Excellent! I would also recommend the buffet for breakfast. Salena the hostess was most welcoming and knew our names from about day 3. We had made to order omelets off the buffet every day. The Staff is great is great with our upgraded room, it included the breakfast which is about a $65 value per day (for 2). We didn't get a car, but taxi's were readily available. Troy at valet stand actually organized all of our rides for the 2 weeks as he also owns a taxi company. He did great. There are actually restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance and it's very safe.
